Would you ever name your child after a character from .Hack?
I'd name my kid Kite or Gardenia

I think that would be kind of cruel. Naming a child Gardenia or Mia or Gabi wouldn't be too bad, but naming them names that aren't normally names in the real world (Like Butt Rice or Piros the Third) would just set them up to get made fun of. And then when the child asks what made their parents choose their name, you would have to tell them you named them after characters in a series, and that might not go over too well. Eg. If you named your kid Gaspard. "I named you after a round, pink, beast person who was pretty cowardly in this video game, Gaspard." Or you could be nonspecific, but then a little research could lead to them finding that out.

unless you Japanese then that would be ok and every one into that stuff would be like omg Kite and every one would be like were =O and only your son would be there xD

I like weird names. xD
Well, I would never have kids, but if I did, I'd probably name them after FF characters, as lame as that may sound. I like .hack names, but FF names are 10x cooler.

I would never name my kid Ryou. There was only one kid out of all the kids I taught in Japan that was a little brat. And his name was Ryou.
I don't think I'll name any of my kids after .hack characters. My kids' names are going to have to be pretty normal since my last name is 14 letters long. o.o

Hm. I would use the names Marlo, Tabby and Sakaki. Haseo is bad either since Hosea was already done.
