His World by Zebrahead plays on the speakers and a roar of cheers came from the audience. Xavier Cross steps out onto the stage and executes one of his signature Mercenary taunt. He then makes his way down the ring interacting with the crowd along the way. He slides into the ring, stands up and walks over to a turnbuckle. He climbs up and looks out to the sea of audience and executes another signature Mercenary taunt. He jumps down and walks over to a corner where he takes off his jacket. He tosses the jacket to the outside before walking over to a corner and waits.

The ref calls for the bell and Xavier moves in on Duane attempting a hammerlock.

Xavier keeps the hammerlock in for only a few seconds. He lets go and immediately steps in front of Duane attempting a snapmare and dropkick combo.

Xavier is pushed forward. He sidesteps and attempts a back kick to Duane's gut.

Xavier turns around fully to face Duane and attempts to lift him with a double underhook suplex.

Xavier is pinned but has plenty of energy to kick out at a one count.

Xavier rolls away to put some distance between himself and Duane. He stands up a few seconds after Duane is already up.
