A Galaxy Divided
Ten years have passed since the death of the SITH LORD DARTH SIDIOUS, under the guise of SUPREME CHANCELLOR PALPATINE. The GALACTIC REPUBLIC has fallen from its former glory, the great majority of its members now under the control of the CONFEDERACY OF INDEPENDENT SYSTEMS, or one of the many new factions that have formed. SUPREME CHANCELLOR BAIL ORGANA now leads the REPUBLIC REMNANT, a mere ten worlds, and attempts to return it to its former glory.

The JEDI ORDER, seeing that the REPUBLIC is no longer the sole major power of the galaxy, left CORUSCANT for their ancient world of TYTHON in order to neutrally keep peace between the now numerous galactic governments. The REPUBLIC KNIGHTS, JEDI that refused to abandon the REPUBLIC, remained with the REMNANT, led by JEDI GRAND MASTER THOLME.

The CONFEDERACY OF INDEPENDENT SYSTEMS, now the galaxy's largest power, has halted its expansion and looks to maintaining its internal politics and making alliances with the new factions that have emerged from the defeated REPUBLIC. However, the CLONE WARS only ended in armistice, leaving the CIS and the REPUBLIC in a state of cold war.

The INTERSTELLAR COMMONWEALTH, HYDIAN FEDERATION, and RIMMA ALLIANCE are only a few of the galactic governments that now dominate the galaxy. They consider themselves neutral, but are no friends of the CONFEDERACY.

The division in the galaxy has not been seen to this degree for nearly 25,000 years. It is a time where anything can happen. Where war is but a misspoken word away. Only time will tell what happens...

RULES

1. Listen to Rodyn and the mods.

2. Guild rules and GAIA TOS must be followed ALWAYS.

3. Simple, semi-literate RP guidelines must be followed. God-moding is prohibited, and puppeting is allowed at the consent of the other party (I advise that you do not delete any PMs exchanged between you and said party incase I need to see it).

4. Please be literate. This includes using proper punctuation, apostrophes, paragraphs if needed and other simple gramatical practices.

5. This is a 3rd Person objective RP. This means, that you will only use "I", "Me" and other 1st person forms unless in dialouge. This also means that you cannot know what others are thinking. OOCs must be represented in a double parentheses ((like this)) or in double brackets [[like so]].

6. Expounding on parts 4 and 5, basically think of it as a novel in progress by many writers.

7. Feel free to go to any planet you choose. However, there will be what I call "Centers of Attention" where important events will happen. This is to help you rejoin the action. (See in Post 4/5-ish)

8. Have Fun! Otherwise, things are going to like, suck and stuff.

Planets
Factions
Republic Remnant
Capital: Coruscant
The remains of the once-great Galactic Republic. After approximately 25,000 years, it is finally at the cusp of total dissolution. Supreme Chancellor Bail Organa does what he can to hold together the Republic, but it's holding on by a mere thread. Though officially still a member, Dac is in a state of civil war. The Quarren leading a rebellion against the Mon Calamari for control of the planet. The Remnant Army is a tightly-knit organization mostly comprised of volunteers and conscripts, along with surviving clone troopers. The Navy contains newer ships from the shipyards of CEC, Sienar, Fondor, and Lianna, but is still mostly left-over refits from the Clone Wars.

---Republic Knights
Capital: Coruscant
When Master Yoda decided the Jedi Order would have no further part in the ever-growing Clone Wars, not all Jedi deciding to side with him. A large contigent, led by Masters Tholme, T'ra Saa, and Vos, decided that the Jedi owed it to the Republic to 'finish the fight', and serve the oaths they made millenia ago, and upheld to this day.

After a heated argument, the Order splintered. While the majority of 6,000 Jedi left for Tython, 750 of them decided to stay on Coruscant, at the new Republic Temple.

The Order of Republic Knights, as they call themselves, are in almost every sense of the word, Jedi. The difference is, while they do uphold all the laws of the Jedi Code, their highest loyalty and honor is to the Republic. Their is no official uniform, though it is encouarged to wear Jedi robes.

Jedi Order
Capital: Tython
Led by Grand Master Yoda, Master Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, they left the Republic and Coruscant once the galaxy had split into several factions and independent planets for their historical world of Tython once more. Ever since the war, the Jedi have lost nearly half their numbers, and the departing of the Republic Knights didn't help that. From their new "capital", the Jedi attempt to keep the peace between the many governments that now dot the galaxy.

