Stevie Ray's #1 (THE #1, not a repro!)
but on a more realistic note, I would kill to own a Gibson Faded Doublecut in TV yellow right now.

Gibson ES 345 - maybe not this color, though it looks good under stage lights.

I'm to the point where my dream guitar isn't a Gibson. It seems that everybody wants one ow, so there is no originality in having them anymore. Instead I want that Shecter C1-Classic.

The Gold Top is a rare bread indeed and with much originality same with the Faded Double Cuts. YOu jsut don't see them. 3nodding I would also kill for a Jay Turser Violin guitar. 3nodding

I don't really see anything in Gibson guitars, but considering I'm a metalhead and not really into rock, that's probably irrelevant.
I don't really like my current Strat look-alike, however, I do still sort of like the body (It's a fairly basic body), the head stock just usually annoys me.
For that reason, I wouldn't mind an ESP LTD M-II, or Jackson Dinky or Soloist. I'd love an ESP guitar - the LTD series are more lower end, cheaper guitars of their range?
For more looks, some crazy a** BC Rich guitar would be nice (Though I hear the factory building is actually pretty dodgy and they break by themselves). I am picky with necks too, I like the wooden necks without finish/plastic-feeling coating on them. An unfinished, smooth neck that is easy to slide up and down on.
And then in the end, it pretty much boils down to this; I don't really have a guitar I'd want, just many guitars I think would be nice but I'd have to test them out before considering even buying them. rofl

I wish I could have Larry LaLonde's custom ESP LTD.
Simple, but it's a fantastic guitar.

Gibson not for metal?
tell that to Hetfield and Hammet ( who have both used Lps), and to Zack wylde, not to mention many others who play gibsons...
