Pendulum - Propane Nightmares

Trumpets blared around the arena, as the crowd went ballistic, ready for one of the hottest Superstars in WWFG to explode on to the scene!

Something's tearing me down and down
And I can't but feel it's coming from you
She's a gunshot bride, With a trigger cries
I just wonder what we've gotten our selves into...

The arena was then plunged into darkness and green spotlights turned on around the arena, randomly turning, seemingly looking for something or someone. Strobe lighting flickered around the arena..

The lights started to flicker around the arena, the green spotlights still 'looking' around.

[From London, UK .. The Prodigy .. NUKE FUSION!]

Nuke Fusion rose from the floor, his arms crossed and eyes closed. As he opened his eyes, he threw his arms up as Green Pyro's shot off in a ring around him. He then started to walk down the ramp, towards the ring, looking around the arena. Fans held out their arms for him, but he decided to ignore them unusually, carrying on his descent towards the ring.

Sliding in to the ring, he then took a leap and landed on top of a turnbuckle, raising his fist in the air. The crowd cheered on Nuke, but he seemed nonchalant, not particularly in a particularly caring mood.

Jumping down from the turnbuckle, he adjusted his shades as he was passed a WWFG microphone, the logo etched in to the square base near the tip of it. Looking out at the thousands of fans who cheered him on, Nuke looked down at his shoulder as if something was missing, then back up at the arena.

"Notice something's gone?"

Looking back down at his shoulder, he then patted his waist, before shrugging.

"You know, it seems as if a great weight has been lifted from me, yet I can't seem to place my finger on it .. Wait, yes, that's right. The Women's Championship. You know, the same Championship that I was forced to compete for, the same one that I haven't been able to get rid of .. Even when I attempted to get rid of it."

Taking off his signature shades, Nuke folded them and placed them in one of his back pockets.

"So I decided to ditch it .. I thought that a fresh start was in order, a new beginning, a chance for The Prodigy to really shine again!"

The crowd cheered again as Nuke seemed to have gained the same fire in his stomach that made him a five-time World Champion.

"So I decided to dwell on this, and a few things came to mind. The first being the Women's Championship. You see, the Women's Division here is weak, in need of a clear-out. So, from now onwards, there will be no Championship for them to have cat fights over .. Instead, there will be a new title instated. That title being .. The Deific Championship!"

The crowd gave off another loud cheer; at the same time, Nuke looked over at a stage hand as he was passed a Championship belt, the word 'Deific' etched in to the top of it and 'Championship' at the bottom. A nameplate rested near the bottom, Nuke's name already upon it.

"But I also thought some more, and thought about all of you guys, and the support you've given me .."

A cheap pop was heard.

".. And I realised that it wasn't enough."

The cheap pop had then turned in to an awkward silence, the arena seemingly stopped in their tracks at what Nuke had just said.

"I realised that you people are only good for one thing; your money. You're all so fickle, you'll turn on a guy just because he does what he has to to get to the top of this business. Everyone puts their body on the line for you people every single night we're out here, and I've decided that enough is enough. I've had it with being the nice guy, the one who gets cheered but never gets far enough. So from now on it's back to the old Nuke, the one who was pushing to become the World Champion here not too long ago. The one who only gives a damn for one thing .. Himself!"

The crowd were by now jeering everything that Nuke had to say, and they seemed to be just proving Nuke's point, that they're 'all so fickle'.

"So go and find yourself a new guy to cheer, because I've had enough of it, I've had enough of being second best all the time. I've yet to find myself a suitable title yet in this business, and now I have it. I've yet to have the support from you people that I need, and now I don't need it. So the next agenda .. The Outcasts. I am the lifeline of the faction, the very blood that runs through it. But soon it will die. Soon it will perish without me, as I go on to bigger and better things. I will hunt down Christina Parks and Matt Shanahan with ruthlessness and no intent of ever giving them a chance. You see, there is no one on this entire roster that can best me. I've run through it so many times looking for a worthy challenge, and every time I've come up short for ideas."

Now slightly pacing the ring, he walked slowly around in a circle, seemingly thinking.

"Well, who is there that can rival me? No one you see, no one that can compare to my greatness. No one at all .."
