I can't believe we don't already have a thread like this. And if we do, then I'm blind.
Sooo, what body mods do you have? Which ones do you want? Why don't you have the ones you want? What is your opinion on things like this in general?
I've had my lobes pierced since I was 6 months old. Got my nose done in feb. It hurt like all hell. And bled a lot too. Had to get it repierced yesterday because my retainer fell out and the hole closed up by the time I got out of work. I wanna get so many more, but I have to limit it to the ones I can hide easily. I'm thinking tongue, septum, and a bunch of different ear piercings. I was seriously contemplating a smiley because you don't see them too often, but everyone talked me out of it saying it would look bad. I might reopen the idea in the future. As soon as I have the money, I'm going for a tragus.
As for tattoos, I don't have any yet because I'm waiting until I lose a bit more weight. I have quite a few of them planned though.
I have some friends who are into scarification, but that's not really for me.
I'm also a fan of fun hair colors. Before I dyed my hair black, I had it blue for a while. Then last year I bleached my bangs and dyed them turquoise. Right now it's just black, but if I ever get a good job where they don't care about these types of things, I wanna try a pink/purple combo for a while.

Wow, first reply? o.o At the moment I only have my lobes pierced, but when I get old enough I'll get snakebites through my college days, plus I don't know how many tattoos.
I've always thought that facial piercings were attractive, and I state that fact quite often to those who ask me what I find attractive wink

Like a year ago, I thought "septum" piercings were scrotum piercings. I was like WTF? for a while. sweatdrop
I don't have any body mods... I would love an ear stud though.

ive got 2 lobe piercings in each ear and my belly button is also pierced.
i would love to have my nipples done but my fiance doesnt seem too big on that idea so we will see lol.
i want to get a tattoo of a pocket watch with the time being the date of my mothers birth and 2 smaller hands being the date of her death. i want to get that on my side so im going to wait until alfter i have my second kid for that one
i used to bleach streaks into my hair like that girl from x-men. ive been meaning to bleach some streaks in again but i dont know where, plus i dont want dyed hair for my wedding so im going to wait until after that.

Both my ears are pierced. My lobes used to be gauged at a 4, but I took em out and they won't close up past a ten. I have three piercings in the cartilege in both ears as well. I don't have any other piercings, though.  And here's my tattoo. ^^ It's so freakin' beautiful, I love it! I have some homemade scarification on my legs, but I don't think that really counts because I wasn't in my right mind when I did it.

That my friend, is a nice tattoo. I love how vivid the blue is. I'm hoping to get industrials in both ears soon, and the tragus from before.

It's the part of your ear between the bottom lobe and the upper cartilage. Like, the little tag thingy? It's small and thick.

I don't have any body mods right now, and I won't until I can afford it.
I do want mods though :3
Tats: A full sleeve, consisting of designs made by the people that I hold dearest in my life, an Egyptian Vulture, Cthulhu, and any other designs I will make in the future. I have a piece I already have designed for my chest. A nautical star with broken steampunk mechanical wings and a Banner with a Latin phrase.
Piercings: Labret. I'm afeared of piercings and possible infections that accompany them. o.O;;;

Oh my god, you just gave me an idea for a Cthulhu tramp stamp. That would be killer.
If you're pierced by an experienced professional, and you take care of it properly, there's no need to worry about infections. A labret would probably be more to take care of than something on your nose or ear because it's in your mouth, but that also means it would heal faster.
I'm scared of surface piercings. I think they'd be excruciatingly painful. My nose was terrible and that's just cartilage and skin.

getting my belly button done hurt like hell XD though the guy messed up on it and did it slowly so i got to watch the needle poke out the other side. my sister got hers done the day before by a different guy and it hardly hurt her at all because it was so quick. ill probably never go back to that place again just because that one guy made it so painful and i never want to get him again. it only got infected once and that was because right before i gave my rats a bath some of them were laying down on it. other then that though everything went really well with it.

That shows how important it is to do your research before you get pierced. I probably won't be going back to the same place I got my nose done either.
