The circus was in town and you couldn't wait to see it. So with some of your friends, you go to the circus together on a beautiful Saturday night. You are sitting in the bleachers, enjoying all the circus has to offer. You are eagerly chatting with your friends, when a mysterious black powder fills the tent and you black out.
When you awake a few hours later, you see the ring master smiling down at you, who happens to be chained to a table.
"Welcome to my circus, my dear. You are about to become one of the members of our circus! I hope you don't mind!"the ring master laughs, all kinds of weird materials on a table beside where you have been lain. There are also all kinds of machines and evil looking tools in the room.
So it would seem that they are going to change you into one of their members and make you a permanent part of the circus. What will happen, you will just have to come and find out!

7. I did not think I needed to post this, but please be respectful of your fellow RPers. If they do something wrong, POLITELY tell them, so they can fix it. If they do not, then PM me and let me know.
8. This one is connected to rule number one. If you are thinking about doing something that involves the setting, wait until I let you know if it worked or not. Think of me as the Thread Master who says what works for the setting (ex. that you encounter a locked door and you tried to get in). If your action is involving another chatacter, get in contact with that RPer and figure it out togther or what for their character to react to the action (ex, that your character tried to punch out another person's character).
9. Please do not do one liners, unless you really have to. Sometimes people complain if people use one liners.
Note: The rules also apply to my crew, so do not think they are above the rules wink

He didn't like new recruits, mostly just becuase he didn't like new people. He was always more then willing to follow orders though, so when he was told to meet the new additions to the circus he didn't put up a fuss.
They had finished the show hours ago so the grounds where empty and silent.
Doki waited patiently on the bit top stage for the others to arrive and for the new ones to awaken.
(( sorry didn't know what else to post @_@) and I'm kinda assuming a bit so if it's out of line or anything I'll edit Dea.))

Samantha awoke with her head pounding. She tried to get up, but found herself strapped down on some kind of table with a sheet covering her from the bottom of her neck all the way down to her feet. She felt like something was strangely wrong, though she did not know what. She guessed she would just have to see what was going to happen to her. She didn't see much light in the place she was, except for a solitary lamp swinging back and forth above her head.

Lydia stood next to a cage where a lion was pacing back and forth, breathing very heavily as it did so. She toyed with the whip in her hands carelessly, looking at the back of her left at the long scars that ran down it. They were still fairly new, only days old. She had recieved them not long after she had arrived here at the circus when she was learning to do her job. However, she should've known that being a lion tamer came with risks, as did many jobs here. She'd only managed to survive by faking to the lion that she wasn't afraid, though in truth she had nearly been petrified with her fear.

The whistling of a slow groove could be heard in one part of the circus area, obviously not very loud or remarkable. June walked among the various cages and boxes, pulling at the strings of a slingshot she always kept with her. Her wild hair, tamed by a bandanna, as usual, bounced slightly as she walked. Despite the dark dealings that had perspired this evening, June found herself in a merry mood. It must have been the standing ovation she had received. Something about making the crowd that lively just made her all tingly inside. Smiling, she ran her fingers against a cage that currently held a lion. She figured that the person on the other side of the cage would have his attention.

However, Lydia had not been keeping the lion busy, but had been lost in her own thoughts. The lion turned towards the girl that ran her fingers along his cage, letting out a low growl as he walked closer to her. Raising a paw, her prepared to swipe at the girl's fingers. There was a snap of the whip and the lion recoiled, letting out a deep growl. The whip snapped again, closer to the lion's face this time. Lydia had looked up from her thoughts to see the lion had turned it's attention to the other girl. Walking over to the other girl from around the cage, Lydia looked at her. "Are you all right?" She asked quietly. Any hint of concern was abscent from her voice as she spoke.

June murmured something as she watched the big cat approach. From behind the bars, she was fairly certain that he could do her no harm. Still, it seemed he had other ideas about that. The whip was an unpleasant sound, but saved her from losing her fingers, so she did not fuss at the owner. After all, Lydia was the tamer. With a smile, the sharpshooter nodded. The other woman seemed devoid of concern, but June wouldn't let that bring her down.
"I'm great, actually," she smiled brightly. It fell for a moment, "But, uh... I'm sorry about your cat. I'll mind my fingers next time." With that, she smiled again and wiggled her free hand slightly.

"It's alright. He usually doesn't care unless he's hungry." Lydia replied. "Then he'll take the first thing he can get ahold of. Hands, feet, heads..." The list was long of what he could get at, but she decided not to get into detail. "You're the sharp shooter, June, right?" She asked, changing the subject as she coiled up her whip.

"That's me," smiled June. "And there's no mistake, you must be Lydia the Lion Tamer!" She brought her voice to an outrageous volume as she cried the woman's name. At the same time, she leaned back slightly and spread out her arms, thinking herself to be very much like their ringmaster himself. In a fashion not so characteristic of herself, she let out a laugh that should have belonged to a person with a bigger belly.

Lydia smiled slightly. "Let me guess, it was the lion that tipped you off, huh?" She asked, walking over to a cooler she'd brought with her to cage, digging inside for a large leg of meat and throwing into the cage for the lion. Feeding him had been her original intent when she had brougth the cooler over. "It's kinda a big hint." She smiled, closing the lid of the cooler.

Returning to her usual stature, the sharpshooter gave a slightly overdone shrug, then shook her head.
"Anyone could stand near a lion," she said. "It was the whip, really. It's a pretty foul tool, but effective against a lion, I would suppose." June grinned, then put her hands to her hips.
