a spider must have layed an egg or something in my room while i was gone and it must have hatched within the past couple days, because i'm been finding tiny little spiders all around my bedroom and they irritate the hell out of me. normally, i'm terrified of spiders and i refuse to go anywhere near them, let alone kill them by my own hand, if i can help it. but i've found i'm totally fine with spiders no bigger then a freckle on my arm, except that they're a nuisance. so i've been squishing these little buggers for the past while, and i'm actually kinda worried that one of these days the mama spider will appear to find out why her little ones keep disappearing...

any suggestions for getting rid of spiders? i don't know why, but they seem awfully attracted to my room or just me in general. sure, i should dust more to get rid of the cobwebs, but still. i'm tired of having to find the flyswatter or get someone else (usually my mom, as my dad likes spiders [stupid entymologist] and my brother isn't a big fan of them either) to kill them.

anyone else have pest problems?

Look into some spray for the room that will kill bugs that's safe to use indoors or something to that effect. That is what we had to do when we had spiders in the house, and earwigs.. those are nasty, nasty bugs. I hate them with a passion.

i have pets? O.o all i have is fish, if they're still alive (because most of them are probably as old as i am), and they're downstairs at the other end of the house, no where near my room and probably aren't getting there anytime soon. my mom's allergic to pretty much anything with fur and feathers, so we don't have anything other than fish.

nope. maybe i said i wished i had a cat, but i don't have one. never have. maybe you're thinking of Hisa because she posted about her ant problem a while ago and said that she needs to be careful about what she uses because she has cats.

you must be friends with the spiders....some people don't know this but while you sleep you swallow at least four living spiders a year....so next time you see one crawling around just remember this...those 8 pointy hairy little legs have been on your face,in your mouth,down your throat,and in you stomach....where do you think that tickle feeling comes from when you sleep and slap your face....or that dry mouth feeling of the spider laying it's eggs in your mouth....hehehehehe I'll stop now *tips hat and walks away*
