"One shot, one kill." That is the motto of the assassins guild in NYC. They can take out the targets of a customer's choosing, with the right price. They are known as "The Shadow" simply to have a name to call them because they don't have a formal name for their customers to go by.
This assassins guild is hired by the biggest names in the city to get rid of competition or to get even. The guild also does not pick a side, but go with the highest payer. The more money, the more each assassin gets. They have also been contacted by government and military officials who want jobs done off the record. To contact the assassins, one has to place white roses at the front desk of their business.
Assassins answer only to their leader and only are on duty when they are called for a job based on their level of skill. Outside of the dark world of assassins, these people lead the normal lives of wealthy individuals who live in the city. Well at least those who live that life style. To become an assassin, one has to show exceptional skill, and even though "One shot, one kill" is the motto, it doesn't always have to be with a gun.
You are either an Assassin, their leader, a big shot, or just a normal person in the city. Choose your side.
Being a police officer is optional, but your chances of catching an assassin before they get you are slim. Besides, you may need their help anyway.

Please note that this is an "R" rated RP. If you don't want any part of it, don't come in
Typical RP rules apply.
I shouldn't have to name them.

Mia Brightwood walked through central park without a care in the world. It was a hot day and everyone was in shorts, a tank top, and flip flops, including her. Men whistled as she walked by but she only smiled and kept on her way. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a volleyball game going and started to walk in that direction.

Mia arrived at the court and watched as the people volleyed the ball back and forth.
"Do you have room for another player?" she asked. One of the guys looked her up and down and smirked. He was a fit young man, probably 21, 6'1, and tanned. "Sure, pick a side"
Mia walked onto the side opposite of the young gentleman and in the back on the right side. "I'll serve" she said.

She smacked the ball a couple times for practice and to get comfortable with it before Mia stepped out of the court to serve. She held the ball out at shoulder length, then tossed it up and smacked it hard to the other team. It caught them off guard and hit the ground right next to the young man who said she could play.
Mia smirked as the other teamed mouthed words like "damn", "s**t", and "we're ******** serving zero" she said, getting ready to serve again.
