The moon had ill givings with in the past year bringing the presence of the darker wolves and other creatures posing fear everywhere. Times were changing which brought the elder now alpha of the Eclipse pack to her worship of the moon once more. Not only was her God of the wolves but also the moon that overlooked many of the packs was celebrated and respected among certain creatures.

This very night Matsi set out on her own from the pack. Not to hunt but to stare endlessly toward the moon. If only the God could hear her, for so long had her pack been plagued with misgivings and now the Spirals. Her mate had vanished leaving Matsi to oversee the pack. Things were getting worse and she longed for some sort of good luck to pep up everyone.

Sitting upon a high rock she looked upward as the vibrant moonlight done down into her aquamarine eyes, "Can you hear me God of the Moon? I just don't know what to do with the present right now. Please give me a sign, anything letting me know I'm not alone.

She howled a lonely cry as her son in the distance joined in answering. He was the only other she'd heard from as the pack itself come together finally, was fading away.

Since last winter Limdur had run the moons domain and not once had a prayer reached him, he did not know any had been given up in his name and title. Had he known he would have come to his wolves sooner, if no other deity would answer them and they sent their prayers to him he would claim them as his to whatever extent he could without upsetting a sibling.

Tonight though as he sat amongst the pillows, a single dark egg wrapped in a blanket was slung about his form and nestled to his chest. The other egg, he was sure it would be a son, was with his mate. Stroking gently at the dark shell he smiled down proudly, his mate had given them children.

It was while in contemplation that he heard the words of a female drifting through the temple, he knew no one was within his temple aside from his mate, so this was a..prayer? Standing from his place he listened to the words spoken and the howl which nearly brought tears to his blue eyes, one of which would be seen by none but his mate and eventually his children.

After going to his mate he told him he had to answer to a prayer, he would do this alone but take the one egg he had against his chest with him, it was like having a part of his mate with him. Having the eggs with him, or only a single egg, or his mate with him gave him a very warm feeling.

Vanishing from the temple he focused on that howl, those words, the second howl. It was with a swirl of silvery blue and blue sparkles that he did appear, silken blanket tied at his back, between his wings, acting as a cradle for the egg.

Infront of the female wolf he spoke softly. "Do not cry so sorrowfully, your howl is like a cry which should make all around you weep for whatever it is which saddens you." Limdur spoke his voice soft like a gentle whisper. "I am here now, I will ease your sadness." By whatever means he could he would answer her prayers.

Looking toward the woods a single hand rose and fingers extended then curled and folded into the palm of his hand. "Come." He spoke gently, he knew there was another wolf in the woods...two infact and he motioned once more, repeating his words, but in another direction.

She had for a very long time been traveling. The Moon Pack she had belonged to had broken up...members scattered to the four winds. She had thought they would remain a family but they had not. She had once more taken to hunting small game for herself, just enough to keep herself alive and well fed.

She had not thought tonight she would hear the howls of other wolves or see a familiar female wolf, let along see a god. There was only one domain he could posses, she had heard Matsi's words, and heard the God's call to someone, and then herself. Stepping over bushes and onto twigs and over a branch she stepped out of the woods to where the two were, bowing her head slowly.

"Matsi..." Selena whispered softly, she had not seen her in so very long.
PostPosted: Sat Aug 15, 2009 8:36 am

Matsi was forlorn, a shattered breath of hope that lingered within the wind. But her call was all she held deeply for the wolf deity hadn't even heard her plea. Wolves from the moon for more inward then out speaking unto the night from which they were born of. Her union with Kaleidoscope had strengthened her heart and gave instant hope till the walls crashed around them and she was alone again. Kamots was strong and she wished him to find his own pack mate someday. A willing female to carry the strength of the blood that only ran within the moon's guise.

As her eyes flicked toward the ground she felt a presence. Being a seer once hand before she could sense things quicker then others for advisers and seers were designed and bred for such things. She didn't flinch when he spoke for she knew him well if only in spirit.

Her words had been heard in the form of a delicate song strung along the wind so carefully. her paw was much bigger as his placing it within his grasp as she stood up. Like a pup in spring she wanted to cry her heart out and say so much, but her ways were more complex then simple as only a gasp had escaped her throat in response. She wanted to speak but couldn't for her fear of being unheard had come to a halt in that short time the moon had visited her.

