The West Yard is mostly open grass with a hammock hanging between two trees. If you look up however you will see what's so interesting about this area. It's the tree house. But not just any tree house! This was the tree house kids dreamed of! The there was one in each tree, the two connected by a rope and wood bridge. There were wooden ladders nailed to the side of each tree to climb up. The tree houses themselves displayed an obvious favorite game of many of the children. One tree house was painted all black and if you were to go inside you'd find many little soft foam katanas and a box of foam sharuken. There was also a litte chest full of black costumes. The other tree house however looked more like a ship then a house. It had round 'port holes' for windows, a wooden mermaid attached to an extened part of the house that made up the bow. Just behind the bow was a wheel to 'stear' the 'ship. Inside was a chest hidden in the bow with bandannas, eye patches, peg legs, hooks, parrots, raggedy shirts, and raggedy pants. There was also a box with foam cutlass' and guns that shot foam bullets. The Pirates vs. Ninjas war was a bloody one that didn't look like it would be ending any time soon...

"What's out here, Neets?"
A small, happy voice came from behind Ava and Noe, the speaker apparently female and rather hyperactive. Young, blond and with pointed ears, the little girl followed Ava's finger and squeaked with glee, jumping up and down. "It's a TREEHOUSE!" She exclaimed. "Neets, Neets, you didn't say there was a treehouse!"
"Jezzy, stop yelling." A blue-haired girl, slightly older, appeared behind "Jezzy," followed by a few more young children - the most familiar being a young anthro bat with purple-tinted glasses. The bat-child looked up with a wide grin. "Noe? Auntie Ava?"
(*snerk* Rune's kids now refer to them as Aunt Astraea and Aunt Ava. xDDD)

(*laughs* If'n ya want. I only brought the others because Rune is occupied, and Neets doesn't like to go places alone. There's only like five of them, counting Anitia.)
"Noe!" Apparently unaffected by the screech - though several of the other children twitched - Anitia happily returned the hug, grinning from ear to large, pointed ear. "I knew it was you! We both grew, isn't it cool?"
"Wow - now that's a set of lungs!" 'Jezzy' remarked with a burst of laughter. "He's so sweet, though." She grinned up at Ava. "I'm Jezzy. Neets is my sister. You're pretty, are you Noe's mommy?"

Jezzy made a gleeful noise. "She even BLUSHES cute!"
The blue-haired girl giggled softly, green eyes sparkling as she looked up at Ava. A small blue tattoo of a diamond sat on her cheek, white fuzzy white horns and a double-tipped, white tail flicked behind her. "Sorry 'bout Jezzy, she's kinda hyper. I'm Raven. Neets you know - "
"Auntie Ava!" Little Karaya zoomed to the front, hugging Ava happily 'round the knees before turning to do the same to Noe. "Hi, Noe. Ooo, a treehouse?"
" - and I guess you know Karaya, too." Raven grinned, motioning toward the last little member of their group - a small girl with multi-colored skin and striped hair, her large blue eyes wide as she half-hid behind her sisters. "Jewel's a fish anthro. It's okay, Jewelie. Come on out."
"Yeah, let's go play!" Pausing, Anitia looked up at the treehouse. "How do we get up there?"

Salem sighed softly as he came outside, leading his adopted toddler. "Come on Cato. Let's play in the treehouse. Hm...?" He blinked, finding himself behind quite the crowd. He hadn't expected this! "Wow... Heeeey... Noe! Anitia! Wow... You guys have gotten so big! It feels like forever sense I've seen you two! I've just been so busy... How have you two sweetys been?" He smiled brightly at the two little batfolk he had taken care of as infants. "Hello Ava. Anitia, where's your Mommy?" He smiled as he felt a squeeze at his hand.
Cato didn't know any of these people and if the spider mishap had seen them, he didn't remember... He had tightened his grip on his adoptive father's hand and cuddled a little closer, clutching Blank's egg tightly to his chest in his second set of arms. "Who're they Daddy...?"
"I used to take care of them here, Cato... Now they have Mommys to take good care of them, just like I take good care of you." He explained to his multi-armed toddler. "Now... Which treehouse do you want to go to? The Pirate Ship or the Ninja Lair?"
"Ninja Lay-er!" Came the quick response as the little one have a few hops.
Salem laughed softly and kneeled down so Cato could climb onto his back. "Where are all of you going? It'll be a little crowded if all of you go to the same one."
