So, I was thinking the RP thread could use a little RP that didn't involve a whole lot of joining and storyline. This is basically just going to be a simple, easy going lone wolf RP. Join if you wanna, and make it up as you go along.

I do want to have a few basic rules here.
1) Please don't godmode and make your character all powerful. No one likes it, and it makes the storyline that's developing way too predictable.
2) Keep OOC and IC separate. Completely. Your character is not you, and vice versa.
3) Keep it semi-realistic. I'm going to be okay with weird colours in the fur (blue and such) and maybe some piercings, but I don't want any magical wolves or wolves with wings.
4) Of course, follow Guild and ToS rules. Thanks!

If this wolf RP becomes really popular, I might make a Wolf Pack RP. We'll see how things go! But let's get a bit of background storyline:

Deep in the heart of the forested foothills beneath the huge, rolling mountains lies a land dominated by a powerful and wise creature: the wolf. The wolves here, though, have not lead the normal pack-oriented lifestyle of their cousins for many years.

No one truly knows why, but legend has it that many moons ago, one powerful, savage and unruly Alpha set about killing every other Alpha in the land, forcing all the packs to bow to him. After many years of struggle under his indefinite rule, his greedy heart lead to his demise.

Since, the wolves here have never returned to pack life. They will occasionally share a hunt and a meal with a neighbouring friend, but often their time is spent alone. In a world such as this, life is unbearably lonely, and it seems it will only be a matter of time until the packs begin to form again...

With that said, I will do the honours of the first post.

Artemis' deep green eyes peered through the thick, snow covered underbrush. The clearing beyond was empty, save for the few dips in the winter snow caused by elk or other wolves passing through. The wood was dead quiet; All the songbirds gone for the cold season just beginning to smother the land. The occasional popping sound of a stray animal stepping on a dried up old twig was all that permeated the dead air. Ears straining to hear hidden sounds as her eyes again scanned over the clearing, Artemis began to push her way through the brittle bushes and to the open area beyond.

The moon was just past full, waning back to nothingness, awaiting the chance to be reborn. It's slow day-by-day death sequence left Artemis feeling hollow. Hollow and lonely. She mourned the moon, and with it she mourned the knowing that someday she would join it in death.

Artemis' slender form was masked by the cloak of winter, as her fur was white as the snow itself. Around her muzzle and paws, amber stains from past meals lingered, the only telltale sign that the wolf was even truly there. She passed among the snow drifts like a phantom, caught somewhere between the world of the living, and the dead.