Confederacy of Independent Systems
Capital: Cato Neimoidia
Over the long years of the Clone Wars, the Confederacy had finally broken the Republic's resolve and emerged victorious, controlling almost half of the galaxy. Thanks to its then-general and current-leader, Tavian Demici of Serenno, the Confederacy is now the galaxy's strongest super power. Though they have halted their expansion, the Confederate leaders still urge independent planets and other major powers to join them.

The Confederacy's military still primarily uses droids, but each planet's member has an independent defense force and typically donates approximately 40% to 60% of their personnel and warships.

Interstellar Commonwealth
Capital: Bothawui
The Commonwealth was the first major faction to break away from the Republic during the waning days of the Clone Wars, and is currently the second-largest galactic power. Led by Prime Minister Polo Se'Lab of Bothawui, the Commonwealth seeks to start where the Republic left off. The Commonwealth Defense Force is one of the largest militaries, second only to the Confederacy. The ground forces are where its primary strength lies, but that doesn't mean their space fleet is lacking.

Hydian Federation
Capital: Taris
After the Commonwealth left the Republic, soon after the planets of the Hydian Way followed. The leader of the movement, President Tessa Mondor of Taris, rules the Federation with more dominion than Se'Lab, but is by no means oppressive. The Federation military protects its primary trade routes and planets with great duty, and focuses mostly on its navy in order to continue to protect the trade routes.

Rimma Alliance
Capital: Abregado-Rae
With the departures of both the Commonwealth and the Hydian Federation, so to did the Rimma Trade Route follow. Chairman Corlissi Ludar of Sluis Van led this separation, following the leads of Polo Se'Lab and Tessa Mondor. The Rimma Alliance is far more relaxed when it comes to galactic politics and mostly focuses on trade with independent planets and the other major factions. The Alliance military, like its government, is somewhat laid back, but this doesn't really detract from its ability to defend. Like its Federation allies, the Alliance focuses on its navy in order to protect the trade routes.

Famous Characters/Leaders
Bail Organa
Following the death of the former Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, a new election was held. Though the results were close, Bail Organa of Alderaan ascended to the seat of Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic. However, his victory was short-lived when the Republic began crumbling faster than before. Though he still leads what remains of the Republic, Bail Organa seeks to rebuild the once-great galactic society.

Tholme
A Jedi Master of the old era, Tholme was the former watchman of Kiffu and Kiffex, as well as the Jedi master to esteemed Jedi Quinlan Vos. Tholme is a master of deception and the Jedi Mindtrick, and a key player of events. More than anything, he refuses to see his plans go to nothing, and that includes not abandoning the Republic. He is, however, near the end of his days.

Quinlan Vos
A Jedi Master, trained around the same time as Obi-Wan. Vos is a skilled and very powerful Jedi. Early into the Clone Wars, he inserted into the Dark Acolytes as an undercover agent, and although he did kill Sora Bulq and defeat the Acolytes, he did not come out an unchanged man. He serves as Tholme's third in command, and is also the former Master of Jedi Knight Aayla Secura.

Tavian Demici
A member of the prominent House of Demici, Tavian Demici rose to prominance in the Confederacy after Viceroy Nute Gunray's uneventful death at the hands of a Republic assassin towards the end of the Clone Wars. He leads the Confederacy to the best of his ability, showing the ruling skills of fellow Serenno royalty, the late Count Dooku.

Yoda
Once the Republic had almost entirely fallen under the weight of its corruption and seperation, Jedi Grand Master Yoda led the Jedi off Coruscant and to the ancient Jedi world of Tython where they could neutrally keep the peace between the many factions that now inhabited the galaxy. Yoda continues to lead the Jedi Order with the care and widsom he had for many years.

Polo Se'Lab
Polo Se'Lab of Bothwui was the driving force of the alternate seperatist movement from the Republic that did not wish to join the Confederacy. He managed to bring several worlds with him and formed the Interstellar Commonwealth, a "new democracy" that attempts to keep out the corruption that caused the Republic to fall. The Interstellar Commonwealth is the second-largest galactic power, and also runs the second-largest military.

Tessa Mondor
President Tessa Mondor of Taris led the first major trade route seperatist movement, hers being the Hydian Way. The planets of the Hydian Federation have amicable relations and tend to stay out of external conflicts unless it involves them directly.