A howl to her first had come in reply knowing her son was back from his hunt. It was a decent hunt from the sound of it by the optimism in his voice. It was nice she had thought to herself that he wasn't burdened and able to be himself.

Her attention though was what her senses and the God had brought her to. A familiar scent relieving the loneliness of a lost pack was flowing throughout her heart, body, and soul. As if an awakening had stirred in the white wolf her tag began to wag at the sight of Selena. If she could of yipped she would have, but her voice was soft and full of pride as she spoke.

"Selena? Has it been ages since our gaze has met within these age old woods?" she murmured looking back to Limdur finally able to speak again.

Her eyes were soft yet deep as the water's depth. How could she ask so much of the deity she howled to nightly she wondered. Had he seen such as the past events even?

"I give you thanks Limdur; God of the Moon. I'm sure my howl was not at its best this night. Things have turned as if the ocean reversed its tide... bringing more woe then harmony I'm afraid." her words could of been within riddle and yet they were clear without burdening him with everything all at once.

"I am sorry to say but your past messages, as I'm sure there have been many, never reached me. I do not know the cause of this, but tonight your song reached me upon wings of such sorrow and sadness it brought me to tears." The deity spoke looking down at the female wolf, his gaze turning to the younger two as well. "I have not had the pleasure to meet a werewolf such as yourselves, it is an honor to finally do so."

He had to wonder where their God was an why he had not answered this females howls, did he not hold any compassion or sorrow for their plight? But now that he had heard her howls he would answer her pleas and assist her in whatever manner he could, without stepping upon the toes of siblings.

"Come, sit and tell me of your plight. What is it which as turned the tide for you and your kin?" He asked while finding some logs they could sit upon. He would not pleasure or pamper himself to some form of special seating infront of such fae's.

It had been ages and stepping out, padding toward Matsi, her tail was wagging happily. "It has been ages Matsi." She said bowing her head low to the older wolf. She had not seen her in a very long time, she had missed her - her whole family!

"When you left....the others slowly did as well..." She whispered thinking back on how Masti had left on a quest of some sort, she wasn't sure what sort of quest any more.

Sitting herself down next to Matsi her own blue eyes turning from Matsi to Limdur, bowing she whispered a greeting, before her gaze drifted to where she heard another wolf coming. "What has happened Matsi? Where have they all gone? I have had to once more live on my own." And raise herself, hunt for herself, she had done this for herself for so very long.

"There is no more Moon Pack is there?" She asked softly. How could there be a pack with all it's members scattered to the winds and to the distant corners of the woods? Why had they all drifted, what had caused it, why had she never known her own mother? She had only once seen her own sire but then he had vanished again, and he had promised he would be staying! He had even fought to remain the packs alpha.

Matsi usually calm stood with her tail raised in respect of another pack member. Though ages had passed and the footfalls had become larger the blood of the moon pack was always a pleasure to behold. Born of the lighter hues her pack was always reveled for the purity and patience among the other packs. Her mate carrying the sun's hues were a bit more playful and stil being opposite they were complimented. Since the joining of packs a strength had been sewed within the power between the two. When the moon or sun overtook the other a great power was reached unlike other packs.

Instinctively her nose touched upon Selena's own cold wet nose. It was an procedure she followed always even when she had been the elder within the Moon pack. Wagging her tail she placed her paws about the younger pack member hugging her gently then pulled back to gaze upon the fully grown pup.

Cream as the moonlight filtering downward she carried a good sense about her. Eyes shimmering of the water and land she had grown into a beautiful adult.

As her words were through she seated herself letting the night blacken around her as the white coat stood out in the beauty and depth she was. Though as she was about to speak another voice was heard which she howled back to in response.

A deepened voice filled with praise in his hunt lingered amongst the canvas around them. his own footfalls were heavy as his fur thickened with the coming winter. He carried a hind of deer in his mouth proudly; a gift to his mother.

