This is the Captain's office where Captain Nariko spends parts of her day doing paper work or fretting over the cleanliness of the area. It is a large room with a dark oak desk and chair sitting off towards the northern wall. A couch, coffee table and a few chairs take up the other half of the room. It is well lit with large windows and sliding doors leading out into the courtyard of the Lieutenant and Captain's quarters.

Napoleonita was leaning against the wall of the hallway to her captain's office. She was still sort of dizzy from drinking too much during the festival. She staggered to the door and really made an effort to move her body. "Oh, here I go again..." Apparently, this is natural whenever she drinks too much. Only on certain occasions, though. She's known to resist many bottles of sake and only seldom does she really get drunk. She finally arrived at the doorstep of the office. Lifting her left hand, she knocked twice and waited for a response. "Captain, are you there?" she called out, her voice sounding weirder than usual.

It had only been a few minutes since Nariko had arrived in her office after the speedy captain's meeting had ended. She had taken the pleasure of throwing herself across the couch in her office, face burried in the pillows in an attempt to block out the light of the day. She had almost been asleep when two knocked hit her door. She lifted her face from the pillows, slowly glancing around the room. Letting her eyes rest on the door she strained to hear her lieutenant call out from the other side. Rolling off the couch she landed on her back with an 'oof'.
Slowly dragging herself up she wandered over to the door in a slightly dazed manner and pulled it open. Blinking up at Napoleonita for a moment she wondered what on earth could have happened to make her lieutenant look so... drunk. She didn't think it was possible. "Did someone drug you or something?" She asked with a quirked eyebrow.

The door leading to the captain's office was being used for support to stand by Napoleonita. Seconds after knocking, the door suddenly moved, making her fall to her captain's feet. Unfortunately, she didn't have enough control at the moment and her reaction speed could be considered poor -- the effects of drinking too much. "This is truly embarrassing. Not the first impression I wanted to show my new captain..." she said, almost in a whisper so her captain couldn't hear despite the close distance between them. "Drug me?" She made an effort to stand up, but could only come close to kneeling at the moment, so she decided to sit down instead. "Oh no, I just drank a little. I don't usually get drunk so easily, though. But this time I think I had too much..." It was only now that she noticed it wasn't appropriate for a lieutenant to be acting like this in front of a captain. "Sorry for acting like this, captain," she said in an apologetic manner together with a low bow.

Nariko quirked an eyebrow at her lieutenant. It certainly had been the first time they had really met, though she had heard rumors about her lieutenant. Some were not so good, such as almost always carrying a flask of some sort of alchol around with her, but she had heard equally benefiting things as well. One such thing being her unique fighting style. Apparently there was nothing like it in common practice.
Reaching a hand out she smiled down at Napoleonita. "Need a hand? I can't have my lieutenant falling all over the place, now can I?" She laughed lightly, trying to make a joke out of the situation.

Napoleonita's face slightly turned pink, it made her more embarrassed that she had to get helped up by her captain. Nevertheless, she stretched out her arm and placed her hand on her captain's as she made an effort to stand, she did it, although barely. "Much thanks." She slowly moved towards the wall and subtly leaned on it, hoping that her captain would not notice. "She doesn't look like she's angered..." she thought, noticing the smile on her face when she glanced at her. Just then, it struck her that she has not been given a chance to formally introduce herself in the past. It wasn't the ideal first introduction, but better than nothing at all. She thought that it be quite rude. "So many negative stuff I've shown in the first meeting. I hope she doesn't hate me."
She took a deep breath and exhaled. "I have failed to introduce myself before with the formalities so..." She bowed down, with one of her hands still on the wall for support, and spoke in the best tone her voice could probably have at the moment. My name is Napoleonita. I was promoted to my lieutenant position way back before. It is truly a pleasure to meet you, Captain Nariko." She sighed as she straightened her body. "It went well..."
[I hope you can forgive me for taking so long to post. My internet just isn't cooperating with me right now... sweatdrop ]
