Captain's Office: Nicoline Miura-Ambre

You are here to see the Captain for whatever reason, yet as you make your way to the heavy, dark wooden French doors separating the office from the waiting room, you take note of the obvious sign placed onto the short, dark colored end table. It reads, "The Taichō Is In", in an elegant scroll. And as you knock on the door awaiting the response of the Captain, you take one last glance around the lightly decorated waiting area.

A few feet away from the end table is a low, black micro-suede sofa. The style is modern, and the matching black coffee table was placed in front of it with a vase of Lilies mixed with Sakura blossoms centered on the table. With dark wooden floors and Misty Rose colored walls, you finally hear the Captain call you into her office.

Once inside, you notice the shoji sliding doors behind the tall modernized desk. They were open so you could see that they led to a private garden filled with Cherry Blossom trees, thick rolling green grass, a small waterfall, and other pieces of natural beauty. A warm, comforting breeze rolled in carrying the sweet scent of the flowers just outside the door.

Off to the left side is another black micro-suede sofa with matching coffee table and two single chairs that flanked both sides of the sofa, yet were positioned so that they were around the coffee table.

To the right side of the room was a small kitchen equipped with a high-tech stove/oven pair, small counter and cabinet space, and a high-tech fridge/freezer duo.

Along the wall with the French doors were bookshelves and decorative file cabinets. Both were filled with books and important documents that only the Captain and Vice-Captain of the squad would be allowed to look at, so that would explain why there was a lock on the file cabinet.

Aside from the minimal look, the dark wooden floors from the waiting room carried over into the Taichō's office to be paired with a Light Slate Grey coloring on the walls. And with the few scattered plants and flowers and pictures - both hanging and framed on the desk, the room was found to be simple and inviting.