Corlissi Ludar
Corlissi Ludar of Sluis Van followed Tessa Mondor's example and led the second major trade route seperatist movement, his being the Rimma Trade Route. Due to the current leadership of a Sluissi, the Rimma Alliance generally has a laid-back attitude in external galactic politics.

Obi-Wan Kenobi
Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, like the rest of the Jedi, followed Jedi Grand Master Yoda on the exodus to the ancient world of Tython. He opposes dealing with the politics of the galaxy that does not effect the Order, however he does wish to be unity in the galaxy.

Anakin Skywalker
After overcoming his near-fall to the dark side, Anakin Skywalker continued to grow to prominence in the Jedi Order. His secret wife, Padmé Amidala, had given birth to their two children, Luke and Leia Amidala, with their existence still not revealed to the rest of the Jedi. Following the death of Palpatine, Skywalker has become calmer and less arrogant, seeing the path of the Jedi as he should have been.

Mace Windu
After striking down the former Supreme Chancellor Palpatine under the knowledge of him being a Sith Lord, Jedi Master Mace Windu was considered a hero. However, during the final days of the Clone Wars, he was struck down by bounty hunter Boba Fett after a fierce one-on-one battle.

Wilhuff Tarkin
A high-ranking officer in the Remnant's military, Wilhuff Tarkin has a brilliant tactical mind. Though he helped the Republic during the Clone Wars greatly, and still serves with unbeatable dedication, his loyalty has been brought into question.

Short History: Teroch was raised with his original squad, Omicron Squad, from birth. He was trained by Kal Skirata, a kind but firm man who taught them to always rely on their squadmates.
Omicron squad first saw combat at the Battle of Geonosis, where it incurred 50% casualties. Teroch was then reassigned with his slicer, Tal, to a mongrel squad, Theta squad.

Personal quote: "Slot 'em boys."

Stellar's
Name: Giddean Kuat
Age: 49
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Homeworld: Kuat
Main weapon: Hold-out Blaster
Side weapon: Vibro-knife
Affiliation: Kuat Sector Authority
Occupation: Commander and Chief of the Kuat Sector Fleet and Chief Executive Officer of Kuat Drive Yards
Rank: Commander and Chief, Grand Admiral of Kuat

Personal Ship: Mandator-II class Star Dreadnaught Acquisition Mandator-I class Rendition

Short History: Following the death of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, a short and violent power struggle occurred on Kuat. The Kuat family itself was splintered in the midst of the fighting as conservatives who sided with the jedi in their handling of the situation found themselves in hot water with the rest of Kuat who had greatly benefited from the Supreme Chancellor's actions.

In this environment Giddean Kuat quickly rose to take the reins of Kuat politics. Instead of siding with the conservatives or those that had been enriched by Supreme Chancellor he advocated a separate course altogether, declaring that their involvement in the Galactic Republic had blinded them to a simple truth of their existence. Kuat Drive Yards existed to make credits, and that if it separated itself from the ongoing struggle between the republic and the separatists they could make even more credits by selling to both warring parties. While neither side was happy initially with this choice their consciences were soon silenced as the credits came in.

Giddean created a unique government that spanned the Kuat Sector, called the Kuat Sector Authority it took on all governmental responsibilities and corporate responsibilities making the government itself into a sort of mega corporation. Over time the Kuat Sector Fleet was strengthened to a level making a direct assault on Kuat a suicidal endeavor, but a new crisis is beginning to face Kuat. It's appetite for resources has grown and need for imports has reached a dangerous level and the need for metals to make into products for sale has gobbled up most of the local supplies, soon the giant may awaken and take some systems from its neighbors for itself.

Appearance: A tall man with dark brown hair and grey eyes he stands about 1.85 meters tall and usually wears the uniform of the Kuat Sector Fleet, a garish looking thing with influences from the uniforms of the old republic and sith empire. It's a red, black, and blue with gold trim and utilizes the same rank plaque system as the Republic fleet of the Clone Wars era.

Personal quote: "If infinite money is the sinews of war. We must have pretty strong muscles."

Skuld's

Name: Oriss Anduli
Age: 35
Gender: Female
Species: Half - Mirialan
Homeworld: Mirial
Main weapon: Green Lightsaber
Side weapon: None
Affiliation: Jedi Order
Occupation: Consular
Rank: Knight
Specialty: Soresu

Personal Ship: None.

Appearance: http://www.swagonline.net/node/3109
The black and white marks are her tatoos.

