All the letters passed out begin to shake... and the seal melts off revealing a letter. Quote: A journey begins at the legend headquarters On this day of thanksgiving and grace First a few tirals before you stuff your face A flame is required to light the way... As the time approaches 5:30 the Legends and their owners and other invited guests being to file into the Legend headquarters. Confused looks on there faces as they wach come with a note in their hand. Whispers of what is to come fill the room and speculation of what needs to be done fill the minds of all present.

Demian stared blankly up at the door to the headquarters, wondering how the hell he was going to get it open. His black tail curled left and right as he cocked his head to the side, thinking twice about the letter that told them to gather here. What good would he and his other half be, anyway? They were still stuck as cats.
Clare quietly padded up behind him, huffing and puffing a little bit from all of the running. The kitten looked tired, his white fur a little dirty from tripping a few times on the way there.
"M-maybe someone should have come with us..." he panted, sitting down for a moment to rest his hind legs. "This spell is of no use to us if we're just going to be stuck out here."
Demian hissed a little bit, the black fur on his back bristling slightly. "It's FINE! We didn't asked to be turned into actual cats... I wanted to be placed in a better body!"
"Domonic said this was the best he could do without much time to prepare. At least this way, we'll be able to wander around by ourselves tonight instead of dragging Manny into whatever mess there may be."
The black cat shrugged a bit, then looked at the door carefully. If he had a better body, there wouldn't have been so much of a problem... He could have created a shadow for them to walk through, and everything would have been fine. However, without any actual hands, it was much more difficult to draw out the pattern he needed.
"Someone will come and open the door," he grumbled, turning his gold eyes to Clare. "When they do, just pretend to be a normal cat. This is embarressing enough as it is..."

Ink has retreated in the smallest space possible at the sudden swarm of people invading the Headquarters. Growling softly to himself, he parks himself at the edge of his hiding spot underneath a couch, large but narrowed eyes following the action.
Tucked under his arm is his copy of the letter, though battered and torn in plenty of ways as result of the baby's fury of curiosity. He remains silent and suspicious of every person in his line of sight, mostly because he cannot comprehend what exactly is going on.

Wren had the letter Lafe had recieved tucked into his jacket pocket. It was surprising, considering Lafe hadn't let him get a hold of it since he had gotten it not too long ago. Of course, once it opened up -- well, then Lafe let him have it, but only because it seemed to contain a clue to go somewhere.
The Legend HQ the obvious destination, but then somewhere after going there. He wasn't quite sure what was going on, but Lafe ... ?
Lafe seemed sure of himself. His tail was swishing back and forth lazily as he trotted up the path ahead and towards the HQ. Of course Wren had no clue what was going on, but he had a sense of something special happening. It figured he'd have to lead Wren around again. Silver-blues focused on the porch up along the path and he paused. Sniffing at the air, Lafe smelled two familiar scents on the breeze that carried.
The two from before? Letting out a small bark, he moved a bit faster to get up to the porch and the door way -- regardless of the fact that Wren had just yelled for him to slow down some.

"What they don't know won't hurt them."
D-chan wanders down the darkened street, surprised at the lack of light at such an early hour; of course the season has changed during her imprisonment. She should have expected as much. Still, it comes as quite a surprise to see the lamps lit along the street where only a short time before people walked by sunlight.
The letter crinkles in her hand as she looks to it once again, squinting in the half-light of a street lamp. The message it holds is beyond her. Whatever it means, she decides she will have to find out at the Legend Headquarters...
...which looms out of the twilight a moment later. She mounts the stairs and stands indecisively for a long moment, staring up at the building's dimly illuminated face before reaching for the doorknob.

Demian's gaze lifted from his other half as he heard a bark, his black ears perking up. A dog...?
Clare jumped and hid behind the black cat at the sound, his ears folding back and his paws covering his head. He made a pathetic whimper as he thought the worst, curling his tail tightly against his body.
"You idiot," the black cat sighed, rolling his eyes at the coward. He sniffed the air a little bit as the fox-like creature drew closer. That scent... Those silvery-blue eyes...
His gold eyes closed a little bit. It was that other Legend.
"It's Lafe, you fool," he muttered, standing up and stepping out of the way so the white cat would be in view.
"Lafe?" Clare blinked a few times, his blue eyes peering out from behind his paws. Come to think of it, the fox did look very familiar. Sitting up after a moment, he looked a bit relieved that it was someone that wouldn't harm them. "Were you summoned, too?"
"Perhaps we all were," Demian shrugged.

Suddenly a cold wind blows through the headquarters and black feathers fall from the celling. The lights all flicker out and somewhere a thunk is heard comming from the middle of the room.

Lafe slipped forward slowly after reaching Demian and Clare. They were different -- they were ... real felines. The golden gleam of the black one's eyes was a bit different, but it was hard to miss their scent or their presence.
He made a small bark, something of an agreement to say that he was summoned, before he nudged his nose up against Demian briefly. It was quick, however, before he moved past and did the same thing to Clare in greeting. He sat down them between them after that, as if waiting.
There wasn't long to wait before Wren showed up and growled sharply. "You couldn't just wait, could you?"
... and then there was the sudden thunk and the lights that could be seen flickering out. Blinking, he tilted his head towards towards Lafe and what looked like two felines he had picked up ( again? they looked familiar, but the last two ... hadn't been real ).
"Right, so, shall we go on inside and see just what's going on?" With an absent gesture to the door, it slowly creaked open and a few black feathers blew out.

