So Crono, how was Taiwan? xd

sweatdrop In all honesty...I've never heard of the show either.

Edit: No wonder. It's on a premium channel here in the U.S.
Tempted to commit piracy to get a taste of it. Looks interesting.

A premium channel, huh... I kind of mentally assume that all Americans have cable and access to about 50 TV stations and therefore can watch pretty much everything. >.> But also this show got a lot of media coverage here, probably because of the Toni Collette factor. So I forgot that it probably wouldn't anywhere else...

Ah well, I'll give it a plug!

It's written by Diablo Cody (Juno), produced by Stephen Spielberg (or his company maybe, but I think I read somewhere that he came up with the idea for the show) and stars Toni Collette (Muriel's Wedding, The Sixth Sense, Little Miss Sunshine).

Tara (Toni Collette) has alternate personalities - a teenager called T, Vietnam war vet called Buck and a kind of 50s housewife called Alice. But the comedy is really... subtle? The show doesn't really make fun of her being crazy to get its humour, like, Tara's whole family just kind of gets on with things. This is exactly why I will never be a film/TV/book/anything reviewer. But I really do recommend it!

Commit piracy Arb! biggrin
