Hobbies:
Logic puzzles -- from syllogisms to Sudoku, you name it, if it requires tricksy thinking to solve, Andy is all over it. One can often spot him between classes parked somewhere on campus with a puzzle book and a pen (yes, he's cocky enough to work puzzles in pen), lost in chasing down an elusive solution. He also enjoys his calculus and algebra classes and likes working out complicated equations for fun. Dork? Nerd? You betcha.

Ballet -- no, really. Andy has taken ballet lessons since age 6, and is rather good at it, as one might imagine after so many years. He loves ballet for its athleticism, emotion and beauty; strong and graceful, he's deeply confident in his dancing ability, and aspires to someday join a premiere ballet company and tour the world, dancing a principal role in all his favorites. Such an ambitious goal leaves him little time for other hobbies, as he studies and trains almost every waking hour when he's not in school. Ballet is one of the few things he doesn't slack off on.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: deep amber-brown eyes, slightly uptilted and hooded; wears black-framed rectangular Velma glasses (except not so heavy-framed).

Hair: bright ginger-orange-red, just past shoulder length, with heavy emo-boy fringe that hangs in his face, half-hiding it.

Face: fairly sharp foxy features; surprisingly few freckles; NO piercings, feels they might prevent him from getting roles.

Skin Tone: classic ginger-pale complexion, #F0DFD6 if not lighter. So pale he practically glows in the dark.

Body Type: 5'10", slim and wiry-muscular like a ballet dancer (which he is).

Clothes: Outside of school, Andy dresses like an emo-nerd-boy -- short-sleeve shirts or shirts with the sleeves rolled up half-buttoned over long-sleeve tees in various colors, baggy jeans with frayed hems, big thick-soled stompy boots; wears a chain wallet and a neck scarf almost constantly, though if it gets too warm he'll replace the scarf with a tie; likes big oversized ugly "grandpa" sweaters when it's cold; has a pocket protector in his shirt pocket stuffed with pens and pencils which he actually uses. He actually likes his school uniform! For ballet training and practice, he wears leotards or plain tees, tights, and ballet shoes (usually doesn't wear leg warmers, claims they look too doofy); wears whatever costume is required for actual performances; has been known to don a tutu for lulz.

Andy is a native son of Destiny City, the only child of neo-hippies Arthur and Chelsea Fox, who met at a rave while sophomores at DCU. While Arthur eventually settled down and has become a lawyer, Chelsea's still very hippie-ish and new-agey, working for an acupuncture practice doing reiki. Andy came along at just the right time in their lives; he was considered their "golden child," their stabilizing factor, given everything he asked for and encouraged to follow whatever path he wanted.

And what he decided to do at age 6 was ballet. Andy's parents wanted to expose the boy to everything and anything to help him grow into a well-rounded person, so they took him to the Destiny City Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker," as one does around the holiday season. Little Andy was enraptured by the children dancing on stage, but what really caught his attention was the Mouse King and his battle with the Nutcracker soldier. His parents thought the music would inspire him in a creative direction, but when he announced he wanted to be the Mouse King when he grew up, they immediately enrolled him in ballet school. Andy was one of the few boys attending, but he didn't care, and he still doesn't.

In regular school, Andy excelled, especially at math. His parents got him into Azure Valley Academy after finishing up at Knightside Elementary, and it was there he found his people: geeks. Already considered something of a nerd because of ballet and his proficiency at math and science, he fell naturally into the role at the boarding school and has grown into a full-fledged "Valleyboy" (except without the snobbery and elitism some Azure Valley boys have).

Thing is, he keeps hearing stories about weird things happening in Destiny City, disappearances and unexplained weakness and other things, like monsters. Andy doesn't believe any of it, mind, not without irrefutable proof, which no one has been able to supply yet (tv and newspapers aren't irrefutable…).

Senshi: Sailor Luyten, Senshi of Paradox

Luyten is an asteroid that orbits in the constellation Canis Minor, which was known to the Greeks as the Teumessian fox. The Teumessian fox was a giant fox who could never be caught. After the fox attacked a village, the hound Laelaps, a magical dog who always caught its prey, was sent after the fox. Faced with the paradox of the situation, an inescapable dog chasing an uncatchable fox, Zeus turned both animals to stone and cast them into the heavens: Laelaps became Canis Major, and the Teumessian fox became Canis Minor.

Sailor Scout Attack: Opposites Day!
Luyten points at his target and shouts the name of the attack in a sing-song voice. Suddenly with everything the enemy does or says, the opposite happens to them – magic affects them instead of Luyten, they hit themselves in the face or kick their own butt, etc. Luyten can use this attack up to three times per battle, and it lasts about 29 seconds (a prime number); casting range is 11 feet. Those with strong willpower or logical minds can break or nullify the effect.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Reverse Engineering! LOCKED
Similar to Luyten's basic attack, Luyten points at his target and shouts the name of the attack, and suddenly everything the enemy does or says happens to them in reverse. Magic attacks come out backwards and still affect the caster, physical attacks happen in reverse and still affect the enemy (such as attempting to punch starts out with the fist already impacted in the face), etc. Luyten can use this attack up to three times per battle, and it lasts about 37 seconds (a prime number); casting range is 13 feet. Those with very strong willpower or logical minds can break or nullify the effect.

Eternal Sailor Scout Attack: Quantum Yoga Pose! LOCKED
Luyten's Eternal attack gives his target the illusion that they are being physically twisted into a complicated and totally impossible geometric shape, like something out of an Escher painting. The illusion is completely immersive; the person getting hit with this feels the pain of their body contorting and tying itself into knots. It essentially immobilizes the target for the duration, as hey, it's a little hard to use a weapon or hurl a spell if you believe your hands are being twisted through your navel and your mind is trying to come to terms with the suspension of the laws of physics. The effect lasts 43 seconds, with a casting range of 17 feet (prime numbers). Those with very strong willpower or logical minds can break or nullify the effect; getting hit during the magic effect will also break it.