Short History: Born to a mirialan mother and a human father, Oriss never knew the human side of her heritage. Like most jedi, she was taken away as an infant. Unlike her fellow students, she did get the chance to go back home every now and again because of her mirialan heritage, to learn the customs and perform feats. She was originally supposed to be the student of Luminara Unduli as a child, but was passed over for Bariss Offee instead.

Oriss grew up under a different master, a human, and began learning about the human side of her lineage. Part of her few tatoos on her face comes from her master's influence, teaching her the jedi way instead of the mirialan way. By the time of the clone wars, she had just finished her trials of becoming a knight, although she tended to shun battle. She refused to go to Geonosis, claiming she was too inexperienced to jump right into a battlefield.

As the war commenced, Oriss began to realize she would have to fight sooner or later. She decided to start working on solo operations, such as infiltration. While somewhat odd for a consular, her exceptional training in the force was actually beneficial in this case. She became quite good at fighting open palmed and using the lightsaber as a last resort.

Ever since the clone wars died down, Oriss has been content to be with the Jedi order, although somewhat reclusive by nature, instead meditating by herself, and usually refuses to take any padawans or be promoted to jedi master rank. The Jedi, however, become more persistant.

Personal quote: "A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it. Now be still and listen."

Nelo's
Name: Vossa Kito
Age: 31
Gender: Female
Species: Nautolan
Homeworld: Glee Anselm
Main weapon: Political power
Side weapon: Bodyguards
Affiliation: Remnant
Occupation: Senator - Unitarian Party

Personal Ship: MC18 Light Freighter

Appearance: http://sunamori.deviantart.com/art/The-Ambassador-128662813

Short History: Vossa was not one to be born as a fighter with a saber or a blaster. Instead, her power came from the ability to be an orator. One of the most stalwarth students of her generation, she maintains a complete sense of dignified quietness when her mouth stays closed, although she usually is a fierce person to debate against. She seems too mature for her own age, but such words rarely are seen as anything more than a feeble attempt to chastize her for a weak sense of ability based on jealousness caused by her youth and vitality. She is a charismatic leader, with a strong sense of ideals and an understanding of human nature that give him a devoted following among the men who serve her, and a number of the senate.

In a close victory over her opponent, she was only recently elected to the post only one voting term ago, but in the short time she has been there, her rallies for unification and peace have put her in strong connection with people such as Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, who have found the up and coming senator to be a good sign of the new generation for the senate. Vossa has been even stated to be a popular favorite as a replacement for Bail, should he step down in a decade or two, although her hyper radicalization scares just as many in the republic as it does outside.

Testing her fortitude, some senators have decided to try her ability to forge her idea into reality by having her as the primary ambassador and diplomat to the Dac dillemna, which plays right into Vossa's hands. Seeing it as nothing more than a mere challenge, she seeks to forge her name in the new republic for the unitarian party by first uniting the republic in peace by acting as a mediator between two species, before solidifying the entire galaxy under her willpower in a new age of peace and prosperity.

Personal quote: "Perverting common wisdom is a mark of all great conspiracies. Silencing common wisdom is a mark that the conspiracy has already been put into action."

Cale's
Name: Jag Rohtul
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Homeworld: Technically none (Born in space)
Primary weapons: Heavy blaster pistols (2) Vibrocutlass
Secondary Weapons: E-5 Carbine(modified for accuracy and striking power), Combat knife, Armor weapons (Whipchord launcher, knee darts, ejectable vibroblade, stun blaster gauntlet)
Affiliation: Mando'ade
Occupation: Pirate
Rank: Captain
Personal Ship: Free Dac Volunteers Akula Class Hunter Killer Corvette Ruusan

Short History: Not all Mandalorians are mercenaries, bodyguards, or bounty hunters. Some possess more mundane careers: doctors, farmers, and mechanics to name a few.
All, however, are warriors.
Such sums up the life of Jag Rohtul, Pirate Captain. Born the fifth son of a typical Mandalorian family, by the age of 13 he was a trained soldier and had accompanied his father and elder brothers on a wide variety of Mercenary style missions, having killed more people by that age than the average serial murderer manages to pull off in their entire career.

Taking to the soldier life quite easily, the young warrior grew into a skilled and fearsome opponent, equally capable of either beating down, slicing up, or blasting apart most adversaries he came across and making a damn good living at it.

