But they have a weak argument. Quote: - Both Books contain a wedding - Both books have a sex on a beach scene - Both books have a character explain what it’s like to go from a human to vampir - Both books have the lead vampire character referring to their wife as ‘love’. I mean seriously? WTF? I can probably name you so many different books that has all of those aspects. This is so s**t. I thought someone was going to sue her for a good reason. Something that's sure to get her. Like, seriously? If this was the reason as to why Meyer is getting sued, L.J. Smith should come in too and sue her. I mean, seriously I've never seen such a weak case in my life. I'm completely disappointed in every way possible. I truly am.

This will be her SECOND lawsuit. If you all recall, she is also being sued by Nina Ricci for selling a perfume that looked exactly like their copyrighted perfume bottle.

She'll win the case. Pineapples is right, they have an extremely weak argument. Sex on the beach isn't uncommon. And a pet name for your wife? Not really that convincing.

The only part that would somehow let Jordan Scott win the case is: Quote: the passages in question involve few word-for-word similarities That's if they have both the copies of the book, and if the said passage is a whole sentence or longer. That's the only way Scott can win the case. But even with that, it's still highly unlikely. Not to be a stick in the mud or anything.

'Bout time. I think they got something wrong, though. . . Quote: “Breaking Dawn,” which came out in 2008, is the fourth book in the series of novels about a teenager, Bella Swan, caught in a forbidden romance with "vampire" Edward Cullen. The “idiot-based” books, which the publisher says have sold 70 million copies worldwide, are the basis for a movie series from Summit Entertainment.

Aww this is a really weak lawsuit though. sad This writer just sounds like they're out to get some publicity. I like how they're trying to act like Twilight is super extremely popular, though. Quote: The first film, “Twilight,” has earned more than $380 million at worldwide box offices How long as it been out now? The Dark Knight made that much in 10 days in the US alone. OH, and Harry Potter (you know how they're always comparing the two) made more than that in the first week worldwide. Sorry Stephanie Meyer, you got beat. 3 Quote: The “Twilight” books, which the publisher says have sold 70 million copies worldwide JUST the last Harry Potter book alone sold 44 million. I don't see why people even compare Harry Potter and Twilight. One is CLEARLY more popular and better written. Here's Stephen King saying what the rest of the world was thinking: Stephen King Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people. ... The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She’s not very good.
