HOLY CRAP, GUYS THAT WAS AMAZING.
I just got home from the Fathom DCI marching semi-finals. Five hours of extreme, intense, and all around amazing marching. I can not believe what I saw, really. I have to say that the Cavaliers are definitely one of my favorite groups. I couldn't choose, though. Out of the 22 bands that showed up, I don't think any of them deserved "placements." They were all too amazing in their own special ways.
I was not there in Indianapolis, but I did get to watch the showing live in a nifty movie theater. <3 middle row, dead center. It was great.
Did anyone else see it? Have you ever been to a Fathom event? Oh. My. Gosh.

Oh I heard about that Fathom DCI Marching Contest...some of our band members went to see it in the movies! biggrin
