Yawning slightly, Sunfire stretched as she emerged from her small den near the springs under Father Tree. Looking around, she considered what to do tonight. Hunt, or explore... or maybe even just lay around. She wasn't really hungry, but it was a nice night... not really one for lying around doing nothing. Tail wagging a bit, she nodded to herself. All right then! Explore it was. Though she had been here for several days, she had yet to see everything and so set off in no particular direction, ears perked up as she walked.

Zuberi was up early that day, he was interested in seeing the new members that had joined the pride. THere had been several coming here and there..... and there was all sorts of new pups.
He was right around the Father tree when he spotted her. Her red fur stood out brilliantly against what he would think of as a rather drab background. It was brilliant, he decided he must talk to her. He sauntered over to her, he had gotten rather gutsy as he got older. "Hi there," he said "You are new to the Peke Na correct?"

Sunfire blinked at that. "Hi," she replied then quickly, with a smile for the young male. She hadn't seen him before, but was quick to be friendly to everyone. "Not ... really new, but I haven't been here very long. What about you?"

"I have been here since I was born, my mom joined right before she gave birth to my siblings and I." he smiled, he knew this pack quite well, but with his personality that wasn't necessarily a good thing. He often ventured out to see knew things and meet new others.
In all his travels though he had never met someone with her pelt. It was very striking to him. "What brought you to the pack?" he asked. He was always interested in knowing what brought different members to the pack. He loved pack life but he felt a desire to know more about the outside.

"My parents came here as well," she answered easily. "Though it was after I had been born. But I followed them and so ... here I am." She shrugged, with a quick smile. She hadn't really had anywhere else to go, and she liked it here, so had decided to join the pack as well.

Strong listened carefully as she talked, "That sounds like a reasonable reason." he said when he finished. "Well I know you have been around for awhile but how about I show you around." He really didn't know what he could show her that she didn't already knwo but he had a intense desire to get her alone.
He smiled suddenly glad that he had opted to get his own den not to long ago. With him and all his siblings growing at a great rate the den he grew up in was getting awfully crowded, perhaps his den could be the end point of his tour.

Sunfire blinked but then nodded at that. "That sounds good to me... there -are- some places I haven't seen here, though I've explored on my own a bit. I was thinking of exploring tonight anyway." She stepped up closer to him. "Maybe you know some secret places."

"Well lets start in the forest." he suggested. He had spent a bit of time in the forest before and it was interesting, there was sometimes fallen trees and various things that one could look at. There was also a chain of caves back there that no one called home to. Perhaps this could be a secret place.
He gave her a quick nudge before heading off in the direction of the forest turning and adjusting his speed so that she stayed with him.

She kept up with the male easily - looking around as they went. Sunfire hadn't been this way before and so she was curious about -everything-. "Ooh hey, what's this type of moss? Do you know?" she asked, nosing at a green patch of growth on one tree.

Strongear stopped and looked down at the moss in question. He sat thinking for a moment, he had seen the moss in other place but he had no idea what kinda of moss it was, in fact he was unaware that there was different kinds of moss, being in such a hot area that they were it wasn't often they saw greenery.
"You know I am not sure...." he trailed off, "Its one of the few things that grows around here." He looked around the area that they were in wondering what he could show her that would be interesting, "Oh come this way" he said, as he turned and headed towards a make shift den that was not far, it wasn't a traditional den, but instead a cave that was created by fallen trees, he knew there wasn't anything to fear these trees had been here like this for ages and seemed fairly secure.

Sunfire laughed softly at that, but nodded. "Oh ... that's okay, I was just curious. It's interesting to see all the different kinds of plants and things," she said. Then she turned to follow him - peering inside that sort of tree-cave. "Hey this is neat... a secret place?"

Strongear was sure that others knew of this place, but he had never encountered another dog here. It was a great place to think, and he often came here to jus be. "I suppose you could call it a secret place, it could be our secret place." he smiled at her, his teenager urges begining to shine through his welcoming facade.
It seemed recently females caught his attention more then anything else he found it strange but exilierating, he turned towards the female his body language showing his thoughts more and more. "It's a great place really, back here there is a great bed, and there is all kinds of places to explore." he gestered around the den as he talked.

Her ears perked a bit at that ... catching the hopeful note to his voice. Good gods, he was young...but, really... she found that she didn't mind. No harm in encouraging him a bit, was there? "It could be," she replied with a sly little look.
Poking her nose inside, Sunfire looked around, and nodded. "It is pretty nice in here..>"

Strongear smiled, mostly to himself when the female played into his hopes, but then he felt ackward, he really hated this stage of life, being pulled several different ways and not always knowing what was right. "Well... I think it would be great, perhaps we can meet here sometime." he smiled at her.
He paused not wanting their visit to end but suddenly wanting to get away from the tree den that could perhaps their secret meeting place, "I am not sure what else to show you, perhaps we should head back towards father tree, maybe you could tell me more about your family while we go?"

And Sunfire understood that sudden awkwardness as well, smiling faintly. He was rather cute, in a way. "Sure," she replied easily - backin off a bit. Then she padded back off toward father tree. "I have a pretty big family ... lots of siblings, and some of -them- have pups, too."
