She smirked as she saw him eyeing her up - afterall, she had the distinct look of a rogue, but yet, here she was claiming to be a princess. Though, she wasn't a liar, everything she ever said was true - even if she did twist her meanings to fit her needs at times. Though, about being a princess, that was clearly and utterly real. Her father and mother claimed these lands, and therefore, she was princess. No heir, no, they picked the quiet one for that. Neither she or her wild brother happened to be heir, which, even if it did leave her a little sore, she knew was the wise choice. Tamu would rule these lands best once their father was gone. "Well, I suppose you may call me that if you like, but I really don't like being gawked at, as flattering as it is. Then there comes grudges from those I've never met and swooning males that I really don't have any use for." She smirked, her tail wavering to and fro.
"Well, you're welcome to meander about our lands, we don't have anything against rogues, after all, my father and I descend from that group," she had no real clue that he wasn't a rogue, and she didnt' question it. She knew people said what they wanted other to know - and simply, she figured she would be told what she was wanted to be. She pushed herself up onto her hind quarters, sitting comfortably, tail wrapped around her forepaws. "Just hope and pray you don't run into a dark blue-eyed thing by the name of Denahi," she said with a little laugh, cold, and unamused. She didn't much like her older brother. "He's ruthless, and pompous, and though I've seen very little of him since we've arrived here, I'm sure the position of prince has probably gone to his arrogant little head." Well, that was amusing. Princess Syeira - calling someone else arrogant. "Not to mention, he's not the nicest of lions. Actually, he rather lacks that gene all together." Oh, to put him down all the time, that was what she lived for. She just hoped it never got back to him - or he'd take it out on their helpless little brother.

Kenai moved through the grass wearily, his eyes large and slightly fearful. He didn't very much enjoy the feel of it against his small body or under paw, but he guessed it was something you had to get used to. His tail flicked a little and he mewled out, ears twitching. He'd made his way from Asi, his papa. He was a bit afraid now, he didn't like being alone. Maybe if he cried out enough Asi would come find him?
"Paaaap~a?" he cooed out, his words gushing out in a sing-song manner.

Tafari's ear twitched; he opened his bright blue eye to glance around. He could have sworn he had just picked up the scent of a lion he had yet to meet. From what he could tell, it was only a cub... He opened his other, grey eye and lifted his head off of his paws as realization hit him. There was a cub wandering around all by itself? Tafari sighed, his nap would have to be continued later. He stood and shook out his wannabe-mane, figuring he should probably go to make sure the cub wasn't lost.
Then he heard it. The young male's black tipped ears perked up at the sound of the cub's coo. Not wasting another second, Tafari hurried to find where the sound was coming from. "Hey," he said softly, "Are you okay?" he asked, finding the lone cub. So many cubs showing up as of late... Was this normal?

He was about to yell out again when suddenly an older lion appeared. Oooh, what mezmerizing eyes. "Ya do no be papa!" He said in a rather cheerful voice, and he giggled. Aww, he took after his father in the speaking department, it seemed.
"Uhh.. I.. dunno where I be." He said, suddenly frowning and looking around, the feaful look coming back to him. "oo'r yew?" His head tilted, still standing in one spot.

Tafari frowned at the cub. What in the world was he saying? "Uhh..." he blinked, trying to pick up on what he was saying, "Who am I?" he asked, thinking that he understood a little of what the cub was saying, "I'm Tafari. What's your name?" he said softly, tilting his head also. Interesting little one...

"Taf~ie!" He cooed out, moving forward suddenly and purring up against his legs. "Mum be callin' me Kenai, so I guess tha' be my name... hey, why is this stuff so funny feel'in?" He asked, peering up and then glancing around. "Do yeh know where my papa is?" His tail flicked.
Kenai seemed to have just a bit too much of energy.

"Tafari..." he repeated, thinking he must have not said his name clearly enough before. Kenai? That was a simple enough name to remember. Tafari blinked at the cub's next question. "Uh, well," he pondered for a second, staring down at the grass, "I guess it's just because it is." How was he supposed to know why the grass felt the way it did?
"Your... Papa?" he asked, frowning as he tried to think. Oh, he meant his father, right? Again, how was he supposed to know? "What does your father look like?" He'd help if he could...

Why was Tafari repeating his name? Oh maybe it was a game! "Kenai!" He nodded enthusically. "Oh.. I think it be a bi' weird.." He muttered, eyeing a few blades again.
"Oh papa is.. uh.. big! An' warm.. an'e be... uhm." He scrunched up his nose to think. "Colored like dirt!" He nodded more, happy he could think of something simular to his father's color. After all, he didn't know the color brown. And Asi wasn't too brown anyways.

What the... Why did he say his name again? Tafari rasied an eyebrow at the cub. Interesting little thing... "I think it's weird too," he mumbled, a bit upset he couldn't exactly explain things to Kenai. Maybe he should go ask his mother later to explain things to him.
His attention was brought back to the cub as he tried explaining what his father looked like. Tafari frowned, realizing that... there weren't very many older males around... "Your father is the King? Asikari?" he asked nervously, "What are you doing out here alone? Does he know where you are?" he asked, hoping that Asi wouldn't get upset with him for not returning his son as soon as he was found. Great... That'd be just his luck...

He giggled and nodded, glad someone finally agreed with him. Maybe he could go back to the den? There was no weird grass in there.
"Ki~ng?" he chirped up, not knowing what a king was. "Yeah tha' sounds like wha' mum calls 'im, Asi." He suddenly began to n** at Tafari's paw. "'e do no' know where I am... bu' i wanna go back to my fam~ie." He whined out, looking rather upset at the end.

So Kenai's father really was Asi. Tafari's tail twitched nervously. Should he just take the little one back to the den? That was probably best. Tafari flinched as something touched his paw, but from looking down, it was only Kenai. "You want to go back?" he asked, turning a little red in the cheeks and trying to pull his paw away without upsetting the little one, "It's alright, I'll take you back," he said with a softer tone in his voice; the same tone his mother used on him. He started to turn, but waited to make sure Kenai would follow him.

A small cub walks slowly, his left hind leg limps slightly as he moves, exhausted from walking he continues on his way. Keep moving someone will want to play with you. That is if you ever find anyone. He sighed heavily as he inched along, he was barely recognizable as a lion, he looked more like a mound of mud that had magically sprung to life. He shivered slightly, not out of being cold but out of nature, he was lost and he knew it.

Tisha had been hunting for most of the day, the woods leading her along path after path until she found herself looking out into the grasslands of the South. Shaking her head slowly at the rogue land, she turned around and prepaired to head back without a meal, hoping to find something on her way back.
It was than she noticed the cub. He stood out amongs the grasses just enough to catch her attention, and she turned to stare as he limped by. It seemed weird to see such a small cub on his own, and it touched her heart for her to move lightly over to his small form.
"Oh no..." She whispered before calling out soothingly, "Are you alright?" It was a soft call, her eyes light despite the one raven colored one. She was worried, for if this cub was alone, he must have been through quite a bit.
