-It was a lovely day.. Warm, but not too muggy or searing, and Limbuko had been traveling haphazardly across the savannah. Until he'd found the river that was. Sparkling brightly in the sun, it was a cool little treat, and he'd paused to drink, finding himself drawn to the shade of the small trees that sprung up nearby afterwords.
The lilac god had settled himself, listening to the gentle sound of water as his eyes drew shut. And there he'd lazied for a handful of hours, only beginning to stir once more as the sun hit it's place at the top of the sky. His paws twitched, streching out mildly as he tried to convince his eyes open. Just a few more minutes...-

Whilst the lilac God was resting, the God of Fish was hard at work. That is, if you can call swimming up a river and talking to its inhabitants work. It had been a while since Bahari'nswi had visited this particular river, and so he was giving his creations that live in it some much needed attention. Although he cares about himself more than anything, his Domain is very important too, and so he always makes an effort to make sure that his creations are happy wherever they are living.
Going down the river, he eventually reached a point where it became much narrower, and it soon occured to him that he wouldn't be able to swim any further. Frowning, he swam to the surface and headed towards the bank. That was when he first noticed the purple lion that was lay by the river. Curious, he ducked back under the water, and swam to where the God was lay on the bank. His vision underwater was no different than what it was on land, so he could see the fellow male quite clearly from beneath the surface. He was terribly pretty for a male, much like he himself was. This was going to be a very interesting meeting.

-He streched further, further, mouth openning a wide yawn before finally those eyes opened, soft and contented sigh escaping the Pleasure god. His toes touched the water, and it made him want to feel the cool sensation on his tongue once more.
Lifting himself, he shook mildly, settling his fur and feathers once more, bright peacock spread haloing his face. Oblivious to the presence nearby, he took the few steps towards the water's edge, glancing down in an attempt to catch his reflection before he drank.-

When he saw that the purple male was coming in for a drink, Bahari'nswi thought it best to reveal himself. After all, it's not like he wanted to scare the pretty male. Before the male had the chance to crouch down towards the water, Bahari'nswi swam up to the surface, right where the purple male had just been looking.
Despite the fact that his mane was soaking wet, it somehow remained thick and curly. With one flick of his head, the wet fur no longer clung to his face, and instead fell to the sides. He raised a brow as he gazed over the purple male. It turned out that he was actually a God too, judging by the small horns and large feathers coming from his back.
"Good morning."

-Had he been more alert, Lim probably would have been more surprised by the face that had appeared instead of his own. But as the god rose from the water, his eyes widened simply wondering if he was still partly asleep.
It was a split second though, quickly pushed away as his look of surprise melted with a soft laugh, grin growing wide. This god, what he could see of him atleast was HUGE.
Like the greatest of kings his mirth was impressive, a mane that dissapeared into a seemingly endless flow into the water behind him. And those whiskers... quite impressive, quite lovely.
Shifting in position, standing straighter, he watched the god curiously, returning his greeting with his own chipper one.- "What a delightful surprise. Hello!"

The large God casually made his way to the shore and climbed on to land. Once there he stood up straight and faced the other God, resisting the urge to shake off his coat. Instead he arched the long wing spines that extended from his back, allowing the sun to pass through the pink skin between the spines, bathing his body in a soft coral-pink glow. His coat was very shiny, and the water seemed to run off it rather than being absorbed. He was quite a sight, but then, so was the male he was facing.
Bahari'nswi didn't know how to feel at first, once he had taken all of the other God in. He was very handsome, and his colours were just beautiful. If anyone could rival his own magnificence, it was this God. Of course, the God of Fish knew that there was no one more fabulous than him, so it wouldn't do any harm to befriend someone almost as fabulous as him.
"We are Bahari'nswi, the magnificent God of Fish."

-He was even larger and more marvoleous as he came further out the water and lifted his unique wings. It was beautiful, the way the light shone through the transparent pink skin. But as he learned the domain, the appearence made more sense to him, though that didn't make it any less impressive.-
"Ahhh, I couldn't have chosen a better word myself. Quite magnificent.." -He stepped forward, better taking in the details of his form, fluttering his feathers gently.- "I'm Limbuko, god of Pleasure."
"What a lucky treat I decided to visit the river today."

Pleasure? That was a very interesting Domain indeed, much more broad than Bahari'nswi may have first thought. Pleasure was something that the God of Fish would experience everyday, since it was simply a pleasure to be him.
"It's nice to meet you Limbuko." The God smiled as Limbuko confirmed that he was indeed magnificent. It's not like he really needed any confirmation of that fact, he just liked when others were aware of it. "You are quite fabulous yourself. We have never seen one as beautiful as you. Except for Ourselves of course."

-They were kindred spirits in a way, both vain glorious and proud, and while it would have been easy enough to argue the fact with the God of Fish, Lim felt no need, being well versed in the skill of telling others what they wanted to hear. It wasn't even hard actually, because while Lim thought he too was the most beautiful, he could not deny how magestic and grand Bahari was.
And that charming way he spoke... it only endured the Pleasure god more, drawing his smile wider and his step even closer.- "Thank you, I take that as a great compliment." -He mused with pride, tail swishing as grapes swayed back and forth.- "It is a splendid day to have lured the two of us out. I bet you were working, no?"
"One should always do their best to perform their duty to their domain. But then.. there is always time for a little fun too I should think."