Then came the Clone wars. Jag viewed the Clones as an insult to all Mandalorian Kind and quickly grew to despise the Republic that enslaved such men to its will. He never really liked the Jedi to begin with, and their new generalship gave him just one more reason to hate them as well. He and three of his siblings signed up with Mandalore the Resurector to put an end to this mess once and for all.

They failed, and two of his brothers were killed, with the third requiring extensive cybernetic prosthetics. After Grievous' death at Utapau and the attempted arrest of the Republic's Chancellor, the war stalled. The Merchants and Buerecrats that ran the Separatist cause seemed lost and confused, unable to capitalize upon the death of Palpantine without Dooku or Grievous to lead them. Then, Mandalore vanished, leaving the shattered remains of his army behind him. Jag realized that he wasn't fighting for freedom anymore, but to save the lives of some pathetic bean counters. The lives of his brothers, blood or otherwise, was not worth this. And so he left the CIS.

Still filled with anger over the Jedi, the Republic, and the enslavement of Mandalorian men by their hands, Jag was now at a loss as to how to take his wrath out on those that have blighted his people. Then a separatist Privateer made the mistake of attempting to pillage the transport he had hitched a ride on.

Watching as the vessel attempted to bring down his ride, an epiphany struck Jag. He remembered the tales his kin told of the Great Mandalorian Blockade and how they nearly starved the Republic into submission. Jag realized he could take the food from the spoiled coreworlders and give it to those who needed it: his own people who had been nearly destroyed by the Clone Wars.

Jag had his new cause, and forcefully counterboarded the Hunter Killer Corvette. He singlehandedly fought his way to the bridge, killed the captain and the quartermaster in hand to hand combat and took command by force. Those who did not like the new change in management were dealt with in a rather violent and public manner.

Now he cruises the spacelanes, rading and pillaging with a crew that follows not just the ship's code but the Resol'nare. He targets primarily Republic shipping and Tethon bound freighters but no cargo ship is truly safe from him. And with every cargo seized, 15% goes to the Mandalorian Clans.

Appearance: link
He stands 1.8 meters tall and weighs in at 78 Kilos with a weathered face. His demeanor is usually grim and intimidating, especially when in armor. Usually wears his vac sealed mandalorian armor when the ship is underway for both practical reasons as well as to intimidate his crew. When not in armor, he wears an old military cap, a padded bantha hide jacket, a spacer's jumpsuit and a pair of Officer's boots.
Personal quote: "Surrender your ship if you value your life, aruetii. You will not be warned again."

DA's
Name: Aura
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Species: Human

Side weapon: Force
Affiliation: Jedi Order
Occupation: Dancer/Consular
Rank: Knight
Specialty: None
Personal Ship: None
Appearance: http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/8063/dancerk.jpg
Short History: Aura was taken away from her family at a young age when she was discovered to have Force potential to learn the ways of the Jedi. She didn't have any skill with the saber, but she did have promise with the Force and was a gifted dancer. She helped achieve peaceful resolutions to various situations, earning herself a position in the diplomatic field. When she's not busy with anything important, she usually spent her time dancing and entertaining those around, easing their minds as they watched her performance.
Personal quote: " A war cannot be won by simply crushing your enemy. You must convince them that fighting is pointless and remove the desire for it entirely. "

EK's
Name: Dillon Nacre
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Homeworld: Jabiim
Main weapon: E-11 Blaster Rifle
Side weapon: Vibro-knife, Hold-out Blaster, Repulsor Boots, his Nimbus Commando bodyguards
Affiliation: CIS
Occupation: Second-in-Command of CIS Military
Rank: General

Personal Ship: Subjugator-class Heavy Cruiser/Destroyer Alto Stratus Subjugator-class Heavy Cruiser/Destroyer

In addition to his command ship, he also commands the Nimbus Open Fleet, one of the single largest fleets in the galaxy, filled with millions, if not billions of droids, ships, and personnel.

Short History: Dillon practiclaly worshipped Stratus, like most of Jabiim, as a young member of the Jabiim Nationalists. His parents were killed by the Lythian pirates when he was a newborn, and only sheer lucked spared him from being killed at their home as well.

When he was 24, Dillon joined the Nationalist Army, leading a platoon of soldiers in Alto Stratus' military. He continued to serve throughout the combat, fighting for the Nationalists, until the Republic eventually won the battle, killed Alto, and pulled out.

