So there were some rumors in 08 and 09 now about a new sequel for Kid Icarus for Wii (for those who don't know, PIT from Smash bros Brawl). That maybe Factor 5 is creating the sequel, supposedly where Pit becomes a fallen angel, according to Wiinintendo.net, Wiikombo.net. AND youtube. And along with that, there is already concept art and a couple of animations and everything.
Sakurai (brawl creator) insisted that Factor 5 was making it, but the company themselves never said anything about it yet. Besides, this game may possibly not come out, 'Earthbound Wii' was also on the list of games coming out, yet nobody made that game. But who knows, maybe the rumors are true and we'll have a really fun game to play and remember (that is, if Factor 5 doesn't mess up).
What do you guys think of it?

I found that out a while ago xd OH alright xDDDD Well, he has his own likes and dislikes I guess, I'm a Kid Icarus fan so I was really curious when I heard the rumors

Yeah I remember when everybody was flipping out and making stupid guesses at what Sakurai meant at the last update of the Smash Bros. Site. I guees they were right. razz

I'd like to think that if anybody is making it, it's Retro. They'd do a much better job with it on pretty much all fronts.

i hate the original kid icaris also. but that doesn't mean a new one will suck.
after all, i hate the original metroid for NES, but I love the metroid series now. including the GBA remake of the NES one. biggrin

Waynebrizzle I'd like to think that if anybody is making it, it's Retro. They'd do a much better job with it on pretty much all fronts. If it wasn't retro they'd make it too casual.

Back when I made this thread people started talking about how to eat assholes.
I never really played the first one, much as I never played the original Metroid. But if Retro's making it, it would be different from the original, much as Metroid Prime goes into its own story.

First game is too frustratingly difficult to be any real fun.
GB game is just as hard, but fun, at the same time.
I do so enjoy it.
I doubt we'll be seeing anything Kid Icarus related any time soon.
And if we do, it should really be for DS.
2-D vertical scrolling platformer that uses both screens at once allowing more of the stage to been seen.
Perhaps the same could be said of Ice Climbers.
