I asked this goth boy I have a crush on, Dakota Callahan, to the first dance of the school year on monday. He said he hates dances and doesn't want to go to the the Backwards, but he wants to hang out with me sometime.
It's now saturday. The dance is tonight, and I'm not going. Dakota hasn't talked to me since telling me he wants to hang out. In fact, he seems to be avoiding me. Like a disease.
Bummer...
What should I do about it? Give up on the perfect goth boy? Or work up the courage to confront him?