Bahari liked this male. A lot. He felt a bond forming quickly between them, despite the fact that Limbuko appeared to be much younger than him. Age was meaningless to Gods though, so it didn't matter one bit. The pair seemed very much alike, and the God of Fish was eager to find out exactly how alike they were. If they were as similiar as he had judged them to be within the first few minutes of them meeting, this was sure to be a very beautiful friendship. Literally.
When Limbuko spoke, Bahari nodded and motioned to the river. "We don't see Our fresh-water creations as much as We see Our salt-water creations." He frowned lightly as he considered the reason for this. "We do not like to travel too far in-land unless We have to. The sun is not Our friend, despite how lovely We look in it."
When the conversation turned to fun, Bahari'nswi nodded and smiled, unable to take his eyes off the handsome God. He felt almost the same way he felt whenever he saw his own reflection, something which he could happily stare at for days. "We bet that your Domain is lots of fun. Is it?"

"That's a shame" -He mused thoughtfully, agreeing, though he wondered if Bahari's pelt didn't shimmer beneath the water as well. Perhaps he'd get to see, but reguardless, he offered mildly.- "If you'd be more comfortable in the water I'd be happy to join you in the river. I've always loved the feel of water rolling over my back."
"Oh and quite fun most the time." -He nodded and laughed gently.- "I get to play around and try to make others smile. Sometimes it takes a little more trouble and work to please those I run into, but I like a challenge now and then, and it's always worth the reward."

"That's nice of you. Very nice. However, We wouldn't want your pretty feathers to get all wet." Limuko's feathers were truely lovely, and the way in which they were coming from his back was quite unique. Bahari'nswi wanted to get a closer look, so he walked forward and then peered over Limbuko's shoulder. They were almost like the tail feathers of a bird, except they were coming from his back. Without even asking, he lifted a paw in order to delicately stroke one of the feathers. It was the softest thing he had ever felt, causing him to smile again.
As the conversation continued, Bahari'nswi walked back to the front of Limbuko, before gracefully flopping down into a sitting position right in front of him. "What a nice job, to make others happy." He mused. "Our Domain tends to only make Us happy. But then, Our happiness is the most important thing to Us anyway."

-A purr rattled through his form as his feathers were stroked, the subtle action sending a pleasant tingle down his spine. His feathers actually dried pretty fast, faster than most god or raptor wings, be he appreciated the curtesy, and nodded softly, looking up at the larger god as he settled to sit.- "Alright then, but if you get too uncomfortable let me know."
-A sly smile crossed his face, like a child who'd eaten too much candy at Bahari's musing, finding it easy to confess to him.- "I can truthfully say I derive as much or more pleasure from pleasing others, so it's hardly a selfless act."
-In fact.. there were a few times were he'd taken pleasure at the expense of someone else... But he was getting better.. and why ruin the mood with such thoughts, tail twitching, he mused a little himself.- "It must be nice to have so many 'children' though.. I've got a pretty large handful myself, but you have thousands.. hundreds of thousands I'd bet! It must be pleasant to get to spend so much time with those you're so bonded with?"

Bahari'nswi had never really thought of his creations as 'children', although now that he thought about it it did make sense. He had lived through countless lifetimes, and each time he was reborn, he would have completely new ideas for fish to create. On the downside though, throughout each lifetime, some of his creations would become extinct. There was no way for him to recreate the exact same thing twice, he could only make things that were similiar. He was never happy when he learned about the extinction of his creations, but it was something that would always pass quickly.
With a small chuckle, he shook those thoughts from his head. "Our creations quarrel like children. Some will even eat others, despite Us telling them to instead feast upon the water mammals that share the rivers and oceans with them." He shook his head. "There are millions, some of which We don't see for years. If We were a father, We wouldn't be a very good one."
Bahari'nswi then raised a brow. "Are you a good father?"

-His grin grew softly as the fish god spoke of his domain, picturing in his head scenes to illustrate the words. And he suddenly felt quite guilty thinking about the number of fish he'd eaten in his life. Not even to mention how many his jungle children ate! It was a secret he'd keep, especially now that he felt so guilty about it. Nonetheless he responded softly, musing.- "They never do listen do they?"
-The second question drew forth another pang of guilt, but he pushed that away optimistically, thinking of the better experiences he'd had in that area. Looking towards the blue sky, he answered mildly.- "Well.... maybe, maybe not? I do have some children that I have never visited, despite knowing of their presence.. and I'm sure I have a few somewhere that I'm completely unaware of. So on that hand I would say no."
"But there are others that I have spent much time with. And if I ever felt the tug that my children needed me, they'd be my first priority for the time. So perhaps I'm an alright father?"
"I'm far too fickle and full of wanderlust to settle in one place and be a proper father. But hopefully I do a good enough job? I would hate to think that something I created could be filled with too much displeasure or sorrow."
