Late, yes, but it seems Nintendo finally fixed the problem with the ladder shades. They were supposed to have been sent out a month or so ago, but are just now being released.
Log into Animal Crossing and receive these summery shades from Pete!

i got mine today, i thought they were going to be white, i was shocked to see them in red.

I got 'em.
Nice Kanye West lookin' glasses.
I don't like that they're in that weird red though.
I'd prefer white.

Got 'em on the 8th or 9th.
Kinda like them, but they don't match with too many items.
Woulda been nice if they had a different color, too.