Huni was carrying Paestri this time around, as the red head finally managed to understand the Legend's dislike for the stroller. She was seated on an armchair, when the lights went off.
The letter Paestri had received was in Huni's pocket. Paestri had learned from her locket that anything sealed that wouldn't open by conventional meant trouble. She had wanted nothing to do with the letter, until it opened that is.
A squeak of surprise emerged from Paestri when darkness descended upon the HQ and the thump was heard.

Demian growled a little bit as Lafe rubbed his nose against him, his fur bristling slightly at the touch. Clare, on the other hand, purred a little bit, flicking his tail as he watched the fox sit inbetween him and the other feline. As Wren approached, they both looked a little sheepish, mewing softly in hopes of not being recognized by the demon man.
The black cat's ears twitched slightly at the sound of the thump, his eyes darting toward the door as he grew curious. Did someone fall inside the headquarters?
Clare, on the other hand, became distracted as the door creaked open and the feathers fluttered out. Crouching down on his hind legs, he leaped into the air and batted at one of the black feathers, hoping to catch one to bring home. An interesting toy, these floating things! He leaped again, catching one beneath his paw, and purred happily at his prize as he leaned down to pick it up in his mouth.
Demian groaned and hung his head, shaking it a little at his other half. Idiot... Cautiously, he stood and padded toward the darkness, his golden eyes searching the room for life.

Suds lets out an enormous scream when the lights go out, and she scrambles closer to her companion. Ink had jumped when she let out the burst of noise and hit his head on the underside of the couch, causing him to feel absolutely no empathy for the frightened rainbow creature. Instead, when she scrambles into his grasp, he squeezes her in an unapologetic fashion.
His copy of the letter slips out from under his arm. There wasn't a point for him to try and continue watching now, since the lights are gone and all is black. Nonetheless, he crawls out of hiding as his eyes slowly adjust to the darkness, dragging the petrified Suds along.

There was something familiar about the two cats, particularly the way they mewed at him, but he choose to ignore it. If Lafe was fine with them, then he honestly did not care. The fox had a sense for danger, so far as he was aware.
Ignoring other thoughts, Wren pushed on into the darkened HQ and gave his eyes a moment to adjust to the dark. The benefit of being a demon was that he could, unlike most, see in the dark. "Anyone here?" he called out, just in case it was someone that fell and hurt themselves.
Lafe actually was briefly distracted by the feather's and he jumped up the same as Clare to catch one in his teeth. It disappeared a second later of course, but that was something else. Make a small mewl of his own, he nudged at Clare to signal they should go on inside. ( Even though playing with the feathers would be fun, they needed to go on inside -- he knew they did. )
Silver-blue eyes glowed in the darkness and as he peered about, looking around Demian, he could make the faint outline of something in the center of the room. Another small bark and he was trying to get the other two to follow him, or get Clare to -- Demian was ahead all ready. ( There was only a brief pause as he sniffed at the air, noticing there were others, but they were ignored for now. )

Taking the steps two at a time, Levi hauled himself up to the door of the headquarters and paused for a breath. The young pirate stood panting, arms akimbo as he stared at the door. Raising a brow, ignoring the little sounds from within, Levi slipped inside...and into darkness.
"Eh? S'this, then?" Questioning idly into the black, one hand raising to scratch behind his head, Levi waited for his eyes to focus. The darkness, however, was stubborn. He could hear so many things, surely there were others in the room! At that thought, his eyes narrowed...and the pirate edged forward quietly.
One hand dropped to the hilt of his little stone dagger, though he'd never thought of drawing it for protection. He simply checked for it, as he did his pouch, to make sure it hadn't been filched in the dark. The letter Aki had read to him said something about 'flame', so he'd brought the matches he'd lifted from Elle...but lighting one would certainly give him away.
Still moving quietly, sliding his feet rather than stepping, Levi ducked a bit and reached out one hand in search of a wall.

Demian stopped after a moment of searching, feeling something different underneath his paw. Some sort of... waxy lump, obviously nothing that was normally on the floor. Leaning down a little bit, he took a moment to get a good glance at what he was stepping on. Pushing on it with his paw slightly, it rolled slowly, then stopped again. ...Was that a candle??
Clare followed closely behind Lafe, a bit unsure about the darkness they were walking into. It seemed okay, but something felt very off about the place. He stopped after a moment as he noticed Levi enter the room, and almost whimpered as the white kitten grew a little frustrated over not being able to see his friend. Especially now that his friend looked quite big, and had arrived on his own. Did the little pirate grow?? He sure was behind on things. Did that mean Karan might have grown as well while he's been gone?
The black cat peered around for a moment. Someone with hands needed to get a hold of the candle... He couldn't make fire in this form, but perhaps someone else might have something. He began to meow loudly, hoping someone might draw closer so he could give the candle to them.