Cursing the Republic for killing his hero and leaving his planet, Dillon swore that he would continue on, and avenge Stratus. For starters, he was promoted to Captain, and given a commission as Chief Security Officer at Jabiim's largest starport. From there, he was recruited into the CIS, and assigned to head the remaining Nimbus Commandos, joining their ranks and serving as their executive officer, in a unit attached to Count Dooku.

With the CIS, Dillon continued his career, leading and revitalizing the Nimbus commandos, and becoming a senior leader in the CIS Army. By the time of the Battle of Alderaan, he was the highest-ranked human in the military, not far behind the Chief of State.

Today, he serves as Demici's second in command, and one of the most loyal, anti-Republic men out there. He personally commands the Jabiim Sector Fleet, now the Nimbus Open Fleet, from his command ship, the Alto Stratus. Only recently, after a routine medical examination was it found out that he possessed the potential to be a potent force user, though it remains unknown how medical examinations did not discover this sooner. This is assumed to be because of a misfiling, throughout the chaos of his early life.

Like the rest of Jabiim, he carries a hatred for the Jedi Order, especially Anakin Skywalker. He also travels with a contigent of Nimbus Commandos, which serve basically the same role for him as the IG-100 Magnaguards did for Grievous.

Appearance: Dillon Nacre

Personal quote: "You can't trust the Republic. You can't trust the Jedi. All you can trust is yourself, and your blaster."

Marvel's
Name: Brike Candu
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Homeworld: Coruscant
Main weapon: Vibrant blue lightsaber
Side weapon: Blaster
Affiliation: Jedi Order
Occupation: Jedi
Rank: Jedi Knight
Personal Ship: None
Short History:
Brike's parents were Mandalorian, but were killed when she was only 4 months old. She was found by Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi, who took her to the Jedi Temple on Tython to be trained. She was a particularly difficult student to be trained, most of the other Jedi there were in constant doubt that she would become an accomplished Jedi because of her backround, and few other Padawans wanted to be her friend. But she pressed on, undetered by the dubious Jedi Council.
All of her ancestors were Mando, so she had warrior blood in her veins and sometimes has a hard time controlling her temper, which is her biggest challenge. She sees Obi-wan as a father to her, but is unaware of most of her past besides what others have accidentally let slip.

Appearance: The lightsaber may look a little purple on some monitors.

Valkore's
Name: Valkore Fraust
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Homeworld: Coruscant
Main weapon: SG-4 Blaster rifle.
Side weapon: IR-5 Blaster pistol.
Affiliation: Remnant
Occupation: Republic Soldier
Rank: Sergeant

Personal Ship: V-19 Torrent fighter.

Appearance: Valkore stands six foot three, with short, messy black hair. His facial hair is usually lightly grown in. His appearance is very friendly out of uniform.

Short History: Valkore was born to a wealthy family on Coruscant. Both parents were involved in Politics, as Valkore understood nothing of it. He was well educated and had opportunities for good jobs brought to him by his parents. All were turned down. The one thing that he was greatly interested in, was military. In his mid-twenties, Valkore enlisted in the Republic military. Upon enlistment, his parents were upset. Not so much a hardened veteran, Valkore remains a loyal soldier with a subtle attitude towards almost everyone.

(Feels good to try something new. It's been a while since I've typed any of these up. Are the weapons/Occupation/Rank/Personal ship slots ok? I'm a little too used to GCW and Stormtrooper RP.)

Name: Aurora Starfall
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Species: Zeltron offshoot
Homeworld: Zeltros
Main weapon: 30 centimeters long hilt made from forged dura-steel. Dual-phase, all weather capable. Silver blade. Pressure sensor with lock. Three focusing crystals.
Side weapon: DL-44 heavy blaster pistol.
Affiliation: Remnant, Jedi Order (Republic Knights)
Occupation: Sentinel
Rank: Jedi Knight

Personal Ship: Shadow Circus Eta-2.

Showing promises, Aurora was quickly selected to be a padawan and received a few years of formal training before the Battle of Geonosis tour the galaxy asunder. Shortly afterwards she found herself labeled a “commander” and her master a “general” by dictate of the Supreme Chancellor.

Clone Troopers and warships were made available. Together with her master Aurora traveled from system to system, planet to planet, battle to battle, her baptism of fire was one she would never forget. Never shrinking form the line of duty or from a challenge, Aurora immersed herself into her task, learning quickly, not only from her Master, but also from the clone troopers assigned the her masters army.

