I've been curious about this for a while.... Where do your screen names come from? Some of them tend to ring like real names, some are more like titles, and others are something totally random.
To open in fairness, Lyn Uridain is one of the main characters in a novel I'm writing-- she's a half-Elf empath.
Any stories from the rest of you guys? cool

Um... well I did play a little DnD and read a couple of dragonlance novels, and I wanted an elvish name for one of my characters and Lithanus seemed to fit.

mine is my Pen Name ^_^
for stories, art, etc. Not my Newspaper name ('cause they won't let me stressed ) but it will be! bwahaha.
Jisu- what most of my friends call me. it's short, simple, and to the point. besides, it's easy to hear someone yell "JISU!" down teh hallway instead of something like "ASHLEY!"
Mizu- japanese for water. i love water, it loves me, we get along pretty well like that. 3nodding

LynUridain Cool. Does it have a translation? lith, in latin is stone, the other I just googled and found to be ring. so, I guess you could say my name means stone ring

My name is from a story my friends and I are writing. It's called the Feanturies. It's about 5 girls who must fight evil to save so many worlds. We are much like elemental angels with demons in us, raging. We fight those inner demons and many of us pray to God to help us. My name in the story is Yashi. My demon side that torments me is Carchuluin.

wow lots of you guys put a lot of effort and thought into your names... i tried like three names before this and finally let my friend choose my name... but its close to my real name..victoria and most people call me tori anywho.. ta-da theres my name! xp

Well the reason my name is Angel_hacker is because... Well mostly I just love angels (Angel is also my name) and... I have no clue where hacker came from. I think it was because I was reading about code-breakers and hackers for the government at that time. Or maybe because I made a poem called hacker. So I really don't have a clue. Well however I got it I just liked the name and now it's the name I go by all the time.

Remus and Sirius are characters from Harry Potter, that I like. whee I wanted Prongs J. Potter, my nickname, but I didn't think of it at the time. smile
