Lame title, but for some reason wit escapes me.
I had an idea for another Jivvin, but this woman shoved him aside and demanded I figure her out.
So here she is...
Forgive the parts unfinished, I'm still fleshing. And feel free to point out inconsistencies, as I may have changed/fleshed something and forgot to edit it.

PART I. PHYSICAL
Full name:: Manjusha
Reasons for the name(s):: Name means “small” in Indian, which is the ethnicity of her original bond and it refers to the fact that she has always been a bit of a runt.
Sex:: Female
Apparent Age/Approximate Age:: Late 20s
If he/she was alive during the massacres, was he/she bonded? To whom? She was born a couple of years before the massacres, and was bonded to a solitary academic man, a Jivvin rights sympathizer.
Rank:: Daewl
If a Daewl, what is his/her one power?:: She is able to manipulate emotions into inanimate objects. The more powerful the emotion, the easier it is to siphon the emotion from the person and attach it to the object. This element does have its limitations and restrictions, however.
First of all, the strength and ease of the bonding depends on the phase of the object in question. For example, the act of attaching emotions to gas is easier for her to perform than liquid, and it is easier for her to bind to liquids than to solids. However, the emotion tends to fade quicker in liquid and especially in gases, where as solids, once infused, remain emotional permanently.
If she makes the object herself, it is much more receptive to taking on a human emotion. This applies to anything from homemade crafts to homecooked meals. Infusing teas and other home brewed drinks has become one of her specialties.
Size also plays a part. The smaller the object, the less emotion needed to reach the same ‘feeling’ as a larger object would take to reach the equivalent ‘feeling’. Plus, the smaller the object, the more intense Jusha can make the feeling without having to expend nearly as much energy as it would take to infuse an object with a larger volume. So, it’d be much easier to make an extremely emotional bead than to make a couch feel any sort of emotion, even if she spent the same energy on each.
Also, it is much more difficult to bond someone else’s emotions than to bond her own emotions, unless she allows herself to be empathetic towards the person. This basically causes her to absorb the full extent of the other person’s emotions, becoming a vessel of sorts, which, depending on the emotion, can be dangerous and potentially scarring. She rarely does this, as she is very defensive of her sanity thanks to a few botched attempts at this method in the past.
As a side ‘effect’ of her element, Jusha is amazing at reading other people’s emotions, even from a great distance (but a visual is needed). While intense emotions are easier to pick out, she is old enough that she has learned the nuances of people hiding emotions as well as identifying micro-emotions that people don’t even know they are experiencing. Just as she can identify emotions, Jusha can also open herself up to experiencing another person’s emotions, which she learned the hard way as a young Drada. It’s taken time, practice, and -a lot- of mistakes in order for her to learn how to protect herself from this by being able to control which emotions and how much she empathetically siphons from another person.
However, if her emotional barrier does fail for some reason or another, then she risks becoming overwhelmed by emotions. If this happens, she will break out in a fever and be unable to cool down her mind. The longer this goes on, the stronger the healer needs to be to bring her back to a state of mind where she can repair the barriers needed to keep her sane. The death of her last mate nearly drove her beyond repair, but thankfully Rae was able to work her magic and nurse Jusha back to some as semblance of health.
Skin Tone/Apparent Race:: Fair/Caucasian (with freckles!).
Height:: 4’10’’
Weight/Body Build:: Curvy for her height, but is healthy.
Hair:: Wavy and around her shoulders. Like her ear and tail markings, there are larger chunks of dark magenta and black, with silver highlights throughout all of it. Sometimes she wears it up in a messy updo or French braids, with beads and magpie-esque trinkets in her hair.