As she traveled from one conflict to the next she found that her best place was in the cockpit of a starfighter, be it the Delta-7, Eta-2, or the big Y-wing. Though the crucible of combat a deep bond was forged with her master as well as the bond, she shared with the troops that over time, were assigned for her to command. When High Jedi General Master Yoda splintered the Order and left Coruscant a hollow feeling started to grow as Aurora followed her master to Tython.

She stopped warring anything of bright color and even repainted her Eta-2 and astromech a shade of dull grey. This feeling grew and eventually led to a falling out with her master and her sub-sequent leaving the Order to join the Remnant as a Republic Knight. Once back in the fight, her attitude improved vastly and she seemed like her old self, but as the war wound down to a close Aurora’s personality changed.

To long of exposure to the intense emotions generated by the life and death struggle on the battlefield she learned that she had grown accustom to them, and longed to experience the “rush” of combat, to the point of volunteering for some of the most dangers missions available.

HoloNews Update: This is HNE, bringing you galactic news at its finest. Confederacy-Republic relations continue to become rough, particularly after Head-of-State Tavian Demici demanded that Kashyyyk be turned over to Confederate control. Meanwhile, the Hydian Federation has been reported ordering several Imperator-Class Star Destroyers from Kuat. The Confederacy, after hearing of this, has begun questioning the Federation's intentions. President Tessa Mondor, however, assures all leaders that the warships are merely a defense precaution.

In other news, HoloNet actor Cal Nemms is staring in a new...

Giddean Kuat skimmed through the contract on his desk. It was flimsi, one of the few oddities of his personality being a preference for this old form of information exchange simply for the tactile feeling of the pages between his hands. The contract was fairly straight forward, but that wasn't why he was looking at it. The Hydian Federation had finally decided that it needed to patrol its borders and that their product was worth purchasing.

No, what bothered him was the number of ships they ordered. A measly half dozen not even enough to properly defend and entire sector. He glanced at the earning report beside the contract, noting the decline from the previous quarter.

The new powers were all staring each other down, but each was equally afraid to procure arms for fear of appearing an aggressor, and that was bad for his business. He needed some way to beef up his sales.

He needed a war.

And a war would come.

Dillon Nacre viewed the Confederate leadership as consistently becoming as weak and unreliable as the Republic he rebelled from more than a decade ago.

Not that he was against his leaders. No, he was still a loyal servant of the Confederacy. Rather, he was frustrated by the brokered peace, and the sin of the Jedi, Jedi that he swore he'd kill.

He was tired of sitting around. He was growing impatient, sitting on base at Jabiim, waiting for something to happen, to give him an excuse to bring the galaxy closer to war. He needed a war, because he was a warrior. He needed to kill again.

And not just anyone. He wanted to kill the Republic, and the Jedi, the traitorous kath hounds who'd abandoned his world in it's time of need.

Maybe that explained why he was more than happy to approve Senior Military Strategist Dal Fak of Geonosis's plan to modernize and increase the military, in anticipation of renewing the war effort at Kashyyyk and Dac.

So here he was, a month after the original missive had been sent to Kuat, requesting a business deal that would provide the CIS with the relatively new and powerful Imperator-class Destroyer. There were already rumors that the Hydians were buying them, and the Republic had a sector fleet's worth of them in their entire arsenal.

Now, he was ready for his impending meeting with Giddean Kuat. With any luck, the two would come to an agreement, and the CIS would soon have a fleet of the ships, ready to pummel the Jedi and Republic dogs into space dust.

Just one hour left, until he arrived in the system...

War.
The sole purpose of RC-1395, Teroch.
Ten years of training to kill. Watching his brothers die in his arms on their very first combat mission. Things like that righted a man. He knew his purpose. He knew all he was ever supposed to be.

But you see, he had different plans.

Leaning back on a chair (with his feet on the table in front of him) in the Arca Barracks on Coruscant, loud metal music playing in the little contained world of his bucket. He was tossing a knife up in the air and catching it, his brothers around the room doing other various things.
They had just gotten back from a minor recon mission. Nothing they needed to do. Another example of bad allocation of good resources. The Republic strikes again. This was their down time. Most of it would be enjoyed in the barracks and any other time would be spent in the company of various romantic interests (which a normal lifespan allowed them to enjoy wholly) or eating.
Teroch tossed the knife up again, this time letting it fall into the table with a loud THUD and the twang of the blade rocking back and forth a few times. The sound was soon replaced by the sound of his 'work' comlink. He shut off his music, picked up the comm with some reluctance, then answered it like a good soldier.

