Banten Village is a key aspect of Nabari No Ou's story. Three of the main characters are from this village; including 六条 壬晴, Rokujō Miharu,
相澤 虹一, Aizawa Kōichi, and 雲平・帷・デュランダル, Kumohira Dyurandaru Tobari.

Banten is a small village that is struggling with it's place in the world of Nabari.
To the outside world it is just the place where people go to school, live their lives, and pass through without incident.
However, in the world of the ninja (Nabari) the high school is where Tobari has his center of operations, and the rumored location. of the secret art, Banten's Engetsurin.
