Who: Noel and Lucifer
When: Sometime before the challenge day 11
Where: Forest
It was still pretty early. Noel had finished breakfast, if you could call it breakfast, and made his way over to the shark cabin to collect a certain fire bug of an audio. They were so going to bag a demon deer today. Noel could feel it.
The short audio knocked on the sharks cabin door, remembering how Lucifer hated the surprise of waking up to his face... awwww Noel so wanted to climb into Lucifers bed again and surprise him. Ah well.
Knock knock.
The mod waited there patiently with an idiotic grin on his maw.

Mmmfff, what the hell man. Roused from his sleep, Lucifer opened one eye, glaring toward the direction of that knocking sound. It was Noel, had to be, who else could it be? At least he had waited outside this time, though Lucifer had been sleeping with his pants on since that morning.
Alright alright...I'm up.
Yawning, still half asleep, Lucifer climbed from his top bunk, rustling for a clean shirt in his bag. Shirt pulled over his head, bag over his shoulder, another yawn, Lucifer made his way to the cabin door.
"Hello Noel."

Noels idiot grin widened. His savior was here and there was no hiding how happy he was to see him. The mods eyes traveled downward... darn pants. The smile didn't falter though. Nope, it stayed put.
"We should get a move on Lucifer before its to late~ " He grabbed on of Lucifers hands and tugged gently on it.
"We need to get to work before they wake up. " By they, Noel meant the demonic deer.
The little Brit was having trouble tugging on Lucifers hand. Course he would, Lucifer could probably crush Noel with one hand if he wanted to.

For once, Lucifer didn't fight it, maybe it was that he was too tired, or maybe he just knew Noel would figure out how to get his way. Damn the cute fuzzball, if only he knew the true potential, oh dear good, Lucifer wouldn't have stood a chance.
"What are you in such a hurry for?"
Seriously, what the hell was he so excited about, and what was with that grin? They? He was still sleepy, oooh, right, demon deer, of course.
NO I WILL NOT TAKE OFF MY PANTS FOR YOU! Oh Noel was thinking it, Lucifer knew that he was.

Noel happily skipped as he tugged Lucifer along gently as he could. He looked back with that smirk on his maw and just couldn't help but smile.
"I think right now's the best time to strike those deer. While they slumber, " Again, it could probably be assumed Noel had NEVER seen a deer out side of the movie Bambi. Really, he'd never been to the great outdoors before. Anyone could tell that just by the way he was dressed.
Converse ? Was he nuts? Those were no woods exploring shoes.
Still the mod's tail swished happily as he pranced about leading the two into the dark abyss of the woods. The only thing that would make this skipping better was if Lucifer was in his underwear. . .

Right, whatever, fine.
Lucifer would have been more than happy to completely forget about the idea of demon deer (sleep good, why had he even suggested demon deer in the first place? Oh right) But it kept his cute little fuzzball of a fanboy happy, and as long as Noel was happy, well he supposed he could tolerate it. Heh, cute little naive Noel, only he would have ever believed such a story.
"Alright, but remember they're sneaky and clever, they might be hard to find."
Of course the thought that Noel was holding his hand (and not just dragging him along) had not yet occurred to Lucifer's sleepy mind.

The woods in the early morning were a little eerie. Sure the sun was up over the horizon but still. The chill left over from the evenings night still lingered a bit in the thick of the trees. You could see Noel shiver a bit even through his clothing. It wasn't the cold that made him shiver either, a mixture of excitement, fear, and holding Lucifers hand. Lucifer was so hot.
"They must be close by," Noel's voice had dropped to a soft whisper, "The cold.. they must be drawing energy from us so they can manifest some sort of nightmarish hell for - " The last line was cut short by Noel tripping over a branch.
Lucky for Noel, he was holding onto Lucifer's hand, otherwise he'd have yet another face full of mud and forest leaves.
Outdoorsman? Noel was not.

Facepaw, what a klutz. Lucifer's gripe tightened around Noel's, hoisting the little fanboy back to his paws before he ended up in the dirt. Oh Noel, you--wait a minute! WERE THEY HOLDING HANDS?!! ARGG!! And yet, despite the inner conflict, he couldn't bring himself to pull his paw away, though his grip did fade. If Noel wanted to hold hands, fine, but he was having no part of it!
"Maybe, or they could be using their agents to fool us."
Or maybe it was just that they were in the deep shade and the sun hadn't reached this far yet, or something like that. Silly Noel. He supposed he could help Noel stay warm by bringing him closer....wait-Oh god! Did he really just have that thought?!