Eyes:: Silver
Ear colours/markings:: Base of dark magenta (like the mineral Almandine), a random array of medium to large black spots, and sprinklings of small, silver (dark and light) spots over it all.
Tail colours/markings:: Same as ears.
Peculiar Physical Traits::Her fingertips and palms are tinted magenta, giving her hand the appearance of dying cloth frequently or messily eating black cherries/berries too often. Her feet are the same way, as well (like a grape stomper, or whatever they’re called…)
Distinguishing Marks:: Her freckles, which are black, light silver, and dark silver. Also, her horn and nails are naturally black.
Health:: Ever since she was an egg, she’s been small and considered a runt, which is why she was given to the academic in the first place as the egg wasn’t prime enough to give to a royal. However, she hatched to be a physically healthy, albeit smaller than average, Jivvin. As a Quen she’s a hearty little thing, but if she ever does get sick, it usually is an emotionally based ‘illness’ that a healer must see to before she can battle it herself.
Senses:: Naturally keen, but she needs reading glasses, which she keeps hanging around her neck or in her hair at all times. Also, the few that know her well swear that she has a sixth sense when it comes to other people’s emotions.
Voice:: Neutral and as level as possible, to the point of sounding cold at times. However, when her guard is down it is commanding (via the emotion her voice carries with it), while remaining soft and feminine.
Mannerisms:: She’s a very covert people watcher and eavesdropper, especially emotionally. This is the reason why she takes long, meandering walks through the busiest parts of the Village and sits in the corner with the best vantage point at bars or restaurants. Also, she loves Village gossip, and can’t get enough of it.
Before she adopted her current, neutral disposition, she used to be very emotional and animated herself (which caused more trouble for her and other people than simply remaining neutral and controlling herself). She would talk with her hands and even her tail would get in on the action, swishing and flicking with emotion. Though mostly she’s stopped using hand motions when she speaks, her tail, ears, and hands sometimes betray her.
Clothes/shoes/accessories:: Layers of cool and neutral colors usually, but she has been known to wear warm colored clothing as well (as long as they don’t clash with her coloring). Jusha rarely will mix cool and warm colors (unless complimentary, of course), and prefers the cool sets simply because she feels that they balance her out. She prefers pants to skirts, but will layer the former (or tights) under the latter. Her sense of ‘style’ is eccentric for a wild, but she doesn’t care what people say of her clothes.
She wears a lot of odd jewelry (usually bracelets), which are made up of handmade, unique beads, charms, and braiding of all colors. A point of importance is that these odd pieces are never worn against her skin, but instead over clothing. For this reason, she wears fingerless arm gloves or arm warmers fairly frequently and has amassed a rather large collection of them for all seasons.
The only piece of jewelry that she is always seen wearing (and is always touching her skin) is the silver and cut garnet necklace that her original bond gave her before he released her.
Eating habits/mannerisms/tastes:: Generally picky. She has a passion for fruits, especially the oddball ones. Some of her favorites are black cherries, blood oranges, pomegranates, and kiwis, if she can get her hands on them.
Also, she hates seafood, or eating anything with its face still attached. Fowl is a safe bet, and steak she won’t eat unless it is cooked just right. Basically, she can be the Goldilocks of the culinary world. A lot of her eccentric eating habits come from negative memories and their edible representatives in her mind.
Keeping that in mind, she prefers to cook her own food most of the time because she understands that she’s a pain in the a**, but there are always exceptions.