His nose scented the others, his tail wagging especially after Selena caught his senses. He trotted along then ran into the clearing to see the others stopping in mid stride to gaze upon the fae that shimmered much like his eyes were now. The male rumbled in his fine chest as he lowered his head to the being that conversed with with his mother and Selena.

Kamots was an overly large male but his nature of being playful showed through as he tempted himself to chase Selena as he had when he was merely a pup. He wasn't a bully persay but he liked to chase the other pups when he could. But tonight he was going to be a little more in respect for the deity that his mother was speaking to. Padding over he dropped the hind leg near his mother's feet and licked his muzzle. Seating himself near Selena he listened to the conversation, ears wide and open as deep eyes took in everything.

"There is a pack per say Selena just not moon. In the time of changes we have allied with the sunpack. My mate is the elder of the sun pack which now we are alpha of Eclipse pack. I was born of the moon though and always will be...as will Kamots and you as well Selena." she murmured looking toward the deity. Matsi wondered if he sensed the evil that arrived in the darker wood. An evil that he too might do well to steer clear of as she had tried to do save that one time Kasdeya found her and Kamots.

"Far as the alpha of Moon, he was nothing but a cowardly mangy excuse for a wolf. All he desired was to rule and breed with my mother and the other females. He was no alpha in my eyes, "he growled with a display of his teeth.

Matsi looked sternly at her son and the disrespect he was showing in front Limdur before she continued, "The dissolving of packs and my mate's disappearance are not the only thing that bother my senses as of late.

"Its that b***h in the dark forest! If she wasn't in these woods things would settle. I would of taken her out if they hadn't..." he stopped in mid growl as his mother interrupted.

"Enough Kamots. If you shall keep this display shown outward instead of biting your tongue I wish you to depart from here. You of all wolves know this and shall not be a hindrance to me or anyone, " she snapped looking back to Limdur.

Kamots growled then lowered his head in his mother's request, " I am sorry mother there's just too much frustration right now. I will bite my tongue hence forth."

Matsi sighed and nodded, "Apology accepted my son", she then turned toward Limdur, "Things are tense right now I am sorry as to how they are prevailing. With the arrival of the wolf bearing bloodlust and other things we are in a time of distress. Without my alpha male I am powerless to run a new pack in the absense of even an elder."

She hung her head knowing not what to do or even if Limdur had any ideas. But, if there was hope his words would soothe what wounds were already lying open and bleeding.

Indeed, those of the moon pack were born to lighter hues. She being of the darkest hue, she was sure of such. Her mother she did not remember whilst her father was pure as snow in color. She knew she had to have taken for her mother in the way of her coat color, she also knew her eyes were not quite like her fathers either. She was sure she looked more like the mother who had been absent from her life.

She had often pondered, long nights ago in the past, why it was that her mother had not taken part in her life or rearing. She was not surprised by the lack of a father, he had been absent for all of the pups when they were born and raised. She had never thought of a night when she would see him, what a surprise it had been when he had shown himself.

Touching her nose to the once elder wolfs nose, a small smile twitched upon her fine features. Matsi was still quite a sight to see, she was truly lovely. Tail wagging and nuzzling the older female she settled next to her, pressed to her side. Taking comfort in her presence, something she now wished she had been around more often whilst growing up.

Startled by the new wolfs fast approch she calmed herself when she saw who it was. Kamots...she had not seen her brother in a very long time. Not since he and Matsi had left that night, when their father had shown up.

Shifting herself she leaned against her brother and nuzzled him in fond greeting, whispering his name gently to go along with the nuzzling. "My brother...how I've missed you." She whispered for his ears alone to hear.

"Matsi...I have not crossed paths with others from the Moon pack...I have no one but myself to rely upon...may I join this new pack? To keep with family and to gain new family?" A little hesitant, not that she thought she would be denied such, but she was nervous none the less for a reason, or reasons, unknown to herself.

Listening as her brother and Matsi spoke between each other, or could it be considered arguing, she tilted her head a bit her ears flicking from one to the other and back again. Finally when it was over she placed a paw on her brothers cheek. "Be glad you have had such a mother Kamots. I cannot say I had my own mother to raise me, you have been blessed in that way and forget our father. It is in the past, leave it there. We have a new pack and new family." She whispered smiling gently to him.

