Nienna's Big No-No: Censorship or Banning Books. I mean, it's one thing to decide for yourself what you will and will not read, or for keeping tabs on your kids. But to take the choice from a personal level to a governmental, administrative level is one I don't like.
For instance, 1984, the novel most infamous for restricting books was recently taken off all Kindles because of copyright issues. But one of the legal problems with Amazon doing so, is even if the copyright wasn't valid, when you purchase a book, you can do with it whatever you like. Once you pay for the book, you have the right to keep it. At least one college student is filing suit, because not only did they delete his copy of the text, they also made his lose all the notes he made about it.
It's just ironic that the novel that basically gave us the paranoia about governmental control which went too far also spawned this event.
