The rather spacious apartment above Lycanthrope HQ - Club FM. Typically lived in by Alphas or elders.

Once you reach the top of the stairs you arrive in the hallway, which in itself is rather big. On the left when you enter a door leads off to the lounge, on the right the kitchen. Straight ahead there were two doors - a master bedroom and a spare room.. The bathroom could be found attached to the bedroom with two doors - one to the hall and one into the bedroom.

Though far less graceful than he normally was the Lycanthrope dropped down from his own apartment above. He entered, as he so often used to do during the reign of Dusk, by the window.
The animal was nursing the mother of all hangovers from a skull cracked by a rune magic detonation. His own highly accelerated healing factor slowed to a near crawl under such circumstances, though it was pleasant to know other such creatures would have been killed outright. Still, he hated being above a nightclub, it was loud even through the soundproofing. And of course now there was something clomping around in the supposedly abandoned alphas apartment below him... That did not bode well.
Standing up from his entrance the mans wolfen ears flicked in the direction of the other individual, his red eyes shifted slightly as his nose caught some far more recent memory. "I know your smell." the man snarled through his fangs. "Why have you returned to this place?"
The black tail swished from behind him as it always did, serving as another marker of the further lose of humanity. And without any shirt on to further hide the many scars of battle Jaden appeared a little more ready for confrontation than the man with the scent masked in the dust and heat of the west.

"I know your smell from what is embedded in this room." Jaden said, his tail swishing across the dust in the floor. "I do not know how you know me. But you're right, the position is cursed. Why else would you come back to find me here." His skull was throbbing horribly, talking was hurting.

"I don't have to knock in my own domain." Jaden snarled, the vibrations shaking his skull. "You are to leave here. I refuse to allow another male to return to what has become my territory and flaunt his survival." He flexed his claws. "I will devour your child if you don't leave."

"Not an ego trip... Dominance." Jaden stated. "But I doubt a human turned wolf understands something so important."
His wolfen ears flattened in aggression as he stared down the other male. He could hear the other males heart beat harder in his chest as his anger rose. He didn't really mean his threat against the males family. It wasn't his style to threaten loved ones.
"And I have no need of your blood. I am breed of a pure blood pack and have lived over half a century. Do you really believe I needed to inherit anything from you?" Again, a cheap shot on the lineage of the Texas alpha, but in this delicate situation it was well deserving. Even under the reign of Dusk that alpha had always treated Jaden with respect and equality. It was incredibly difficult to see what was essentially a puppy as a threat, but he had inherited his blood and was therefore a male to compete with. Funny that the didn't know anything about each other.

Jaden felt horribly insulted by this other male. And of course there was the scratching from behind the black door. It would be so easy to just... let go. Perhaps his head would stop hurting. But he couldn't. If the door was opened then not only would this male die but so would all of the other innocents in the club below. Better to keep it closed.
"Dusk didn't leave me in charge. I simply took over because I as mated to Myythren at the time. I had no desire for the position." he said, glaring at the ignorant male. "And I have no need for the alpha blood of this pack. I inherited half of the alpha bloodline from my pack across the sea... when I drank my fathers blood from his missing throat." It was not something he was fond of, and one of his more horrible memories. "So you should know. My blood is pure, decended from a far lineage and I stole the blood of the alpha male in my escape." His tail bristled irritably.

"It is unkind to tell an opponent what they are up against." Jaden snarled. The snarl was deep, animalistic, something that should not have come from the throat of anything vaguely human. "And you still know nothing of me or my power. I have only the hint of an alphas blood. I don't need it. Now leave... I have no use for a decrepit male that ran from his position."

The very concept was an insult. To think that he had left the pack long enough for two alphas to pass through his vacant position and then return professing that he and the pack were better for it. Madness or ego, it was hard to tell which was accurate. People had died, more had suffered. The pack had constantly been coming under the hammer of some external force, and yet through his own determination and strength he had been able to not only hold the pack together but gain ground in their territory. The claws of his right hand clacked together and sparked. He could rip the males head off... but even then anger wouldn't leave him, it would only build and build and the blood lust would follow and more people would die.
He felt the tug in the back of his mind right as he was about to lunge. And instead he fell back into his mind.
The rigid stance of his body dissolved and he became calm. The sharp and closed eyes opened and brightened, but saddened. His wolf ears drooped sadly as did his tail. "You left. And so many people died. So many wolves. So many humans. I didn't know you but you still left. I don't understand why you took your mate and pup away."
