"Okay...food food food...." poke shrugged her shoulder to make sure her backpack was on good and secure, and kept up her walk around the park in search of something she could munch on. It was a quiet day today, with blue skies and warm sunshine all around. It was a pleasent feeling to have the sun on her back, and she could imagine that her egg would be enjoying the feeling as well.

Tenko sat on a bench in the shade of trees with her Squirtle, Cloudears. They were enjoying relaxing in the pleasant weather. Then, the smell of fresh food from the vendors wafted towards them. Cloudears didn't care either way, but Tenko began to drool. "That smells delicious!" She tried to pick up Cloudears, but he dug her claws into the bench. He just wanted to lounge here. Eventually, Tenko gave up. "Okay, be that way. I won't force you to do anything you don't want to. I'll see you later."Tenko saw Poke while she was trying to decide what vendor to buy from. "Hello, there! Do you come here often? Everything looks so good."

About the same time tenko did, poke began to smell the enticing aroma of food around the corner, as well as notice a little squirtle on the bench and it's owner"
"hi" poke responded when she talked to her. "um, I guess I come here sometimes...specialy for the food and greenery. And your right... god I'm hungry...oh hey, are those them little octopus bally thingies?" poke pointed to one of the vendors that were cooking takiyaki (I think thats how it's spelled/called?)

((Takoyaki - Tako means Octopus. Just for fun, I'll tell you Ika means Squid))
Eienna (holding her egg carefully) and Coty walked into the park. She was still rather upset that she had missed a chance to make friends, but here was another opportunity.
She coughed hard a few times, hiding her face as not to attract attention to it.
Turning around again, she surveyed the scene. Ugh, but she hated trying to meet people!! She hoped someone might take an interest in HER.

"ah..hello?" she asked the girl, not sure what she was doing now that the girl had her back to poke.

[Takoyaki is the proper name for them, says Google. I like Yakitori myself. X3 Never tried Takoyaki, but I assume it's along the same lines as the octopus I tried before. Very, very rubbery. It wasn't bad, it was weird though. XD And I'd had this OOC junk typed out before Eienna posted, so here it stays to restate what's already been answered?]
[Timeline wise, I'm assuming that this is happening after our Beach RP, Poke.]
"Lord, Daikirai, will you stop eating so fast? You're going to choke on the damn thing."
The scolding fell on deaf ears, and the hot dog vendor laughed loudly as the silver Eevee wolfed down the hot dog in a matter of seconds. After a swift search of the ground for any crumbs he'd dropped, he looked up to Yuki with a lick of his maw. He stared a moment, ~I want another one.~
"You're kidding, right?" Yuki rolled his eyes, but handed the vendor over payment for a second for the Eevee, and held the frank out of the greedy little Pokemon's reach as he guided them over toward one of the benches. "Here." He said, tossing the food alongside him on the bench, before taking a bite of his own. Hopefully he wouldn't have to swallow his whole just to keep Daikirai from the rest of it.
Just for good measure, he placed his bag between them. Of course, the Egg inside couldn't protect him, but at least there was some sort of barrier. He was going to be broke if all Pokemon ate like this, maybe it was already time for him to look into PokeChow cooking lessons.
~What can I say? Humans are good for their cooking.~ He'd hurried to follow Yuki away from the stand, hopping up to the bench and sinking his teeth into his food.

Eienna turned around, a wry grin on her face, calling out to the Eevee. "You like to eat people too, huh?" she laughed.
Turning to Poke, and suddenly nervous again, she tried to tell her name but it wouldn't come out. "Uhm....hi." she said.

((thanks guys BD))
for a minute, poke was wondering exactly what the girl was talking about, untill she looked to see that yuki was sitting on the bench with his egg, and daikiari was hopping up to. She had to amit, seeing the cute fluffy eevee stuffing his face full of hotdog was very, very cute.
When the girl responded to her, she was surprized to see how..nervous she was. Poke hadn't a clue as to why. Mabye she was just a shy person. "hello, my names poke, whats yours?"
The smell of food was to good to pass up now. While introducing herself, she walked over to the vendor, and asked for a few sticks of takoyaki. Once she had then, she grinned and took a hole ball off the stick, and waved to yuki while trying to shout a hello, but was only able to garble out something inaudible.

