I just got done with my first week of band camp and HOLY MOLEY I ached. Our DMs lead the exercise portion of our block... lots of lunges and plenty of laps. I could hardly bend my legs all week and it was really difficult to sit down! Wasn't just me, either, my whole section (flutes) were hurting all week.
So, how about you?

Our drumline camp starts tomorrow, so band camp for the rest of us won't start until next Monday.
Rest assured, though, that my neck and lower back will be hurting by Tuesday. Alto sax + bad posture = PAIN.
edit Oh, and you can't forget the wonderful tan lines you get from neck-straps. Across the back of your neck, and down the middle of your chest, if you wear a tank-top. Cuuuuuute.

I hurt everywhere, even with the Aleve I've been taking every day. Band camp's over now, but kill drill is on the 19th...that's gonna huuuuuuurt. xd My hand hurts from the angle my thumb is at when holding up my sax, but I think it hurt more last year because it was my first year. My back hurts because I slouch all the time, except at band, so...yeah. Calves hurt for obvious reasons, and I basically hurt everywhere. I don't hurt too much anymore, because of pain meds! Yaaaaaay! :]

It's my first year on bass drum, and I think the most annoying sore part of my body are my pinkies. ;-;

My band camp was a couple of weeks ago, and everything just throbbed with pain. crying
We god brand new drums this year with covers and stick holders (for the bass drums) too. My new drum probably weighs 10-20 pounds more then my old one so that didn't help at all. I actually got a lot of bruises on my hips and thighs from it, but I also got them when I first started playing bass drum.
Stupid drum racks and womanly hips stare
But my calves and arm muscles look amazing now haha

Yeah. I was hurting everywhere from camp. Then, a couple weeks passed, and I was fine again. I'm gonna miss it though. Senior year.

After band camp? Sore with sunburn and working so hard ;___; Not a good combination. Thank God, I don't feel as much pain when I'm sore...
Confused? I only feel numb when other people feel sore even if I work harder than them. It isn't until I'm massaging the soreness away that I actually feel it.

~ Sea Cadet ~ of #47 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corp Captain Vancouver.
My collarbone has a dent in it due to the fact I was in guard for a pretty long time, and since we slope arms (when the rifle is sloped against your shoulder, google it up if you don't know). Our rifles are like, 20-30 pounds, I know, crazy. My neck was super sore after 1 hour of slope arms.
We do: Marching Drill (With turns and wheels) Rifle Drill Cutlass Drill Marching drill with rifles, Marching with Cutlasses, And pretty much anything like that.
I'm also in band, But we just do pretty much the same things as any sea cadet band would do.
