Now in the back yard you find yourself standing by a pool area. Around the pool there are a few chairs and a couple of tables with blue and white umbrellas over them. The pool itself was very natural looking. The entire thing was made of smooth stone which were enchanted to always be at a nice warm temperature, no matter what the weather. The pool's depth varied from it's deepest end, 12' to it's most shallow which gently slopes to dry stone. In this way creatures of just about every shape and size was able to go in. Just like most everything here at Salem's Home, the pool was enchanted as well. There is never any fear of a child drowning here simply because the pool if the child can't swim or grows too tired, they are gently floated over to the shallow end where they can reach the bottom. If a tiny baby, such as a pixie, is sitting in the shallow end and a large wave comes caused by a larger child the pixie will simply be lifted up with the wave and pluncked right back down once the swell has passed. Many kids actually find this to be quite fun! The pull also stays at a consistant level so that if water is poured in or leaks out it will fill and empty itself accordingly. The pool is constantly cleaned by magic so the water is always pure. Lastly, there seems to be doors at the deepest end of the pool. This is where our fresh water creatures reside.