"Later we can hunt together, let off some of that frustration you carry with you my brother." She whispered gently.

Listening to the two and then three wolves he kept his silence waiting and listening to them speak and argue amongst themselves. He was pleased to see the reunion of the two snow colored wolves and the cream colored female, it seemed as if it had been all too long since last they had seen each other.

When they had finished speaking he nodded his head giving a soft humming sound as he thought and pondered his words and their situation. He was sure it was not a unique one and that troubled him. He also knew this was not quite his place and yet it was. Deciding he would help them, in whatever compacity he could, he spoke thinking his words threw even as he spoke them.

"I have heard all that you three have said and I will do what I am able to help you three. I will not see harm come upon you three." He spoke looking all three over slowly.

"I understand your frustration young Kamots. You are young and much has happened in your life. Matsi, I understand the problems you face and the worry you must be feeling I can not imagine. And Selena, you have not known family for long it would seem. For these reasons I will help you three and insure no harm comes to you."

He could indeed sense the wolf in the woods, such darkness oozed from the wolf within the forests dark embrace. It was not a pleasant feeling which he garnered from that one.

"I can offer you sanctuary at my temple. You may call it home for as long as you like, or the woods which surround it. They are safe and will remain so. I will not allow harm to come to you if you keep near to my temple.

I cannot bring your mate back to you or give you an elder. I can only give you peace of mind whilst you hunt and sleep. I can not undo what has happened to dismantle your pack but I make this offer to you for you three to consider."

Kamots was angry all right but his mother was alpha in the pack and he respected that. He knew his dominance outranked any of the pups in the litters by Gould, but he had to show respect in front of his birth mother once elder of the Moon pack. It wasn't right that both Gould and that psychotic b***h got away with murder- well the Spiral had the murder part correct anyway.

Still though he subsided his aggression with his sister's presence. He was being a total a** about this whole thing and Matsi his birth mother wasn't the one to take the blunt beatings he was sending out. Nor was he in the right to demand or otherwise call a war in front of a God either. There was some things you just didn't do.

He stood rigid but his tail did wag with Selena's words. My how he loved to hunt. In a pack he was all the merrier and that was a definite invitation. He grinned playfully at her becoming the laid back pup his mother raised with pride.

"Hunting sounds good right about now... well later once things are settled" he nodded with a toothy canine grin.

Matsi watched them both with interest, for pack interaction brought back a little happiness within the alpha. She looked serenely into Selena's eyes, her own like tranquil pools that flickered the moon dipped within soft greens and blues. "Yes Selena... of course you are one of the Eclipse pack. Any and all that walked both sun and moon are welcome within these bonds and blood."

Her ears flicked feeling a bit more at ease within her family and the Moon God's presence. With Kamots cooling down it easier to think and consider Limdur's words more easily.

"Your word and offer are humbly considered but it must be a pack overall agreement as little of us as there are" she said with a returning nod then slowly looked at the members of her pack for answers be they agreement or disagreement.

"We are plagued in these very woods we call home by a monster that would hunt us unfairly, fellow pack members. It is in my vote that for now til the black beast moves we relocate to a safer haven. I feel it within my soul the tribe wolves will keep her at bay, but I fear the evil that she uses to taint things will destroy our hunting grounds".

"If Selena votes on going then I'm game. I'd rather hunt down that bi..." he bit his tongue just then remembering his manners, "that creature and make her pay for what she does. But, it will also be good to hunt without being hunted too.

Matsi then looked to Selena pausing as the sharp cry of a demon wolf shattered her peaceful contemplation. Usually composed she began to tremble a little looking to her pack for reassurance. It wasn't that Matsi was a coward, but its as the old saying goes. Better to let a sleeping wolf lie then to loose your life. The Spiral was hunting or destroying things once more. She wondered now if things would ever right themselves now that hell had moved in next door.

"Then later we will hunt under the moon, together as a family." She whispered as he moved to lean against her older brother. Oh, how she had missed him. She had missed her whole family, she would always miss those she had met who were no longer around, she did often wonder where they were and if they were alright.

