I laid there.. my eyes slowly shutting as the monster held me in a iron grip.. my body going weak.. fighting to keep my eyes open.. fighting with everything I had not to die by the thing's hand. But then he drops me..and I collapse to the floor, lying there on the alley floor like a broken doll.. unable to move, scream.. watching my blood flow... painting the alley floor a crimson red... my lids feeling heavy... ready to close possibly for the last time. My cell phone barely an inch from my now pale hand.. barely twitching after my wish to move and touch it. My world disappearing.. being sucked into a void. I didn't want this!!!! I didn't want to die in a alley like some piece of garbage! NO! I refuse to die like this!!!!!!! I had to much to lose like this!!!! I wanted to taste my first sexual experience! I wanted to go and finish college to escape this dead end job! I wanted to find love for Pete's Sake! My eyes fluttered... but something caught my attention. Something... silver.... beautiful.. silky smooth.. beckoning..and I reached for it..
I blinked, hearing the beeping noises.. machines going as a few people stood over me. I had no family...... and I didn't have any real friends. "Can you hear me?" one stated. I muttered a weak yes... and the man nodded. "Your in the hospital. some passerby found you and called 911. You got lucky.. any longer and you would have bleed to death. But it seems that you'll be right as rain here in a few days.. surprisingly." the doctor stated.. I noticed his name tag.....Rhyn. Weird name... of course mine wasn't? thanks mom. I nodded weakly and the people piled out.. and within the few days I was back at my crappy job... and going to school.... but for some reason. I felt different.. and for the life of me.. I didn't know why... I couldn't get enough to drink...... food I had no problem.. but it seemed like my body was wanting more then water or tea.. or anything to drink. And I noticed my hearing getting stronger... I could pick up smells and scents I never noticed before and a couple of other things.
I ignored it really.. or I tried to.. till.....
They showed up.
I looked at them like they were losing their mind. Me.. a Vampire? No way...... although.... what happened about two weeks ago was starting to hit home.....I wait for their explanation. And it wasn't pretty.. seemed like I was leaving my old life into something new... and I didn't like the goon squad that came to fetch me. "Great...... anything else I need to know before I walk to my eternal doom?"

Devarius stood at the door, tilting his head.
Valan sighed. "He is not to move from this room until the council has made a decision." he stated.
"I understand Valan." he stated.
"Thank you... Now if only I can get Xias to give me an answer." he muttered.

Valan moved out of the hallway, making his way back to meet with Xias. He hoped the man was more willing... He could not ask Theiren.... he had a daughter to watch over.. and with a untrained bitten was bad.

Miara's eyes flared. "Excuse me?!" she asked on a light growl.
"Miara...please wait outside, you can go see Dev, alright?"
"But Master..."
"Please.."
"Fine.." she said glaring at Valan a moment before moving off.

Or possibly try to hurt the man over some oreo's that were hers, from what the demoness had told him. "Of course. You were needing to see me over what issue?" he asked.
The girl pouted outside the door before moving down the hall....Maybe Dev could make her smile.

"Yes.. we found a young man a few days back. He appears to be a bitten... but from what I've gathered.. he is a rare bitten......he's becoming a vampire without the assistance of blood from a Master or his bitter. I'm requesting that you take the role as his Master.. his teacher till he can fend for himself." he stated.

He blinked. The man from the other night perhaps? "By how you talk I assume he isn't paranormal then?"
Her eyes flashed as she caught sight of the man. "Devy!" she said and flug herself into the giants arms happily.

He looked pensive. So it was the man he saved...Already turning? could that be a sign? "I....I accept." he said nodding.

"Oreo thief?" he asked, blinking. Ohhkay... "I do have the small peppermints if you want one." he stated, smiling.
"Thank you. Mind you he hasn't shown any signs of the blood, but I don't give him much longer till he starts his full change." he stated. "I would request considering teaching him before the change happens. Since he is mortal... his teaching will be... in greater need to understand our realm. And do make sure Miara doesn't try to kill him?" he asked. "I have enough vampires afraid of her.."
