I gotta say, after the beating and banging between Robby Gordon and David Stremme toward the end of the race, I've pretty much decided that I've lost just about all the respect I have for Robby Gordon.
Fine, Robby got rubbed a couple times by Stremme. But, "rubbin' son, is racin'".
Coming over the radio and saying crap like, "The 12 is getting wrecked" is just asking for trouble. And after Robby rammed the back of Stremme a couple times, Robby completly deserved to get put into the wall by Stremme. Looks good on him if he can't keep his own damn temper in check.
After the Dakkar rally over the off season this year, I did have a new found respect for Robby after he finished third there. But after that it seemed like every time he opened his mouth on TV he was saying something stupid and hot headed again.

ehh, he's always been like that, that's why his team has went nowhere the last 4 years. If he didn't have to do everything his way, he would've probably still been in a good ride and his career would still be decent. He's an incredible driver whose problem is he has no self control.

I agree...but you have to remember that he is under a lot of pressure... he knows he can't keep this up... a torn race car for him literally means sandwiches for dinner again this week. Its a tough life style that does get to you. As for the tv talk..lol lets face it...the only time they even put the camera on him is when he gets spun..or wrecks...when was the last time not at a road coarse or daytona that he was interviewed... probably lowes when he was 3rd. Now for David..hell I listened to his scanner and he called Robby out... So would you be mad at him as well?

And they usually take a lot of good drivers out.

Shadow7983 he is his own worst enemy. robby that is. Yeah..he needs to merge fast before its too late... I say with either yates or redbull...They are the only 2 that are open that would consider it... DEI is losing backing so I wouldn't go if I was Robby...

Ehh..to be honest..although he is getting bashed a lot this year... he actually is one hell of a driver...don't forget his new hampshire win... and he has numerous top 10's at the governor tracks. His road skills are just a plus...

He's a very good driver. He is just extremely aggressive and stubborn. He won't drive for anybody else and because of that he will never have the wins and consistency he could have had. 2003 was a good example of what he could do driving with a decent team. He tends to push the envelope a little too much and has no self control.

Hard chargers are what made this sport...and they always will
