~Sol~ A figure was crouched on a double story building top, overlooking the street below. The figure's attire was odd to say the least, all black with a black ski mask, though that was not so weird when one considered that the figure was actually a thief. After all, normal people don't dress in all black, hide their faces, sneak onto rooftops, and start cutting open the roof to get into the currency exchange below.
There was another figure, though this one was merrily walking on the streets below, face exposed to the world. This was JD, dressed in tan fatigues, and a motorcycle riding jacket. He had his uniform on under this outfit, but wasn't anticipating any trouble... that is, until he saw a masked head peek over the rooftop in front of him.
Sighing, he ducked into the alley next to the currency exchange and, after checking to make sure nobody was looking, stashed his riding jacket and donned his "mask". The mask was really not a mask, more of a bandana with eyeholes that covered part of his face, but it did the job. Gloves were next, and with that, he was ready to go in his uniform.
Spotting a drain pipe on the building, JD had his way up. He ran forward and jumped at the pipe, grabbing it and quickly monkey-climbing up it until his head was even with the rooftop. From there, he shifted his grip to the roof-edge, as he watched the thief.
The thief, assured that he was alone and safe, was focused on removing the air conditioning unit in front of him, so he could sneak down into the vents and not be caught breaking in. Just as he finished moving the rest of the unit to the side, his world went dark as a sharp pain shot across the back of his skull. The last thing he saw, albeit hazily, was JD kneeling over him to see if the thief really was out. He was, leaving JD as the only conscious person on the rooftop.
JD began to searching the man, producing several rudimentary tools for breaking in, nothing that would have been any use to JD. He was taking his time, confiscating the man's cell phone and looking it over, and didn't realize that the silent alarm in the building had been tripped several minutes ago.

Fennix "Fen" Tenger Fen was going down a near by ally with a fairly large bag filled with food over his shoulder which he had just stole non to subtly; Which was why the cops got the scene fairly quickly and where trying to make their way up quietly, so they could try and suprise the "theif".

~Sol~ JD froze upon hearing the not-so-quiet clicking noise of an officer's gun, and wasn't disappointed when he turned and saw said gun being level at him. "You've got the wrong guy, I stopped him from breaking in." he said slowly and calmly, pointing to the unconscious thief.
"I ain't one of the heroes who can heal, so might I suggest lowering your weapon?" he asked, staring pointedly at the gun. If the officer didn't lower the weapon, then JD knew he had two options. Take the gun out of the equation, and then either fight the cops, or flee. Fleeing seemed like the best option to him, especially when he didn't know how many cops there were on the streets below.

Fen decided to just hide out of sight since he didn't feel like fighting a whole bunch of cops, not that they could even do much too him. He just watched as now as some H.A.M.M.E.R agents were heading inside the building.
(Hammer is the group that took over most of what Shield used to do after the Secret Invasion)

~Sol~ Swearing mentally as the cop didn't move and even more began to arrive, JD decided it was high time he left. In what looked like a flash, the firing pin inside the gun was bent so as to make the gun useless, except for possibly pistol whipping somebody.
Safe from that cop but not wanting to stick around for more, JD took off. He ran to the edge of the building, away from the cop, and jumped out, stepping on bright indigo colored rectangles, using them as steps to get up to the top of the nearest building.
Once he was up top, he ducked to hide himself, and instead looked at the cops using a small mirror he kept in a pocket. He could only hope they wouldn't try to pursue him, or else he would be forced to flee across the city, which would only end up with him being lost.

Fen was suprised to see someone walking on flying indigo platforms Great they are not going to give up, and he had to pick the same building. So he waited as the agents split up to use different entrances and when one got close enough Fen came out, grabbed the man and then threw him through a wall of a random building. After he grabbed his bag and took off before more came this way. He better appreciate that distraction

Seeing the cops still coming after him, JD moved the act quickly, so he could get away. That is, until he saw one of the men suddenly get thrown through a wall... which meant somebody was either on his side down there, or somebody was simply attacking cops.
Either way, he was going to use the opportunity to bolt. So, he headed to the other side of the building, away from the guy who was tossed, and dove off, headfirst. Another rectangle appeared, and he pushed himself off of it, giving himself a bit more forward momentum, and enabling him to hit the next roof and roll safely. Once there, he pulled the mirror move again, wanting to know if he was being followed, before he would simply flee completely.

All the H.A.M.M.E.R. agents rushed towards their comrade in the now broken wall. Fen moved quite quickly away from the scene making sure not to be scene by any of the agents.

Waiting until just the right moment, JD took off away from the scene, not looking back until he was several blocks away. Once he was, he dropped off the rooftops and into an alley, where he changed out of his 'hero gear' and into his street clothes.
