So I was bored the other day and decided to look at the stuff on Etsy. I found some great-looking corsets, for very reasonable prices. (I was thinking that if I didn't find anything in the way of a prom dress I liked off the rack, then I'd just get a corset and a tulle skirt and go like that :3 It'd be me, and I'd be guaranteed that nobody would be wearing my dress ;3)
So, I was wondering if anyone's ever purchased corsets off etsy? If so, how has the quality been? I realize it'd depend which seller you purchase from, but some generalizations, even about etsy in general, would be nice :3 I've only bought two pairs of shoes online XD So I don't really know what I'm doing here.
I found a whole bunch I love, and they're mostly custom-made, which is nice- I can coordinate with the skirt :3
Thanks, darlings <3

Here are some of the ones I've been considering.
cute pink and black overbust
Black and white overbust
custom colour with sweetheart top
longline white silk overbust

I've been seriously considering a corset from this seller, just because they sound like they know what they're talking about, the price is affordable, even with shipping, and the feedback sounds very good :3 And they have longline styles, which I need, being 6'0" D;
But they don't say how many bones they use, whereas this one clearly states 20, and they do custom work (longline 8D)
I love this, but I'd need to lose two inches O: And it's on sale :/

Gah. Not digging the whole needing-longline-style thing. It's difficult to find, at least on Etsy XP And where I'm pretty chubby, I want it to be long enough to hold all my jiggly bits in, rather than squeeze them out one way or the other.
Do you guys think I should keep Etsy as an option, or search other online sites?

Although I've never bought a corset on Etsy - I've bought many other things - and since its all handmade, I find the quality to be superb. You're also supporting independent designers - which is always a plus.
It is difficult to tell the quality through a few pictures , but if you do go with etsy, I'd suggest this one. I've seen her work other places, and she seems to have good prices.
Custom is always best. If a store offers it - take advantage! That way you'll (hopefully) have something that fits you like a glove, and will last a very long time.