PART II. GENERAL
Occupation/Social Status in Rank:: Tea shop owner/craftswoman. Her small tea shop is a pot by pot sort of cozy shop where Villagers can come in and relax in the many couches, chairs, and poofs in the rooms. The ‘tea rooms’ as she likes to call them also display many of her hand made wares along the shelves lining the walls. These wares, as well as the tea, are infused with emotions, which any Jivvin can feel (the strength of the feeling depends on how emotionally receptive the Jivvin is, though), which is why she brews the tea pot by pot. It is in this method that she can pick up on what each customer ‘needs’ to feel, be it safety or confidence, and then brews the tea with that emotion. As a side note, all the items in the tea rooms for sale are infused with only positive emotions, and generally one emotion per item. This way, the rooms should never introduce negativity to the customer.
Within her rank she prefers to stay out of the political and social (drama) areas. She thinks of herself as silent, but deadly. (Jusha would like to point out that she has wonderful personal hygiene and does not plan on becoming a murderer anytime soon.)
Views on Rank responsibilites:: That it is the Daewl’s own choice as to how to live their lives and use their elements, and that each must live with the consequences of their actions and choices. However, if Soyala asked her to do something for the rank, she’d have a hard time saying no.
Marital Status:: Single, mated before with no living children.
Where does he/she live?:: In the backrooms/the upstairs of her small tea shop.
Political Thoughts/ Views of Ranks and Vhaid:: After figuring things out the hard way, she’s learned to try and remain as neutral as possible. Even if that means sacrificing her pride while appearing ‘slower’ than she actually is as a Daewl or as a Jivvin to keep out of trouble, then she’ll do it. Therefore, she rarely vocalizes her side in political matters, and when she does, her words are always chosen carefully. That being said, she supports Soyala as her rank’s most powerful individual and therefore its leader, and she trusts in the judgment of the Council members, though not blindly. Any other thoughts or opinions pertaining to the delicate matter of Soyala are kept to herself.
Beliefs/ Values/ Strength of Beliefs:: She believes in balance and neutrality. What is love without hate? Birth without death? Light without shadow? Therefore, she does not hold animosity towards those considered to be ‘evil’ or act in such a manner that would cause them to be labeled as such. She takes the bad with the good, but has a tendency to deal out bits of karma as she sees fit.
What is his/her usual disposition?:: Her usual disposition varies depending on who she is around and what their moods are because it’s been a long time since she’s been able to drop her guard and act on childish impulses. Generally, she’s reserved, quiet, and thoughtful. This is especially true when around other people, but when she’s alone she allows herself to relax, a little. Rarely is she in any sort of negative mood.
Optimist/ Pessimist? :: Realist. She hopes for the best, but prepares for the worst.
Confident/Self-conscious? :: Confident, but humble.
How does he/she feel about his/her appearance? :: She used to have a large sore spot about her height, but now it’s merely a mild inconvenience at times. No longer is she ashamed to ask for help reaching things!
Most important possession:: The silver and cut garnet necklace her bond gave her before releasing her.
Talents :: Cooking, brewing tea, weaving/sewing, reading people’s emotions.
What is a normal day like for this Jivvin?:: She’ll usually wake up obscenely early and do some stretches before going on a walk through the village and market. When she returns home, she eats breakfast, showers, and makes heself presentable for her shop, which she then opens between 6 and 7:30am, usually. Business is never really booming, but she has groups of loyal customers that come in anywhere from daily to weekly. During this time she will work on a commission or craft of some sort (usually knitting or jewelry making) and eavesdrop on her customers emotionally and otherwise. She has a love for gossip and if she lived outside the Village, probably would become addicted to Soap Operas. Of course, she keeps this sort of habit fiercely hidden. On the occasions that she is asked advice from her customers, she tries to offer it in as little words as possible on her behalf. Unfortunately, the advice is not always in the best interest of the customer. It is not advice that will ever lead to a negative outcome, but it is also not always the smoothest path to choose. After all, bumpy roads produce more emotional situations and drama for Jusha to get to listen to later. Because of her quiet nature, she has a reputation for being a wonderful listener, which she definitely loves to do. During lunch, she’ll take a small lunch break while keeping an eye on her shop, and she usually ends up closing from 5pm to 7pm so that she can cook, relax, and eat a dinner. The shop reopens at 7pm and then finally closes at 10pm, or earlier depending on what Jusha feels is best. If she does close early, she always leaves a note up with an explanation why. After closing, she cleans up the shop and depending on how tired she is, she may go out for a drink (glass of wine, usually) of her own at a bar to people/emotion watch. Afterwards she goes to sleep.
What is a normal rainy day like for this Jivvin?:: Same as above only with no walk (unless she needs to pick up something from the market or another shop) and more work on commissions.
Greatest Fear:: Soyala utterly snapping and trying to build a Daewl army.
What does he/she want most?:: Love, but she’d never admit this.
Major Goals::
1. To hone her element and continue to become stronger.
2. To stay out of trouble, both politically and otherwise.
3. To better her skills as a craftswoman.

Significant Other/Relationship:: None since her ‘childhood’ sweetheart died.
Who does he/she live with?:: Herself and an abnormally wise and old cat named Clockwork, for his odd mannerisms. One could set their clock to them.
Who does he/she spend the most time with?:: Her regular customers and the staff at her regular bars/restaurants/shops. However, none are close relationships, and she never really lets anyone in emotionally anymore.

Best Friend/Rank/Current Status:: Clockwork. Commander of the left side of the bed and the fluffy armchair in the corner, depending on the time of day. Yes, it’s sad, but true.
Feelings toward animals:: She likes them, and finds them curious as creatures driven by instinct.
How does he/she view his/her family?:: She doesn’t have a family.
How does he/she view his/her friends?:: She doesn’t really have any close friends.

How does his/her friends view them?:: Her customers view her as a wonderful listener, who is quiet but always polite and considerate of others’ feelings. They’re amazed sometimes at how even though she is a bit cold/quiet/Daewlish, she is able to know exactly what to say or do to make someone feel better (or worse).