Eat people? He didn't eat people. ~Of course not.~ He had growled out between his chewing, ~Humans are not worth eating.~ Only the food they prepared, as far as he was concerned. Other Pokemon, however... Some of those were excellent for eating.
"You say that, and yet you seem to love sinking your teeth into me." Yuki muttered. Looking past the girl who'd spoken to Daikirai, Yuki noticed Poke and offered a wave. "Afternoon."
Those few seconds were all that was needed for Daikirai to determine that his Trainer had dropped his guard, and he'd lunged for the remaining food in his hand.
"Augh!" Yuki shouted, dropping the food - much to the Pokemon's satisfaction - and quickly sticking a finger into his mouth. In the Eevee's enthusiasm, he'd taken some skin with him. "Stupid glutton." He grumbled a bit incoherently, still trying to keep his finger - mainly, the blood seeping from it - out of sight.

"Eienna." she returned, a smile forming. Well, that's one introduction over with. She followed Poke, thinking perhaps she had found a new friend. Coty came over to "shake claws" with the new person, and Eienna hugged her egg close, pleased that at least one barrier was broken.
The commotion off to the side caught her attention for a moment. Boy, that's one surly Eevee, she thought. That's not what I thought they'd be like at all.

"ah, nice to meet you Eienna" poke managed to swallow her food, and offered one of the sticks of octopus to the girl. She also bent down to shake the sandslash's claw. "wow, thats a nice sandslash you got there" she commented, and also noticed that she had recieved an egg from the PC. "How goes taking care of the egg?"
A shout lead poke to turn around in time to see the eevee making of with yuki's food, and half his finger for that matter. She scratched her head in wonder as to exactly why the pokemon was so aggressive. Shrugging, she walked over and presented one of her sticks to yuki, while shoving the rest of one in her mouth. She needed to get some more of these...

Eienna accepted the stick quite happily. "Oh, thanks! And thanks for the compliment on Coty. I do have to tell you, though, that he's not so much mine as he is my friend. He's never been in a ball at all." She nibbled on the stick, liking to make it last. "The eggy...." she paused, thinking. "I'm not certain, but I hope I'm doing a good job. I'm so klutzy I'm afraid I'll scramble it before it hatches, but that hasn't happened so far. Do you have one?"

Gulping down the rest of what had been Yuki's food, Daikirai sniffed around the bench a moment for crumbs, before jumping down to make sure nothing had fallen through the cracks.
"You can't possibly still be hungry..." Yuki murmured to himself, removing his finger from his mouth and examining it carefully. Apparently it met his approval, and he rested his hand in his lap. By accident, the movement jarred the PokeBall on his belt - something he hadn't yet really adjusted to carrying on his person - and in a flash of red light he found his newest addition staring at him.
Arashio, as he had been named the night before, thankfully acted less aggressive than Daikirai. That is, part of the time. When food was involved, that could quickly change.
And as the Poochyena soon realized, food was involved. Pink nose twitching as it picked up all of the delicious scents around them. Gaze darted around a moment from where he sat, settling on the Takoyaki that Poke was offering Yuki. In one swift move he jumped up and snapped it out of her hand. In two chomps it was gone, stick and all.
Yuki had reached out for it, only to retract his hand just as quickly when the Pokemon had helped himself. "Uh. Thanks?" He managed to smile a little, "I guess this is what I get, we hadn't had lunch yet." He supposed that the Poochyena had an excuse anyway, until a few days ago it was fending for itself. Daikirai should know by now that his food was guaranteed to come to him. "He didn't get you, did he?" He questioned, hoping that Arashio hadn't grabbed her fingers in the steal.
He gave a short laugh when he overheard Eienna stating her worries. "Believe me, if we haven't killed ours yet, I doubt you've got anything to worry about..." He cast a sideways glance up at Poke, "After a few mornings ago in particular, at least."

"Looks like you'll be needing these."
From behind, the thief came up while holding several sticks of takoyaki in his good hand. He grinned weakly, and somewhat slyly, for a few moments before looking at everyone that had gathered there. There was just one new face, as far as he could tell; a young trainer with a Sandslash.
Tailing Blade, were Fenrir, Hermes, and Kagutsuchi, who were all just enjoying the fresh air and green grass. The linoone was a little further behind, seemingly busying himself with something on the ground. As for the other two, they took some interest in the other pokemon that were out of their balls as well.
"Woaah, an Eevee!" exclaimed the Cyndaquil; Blade's newest addition that he managed to catch earlier that day, "They change depending on stuff around them right? So if I set him on fire, will he turn into a Flareon!? That would be awesome!"
"No you dolt," growled Fenrir, "And I bet you if you try setting him on fire, you'll get that long nose of yours nipped right off."
