(This is while she's a cub)
She'd managed to escape her adopted father's watchful eye for once. Wind Whisperer was gone hunting for her, and Teegan took this time to explore her new surroundings. Before, she'd lived in the forest, learned how to climb trees and get fruit down. Teegan even learned to get a few birds, and which birds made her sick.
Today, she figured she'd learn how to catch a rabbit, or fish, or something. She was in the plains, what more could she ask for? It was flat, boring, and she'd never seen another cub around, not that Wind would let her see anyone anyway. He usually kept the cub so close to him; as if she were his life. Of course the cub was oblivious to the fact the she was his life. Teegan didn't know she made Wind happy or any of that jazz. He hardly showed her any affection.
She padded out onto one of the gentle hills and sat there, frowning. She couldn't scent a rabbit, or anything! Is that why Wind always went to the forest to hunt? Well, fudge. "Man! I wanted to get a rabbit.." Her voice echoed loudly through the empty plains and she huffed, eyes still looking out.

 Shiva smiled proudly to herself as she trotted trough the plains happily. She had managed to get away from her father's watchful eye and for once was able to do whatever she wanted without having an adult tell her to be careful or she could hurt herself. Betzalel loved her and she knew it but it could be overbearing. He was so overprotective and her aunt was no better, in fact she was even worse if it was possible, because Shiva was not her cub and she was extra careful to not let her get hurt.
Shiva was tired of being treated like a fragile little snowflake, hence the cub's little disappearing act. She would be back of course, she wasn't stupid enough to think she could survive on her own. All she wanted was some time to do some exploring on her own. She stopped dead in her tracks when she heard a voice. "Who's there?" She asked, red eyes searching. It sounded like a cub, maybe someone she could play with.

A voice caught the gray females attention and she blinked hard, turning her eyes this way and that. Teegan's green dots along her shoulders moved with her as she walked toward the voice. "Hello? Someone there?" She called out, little tail flicking to and fro. Her voice still continued to echo, but she didn't care. There was someone else here, and it made her want to play!
"I'm Teegan!" She answered to the disembodied voice. "Come out so we can play!" No, she wasn't stupid. She was just fearless. The other sounded like around her age, so Teegan figured she had nothing to worry about! Just some good old fashioned fun with a random cub before her guardian came back.

Shiva's ears twitched in all directions, trying to pinpoint where the voice was coming from. "I'm Shiva." She replied after some consideration. "Where are you?" She asked as she hopped forward a few paces. This turned out to be the a bad move. She jumped over a tall flop of grass in her stride and almost landed on the one standing on the other side. "Woah!" She somehow twisted her body mid-leap and landed side wise, almost falling down on her side. However, she only managed to lightly bump into the other person.
"Sorry!" She apologised as she backed up from the others personal space and finally got a good look at her. It was another cub after all, tough she was a few months older than Shiva. "Hello..uh, Teegan?" She greeted, feeling embarrassed for almost running her over. "Some first impression, eh?" She chuckled slightly.