Nine-five here. Yes sir, we're all here. Yes, we're ready to ship out. Oh. Here? Yes sir, we'll be there.

Teroch clicked off his comlink and switched to his squad's frequency.

Up and at 'em boys, we get to go play teachers.

War was calling.

((I'm going to go with calling the Imperial-class the Imperator-class since the empire didn't come into being and the ship didn't receive the designation of Imperial-class until after the empire's formation))

Lira Wessex stepped into the room and gave a short nod to Gidean as the door slid shut behind her. "Chief, I've been looking at the proposed changes to the Imperator-class for sale to the Confederacy, and I'm uncertain of the wisdom of such changes."

Giddean smiled faintly at the designer, still a brilliant young woman despite the years that had passed since her creation, the Imperator-class had first been launched. Now the new designs she'd been working on had begun to bear fruit, and the Executor-project was nearing the point where a prototype would be constructed. "Lira, you are worried about the computerization we're putting in to lower their crew requirements?"

"Yes, surely the confederacy has enough droids to crew the ship simply that way." Lira glanced at the desk he sat behind, "If we're to do this then the number of crew required to operate the ship will be cut by several orders of magnitude. The space allocated to crew could be used to stow large numbers of combat droids for ground assault."

"Yes, I'd say they could store about 100k droids deactivated in that scenario. But don't forget during the war the thousands they stored upon their Lucrehulk-class ships. This is nothing new, unless you're concerned that your husband's continued loyalty to the republic is clouding your judgement?" Giddean arched an eyebrow, "Do not worry about it Lira. While the ship's are a match for the Republic variant their crews are not, and if the situation becomes unbalanced we could simply offer the reduced crew variant to the Republic." He shrugged, "Three-hundred and seventy people manning a kilometer long ship was par for the confederacy during the war, if the Republic hadn't been so resistant to computerization in their ships the Imperator would have always had a much smaller crew." Giddean glanced at his chrono, "The Confederacy Delegation will be arriving soon, I best get ready." With a wave of his hand he dismissed the designer and glanced at the contract details, "I wish Raith Sienar had accepted my offer of a partnership, our Imperator-class ships would be ideal platforms for his new fighters.

As expected, the Alto Stratus came out of hyperspace at the designated drop point, and under a light escort of Kuat courrier ships, found it's way at the Main Kuat Facility.

A few short minutes later, Dillon was ferried over on Sheathipede-class transport shuttle, escorted only by a pair of Nimbus Commandos, which largely served a mere ceremonial purpose (they were armed only with their side blasters).

Upon arrival in the VIP Hangar of the facility, the ramp of the transport lowered, and from it descended the Jabiimi warlord and his body guards, now guests of Kuat Drive Yards.

Giddean's com beeped, "Dillon Nacre has arrived."

Giddean Kuat nodded and stood, "Thank you, I'll be there in a moment." He stood and pulled his uniform into shape and headed for the turbolift. Within a moment he arrived at the hangar bay.

He strode down the red marble tiles of the hangar bay and smiled, "Welcome to Kuat. I hope this visit will be profitable for both our peoples."

Dillon offered the man a thin, but polite smile. He wasn't one who was much for pleasantries, but understood the necesity to have them in negotions. "My thanks for the warm welcome, Giddean."

The man nodded once, his two guards dropping a bit farther behind him, leaving Nacre to speak with the Kuat exec. "Some of my allies felt that I was wasting my time in coming here, but I'm never one to play with the same toys year after year."

He was of course referring to the fact that the CIS had been using Trade Federation, Geonosian, and Techno Union products for the last 14 years, most of which were original models. Even if it had worked before, and was still competant now, he was a man of change and improvement.

That, and he preffered man power over automation.

"You arrived just in time, we've begun a redesign of the Imperator-class to reduce its crew requirements and increase the ship's automation." Giddean gestured toward the turbolift, "The Kuat Sector Defense Fleet has already greatly reduced the crew requirement of the craft, and the latest upgrade will reduce it even further. Even if you prefer manpower over droidpower, having 30,000 plus people as a crew requirement would be a significant drain on your resources. We think that with the computerization of many systems we can reduce the crew requirements of the Imperator-class below 1,000 beings. Allowing you to field a larger force with fewer recruits."