Noel hadn't noticed Lucifer's sudden realization that they were holding hands. No, he just thought maybe he strained his wrist or something from that trip Noel had. The stupid little , charming , grin of his stayed on his maw but Noels eyes showed a bit of concern for Lucifer.
"I'll be more careful," Noel eyed Lucifers wrist for a moment or two before noddint.
"Yeah I think they must be using some force.. This is a good sign, we must be nearing the nest." He crossed his arms for a moment and thought. "We need to destroy the queen. And we need to be careful of face huggers.."
Oh god.. had he gotten Bambi and Alien's mixed up? Well... he did watch those two movies at the same time.
"You don't want a face hugging deer attached to your face.. They'll lay eggs in your chest and gross worm like things pop out. Its gross..." That thought left Noel shivering worse then before. Fear....

Lucifer raised a brow, just staring at the crazy little fanboy. What the ******** hell was he talking about?! Did he even hear was he was saying? Who the hell came up with s**t like that? Clearly someone had watched one too many horror movies.
"We'll be careful."
Just what the hell man, what the ******** hell. FACEPAW! Oh Noel, what am I going to do with you, you cute little naive fuzzball. Sigh, why must you be so damned cute?
One day he was really going to have to straighten Noel out on the matter of demon deer...or at least convince him they weren't a threat to him. On the other hand, he was cute like that, all determined and idiotic. Oh god, what was he thinking?!

Noel nodded, he was serious now. They'd have to be really careful not to scare them off.
It was then a snake slithered by Noels feet causing him to scream and run, flailing his arms, in a random direction in the woods. Snakes usually didn't scare him, when behind glass, not by his feet.
It was five minutes of running before Noel realized he had left Lucifer. s**t! He didn't know where he was. The mod shivered. Nature was scary.

What the--oh come on! It was just a little snake, a harmless one at that. Lucifer would have picked it up to show Noel just how stupid he was being...if Noel hadn't already taken off running like an idiot. Not that the snake had stuck around, having slithered off as quickly as possible the moment it was screamed at.
Facepaw.
A sigh, Lucifer started off in the direction that Noel had run. He shouldn't be too hard to find with that racket he was making, and the foliage he broke along with way.
"Noel! Where the hell are you? NOEL!"

The tree's in these parts of the woods seemed to block out any on coming light. It was dark and eerie and Noel didn't like it. Obviously he must have been close to the 'layer of the demon deer'. Really he was in the middle of the freaking woods with out a paddle, so to speak.
The lost audio could only whine some.. "L-lucifer?" Right now all he wanted to do was hold onto Lucifer. The poor kid was terrified. "L-Lucifer......" He chocked a bit on tears.
Mighty outdoors man.. yeah no.
But then a small strand of hope. His name was being called. There was no mistaking the voice it belonged to either.
"LUCIFER!" Noel flailed his arms as he yelled. Unlucky for the mod his arm hit a spider web, and he now had a spider crawling down his arm
"AHHHHHH!!!"
The mod shrieked. A freaking spider was on his arm!

Oh ********, now what?
There was no mistaking that girlish scream, or who had mad it. Worried, for perhaps the first living creature ever, Lucifer ran, following the sound of Noel's scream.
Whatever he had expected, it was not what he saw. What the ********, WHAT THE ********?! Lucifer frowned, his brow furrowed. What the hell was wrong with him? He Lucifer was, thinking that something might have actually happened, and all it was was a stupid spider?!
Facepaw!
"Relax, it won't hurt you."
A simple flick, and the spider was gone. What an idiot.

Noel clung to Lucifer and burred his sobbing face into the bigger audio's chest. The little Brittish audio couldn't help but just cling there. He didn't think that Lucifer would come so fast but here he was.
"T-thank you .. " His voice was small and his sobs were now hushing. Thank god Lucifer had killed the brain eating spider. Who knew what damage that spider could have done.
All Noel could do now was cling.
.. Wait where the ******** where they?
Noel blinked.
