It's just been a bad movie week. Miss Cholie and I watched the Cell 2, which was horrible and then I just purchased Death Note:R movie today that is supposed to be through Ryuk's eyes, but it is so far is surprisingly lame.
They just took clips of the Death Note series and put them together with a few new scenes.
I hate when you get messed over by a DVD *laughs*
Has that ever happened to anyone else?

Aw~ I LOVE MoonChild! I finally got a copy last year for my birthday and I was so excited! Gackt-sama and Hyde-sama I thought were surprisingly very good. :3 I'm sorry you didn't like it though, and I feel ya when it comes to buying something you don't want. Anyway, I've never *purchased* a DVD and been let down. I don't buy them often. I have been let down by ones I picked out on Netflix though.

Anyway, I've never *purchased* a DVD and been let down. I don't buy them often. I have been let down by ones I picked out on Netflix though. EXACTLY! as for movies, i just use streaming sites xDD

Usually I am with you on the don't risk it thing, but it was cheap and I liked the Death Note anime. I will never risk again *still hasn't finished it*... mugoi_usagi <_< Personally I think any purchase of a Death Note thing is a bad purchase... lol

When I bought the live action Lupin III movie...it was horrible. Lupin looked like a 40 year old.

LOL. I'm kinda stingy when it comes to things like that, so I read reviews first to see if the movie was any good before I buy something. However, there was this one time I bought an anime called Voogies Angels at a convention, for like $5 and was like...why? afterward. I mean it was OK, but I could have bought like a new cell phone charm instead of that thing.

I finished it! It was actually pretty good! It was sort of like a re-cap but with extra goodies that weren't shown in the Anime like when L showed Raito the tapes and studied his reaction, and a awesome cemetery scene after you know who dies and Raito practically molests the grave.

I watched DN "Relight" as well! The beginning was rather disappointing, my sister watched all the anime, I hadn't seen it ( I read the manga) and I was like, "Is this exactly like the anime quicker?" And she said: "um.. yeah?" xD It did pick up at the end though, thankfully.
But luckily, though, I very rarely buy DVDs, and pretty much only with a gift card...

Likewise! I think you will appreciate it a bit more when you see the Anime. This movie was like a recap really. Kuroda Michiko-chan I watched DN "Relight" as well!
