The Hyundai/Kia camp has always relied on plagiarizing designs from other companies. Car mags have commented on how the Genesis Sedan took pieces from Mercedes, BMW, and Lexus, and how the Genesis Coupe was a low-class wannabe Infiniti G37. But the new Kia Forte is an affront to anyone who believes in giving due credit for artistry and design to the original creators. The sad thing is, just like how people try to buy bootleg DVDs, and Chinese imitation designer clothes/accessories... people will actually buy the Forte because it looks like a Civic and costs less. ******** YOU ASIA! I swear that Japan is the only Asian nation worth keeping.

Hyundai really doesn't have any sort of design that they are known for or that sets them apart from everyone else. I don't think the Genesis Coupe looks much like the G37 in any form really, but the sedan you can see its influence from BMW and what not. The Kia Forte is the worst of them all though, but I have to say, in my own opinion that is, is that they made it look better than the Civic with the slight differences it does have. Like they say, if you can't beat them, join them.

The point is that plagiarism is wrong. Someday, when someone copies your work/art and claims it as their own... and makes money off of it, you'll understand. "If you can't beat them, join them." NOT "If you can't beat them, rip them ******** KOREA! ******** need to create their own designs, and stop ripping people off! I only wish that people in the world could recognize what things are wrong, and stop ******** supporting them. But nope, stupid people just go for the cheaper knock-offs.

Hyundai most defiantly will not get far with their current designs. I've only seen one Genesis Coupe and like a handful of Genesis, so they aren't selling that well I don't believe. I'm pretty sure it will backfire on them.
I agree with you, plagiarism is wrong. I wouldn't buy a Hyundai or a Kia a day in my life, I'll probably look them up or just see what the vehicle is about though. But plagiarism and copying of ideas a specialty of Asia? They will take the idea of someone else or another country and try to improve it, but they don't really succeed. Heck, even my history teacher said that, not that means much or anything though.

Haha I never even heard of Power Acoustik, but I'm guessing that plagiarism doesn't only occur in the automotive business but in the audio world too.