Listening to Matsi speak she bobbed her head gently. This wolf sounded dangerous, as did staying on their own sound dangerous. She didn't like the idea of being in danger, much less her family as small as they were.

"I think we should do what is most safe for us, if that means leaving these grounds for some time then we should." She whispered. She had gotten closer to Kamots at the sound of the she wolf Matsi had been speaking of howled.

"We must think of our family, all of us, and how best to gain in numbers and strength..." And to do so they couldn't risk themselves around this she wolf, not as they were it would cost them dearly from the sound of things.

"We will stay together, as a family, I will not loose my family once again..." She whispered looking up at her brother seeking comfort from his presence. He was not the alpha of this pack, as she was sure Matsi was. She somehow just knew Matsi's new standing in the pack. Rather then taking comfort from Matsi she wanted it from her brother, he was a large male wolf and her brother, and she felt much like the young, small, sister seeking a brothers comfort and support.

"Of course, it would make me think less of you if it were not a pack agreement. A pack, a leader, must always consider and question every members opinion. A sign of a fair leader is to take into mind everyones opinion and thoughts." He said as he praised her leadership of the pack, he would never insult this female wolf. She was standing up, tall and proud, against such a beastly wolf and such a threat to her pack and still thinking of her pack and their wants.

Hearing the lower ranked females words, her want and Kamots as well he nodded his head once. "Then if this is your wish and need, to seek your protection under my cloak of moon shine, so shall I grant you the protection you need until you are able to stand without my protection. You will have the run of the bountiful woods which surround my temple, my your hunting their be plentiful and when the night comes on you may sing to your hearts and souls content and then lay your heads wherever it may please you." Limdur spoke his voice gentle and his words.

Matsi felt the darkness approaching even though the stars shone brightly as well as the moon who's gaze was regal and full of hope. Her water-like eyes glistened looking toward the incoming menace before she spoke.

"We must depart of this place before the demon comes nearer. I am the alpha in my mate's presence and call upon this departure immediately. Let us be in leave of this place for a while till strength flows within the pack much more" she spoke letting her eyes waver to the incoming madness that choked the clearing like a death seeking them all out.

She stood tall and proud letting her ears flick forward as her eyes shimmered in determination, "Come Eclipse pack we must go... NOW." Looking desperately at Limdur her eyes pleaded for them to be away, far away before Kasdeya would harm the pack.

"Please we must go" the she-wolf spoke with a bark of respect but urgency unto the God, "I won't loose my pack to her."

Kamots took his place by his mother as his fur bristled upon his ruff, "If she comes I'll protect you mother. That demon won't get far..." he growled shifting his gaze to the incoming menace. He motioned for his sister to near closer as his ears stayed up right and his fur bristled. He wanted a good fight but he was content if his mother wanted escape. No use shedding blood if the alpha didn't wish it.

While he did not fear this oncoming beast of a wolf he knew she was a danger, to these wolves before him. He would not allow harm to come to them, he simply would not permit it. Not only had they once been members of the moon pack, but they had sought him out and sung his praises -howling into the night to him. He would not dishonor such loyalty nor such honor, as he saw them to be both loyal and honorable wolves.

"Yes, we will depart at once, I will not allow harm to come to you." He spoke motioning for them to gather to him. He would whisk them away to his temple before the Spiral Dancer could lay a paw into this clearing.

"Tonight you will not fight, you will come with me and be safe." They would hunt in his woods and he would watch, see to it that they did survive and thrive. He would not see them falter or fail, he would aid them as needed but no more. It would not do to hand things to such a proud trio of wolves it would be improper and likely seen as insult. He would help when they asked of it, other wise he would watch from a distance with pride shining in his eyes.

Seeing where this was heading and hearing the God's words she moved to press herself to him. They would be safe -soon. They would have shelter and a safe haven to hunt in and lay their heads down at night. They would be able to reestablish themselves and gain in numbers, to gain in person strength as well as socially strengthen themselves.

"Kamots...Matsi." She called her cyan eyes looking to the two with worry shining. She was worried for them, if they did not hurry. She did not know how fast this enemy would move to attack, nor how close this wolf was right now.
