Why must we be alone?
Would it be safe to create my own Quija board? I want to make mine out of wood and burn the letters and numbers in to the board. I ask because I don't want to annoy the spirits with my creating it.Well it's real love....

It's spelled Ouija.
And personally, I would advice against making one. Unless you really know how to use one. :/
They can be quite harmful if you're just planning on playing with one.
You can just make a pendulum. They're safer, and mainly meant for yes or no questions. :]

I agree. ouija boards can be a very dangerous occult tool if not used correctly, but I strongly am against it because it is quite difficult to send back what you summoned in the first place. You also have no way of telling what entity or energy that is surrounding you at the time of its use. ouija boards are meant for the seasoned(experienced users). Even then it is still used with caution. the pendulum is safer and it is more common twards the use of talking to spirits that are currently in presence around you. maybe it would be best if you were to not get near the occult at all.

I wouldn't do it if I were you. Yes you can make your own ouija board. In fact many witches feel that a home made one is more powerful than a store bought one. But they are very dangerous and should only be used by skilled witches. I would stick with tarot card or a pendulum like some one else already said.

i would say its fine to make your own, plenty of people do. when i get mine though i want the nifty glow in the dark one i keep hearing about ^.^
ive enver used one and have been told alot of bad things about them but ive got some back up plans just in case somehting does go wrong, i honestly dont think it will though.
just remember that if something does happen you are not just putting yourself in danger but also anyone or anything close to you. this is why ill be surrounding all my pets' enclosures in salt and put up little charms.

I always suggest not to. When using a Ouija Board, your allowing the spirit to control you. Which is something you don't want to do. Not to mention it opens up all kinds of spirit dimensions and doesn't really let the right ones in. neutral

I say go ahead. Make the ouija board and develop your own opinions about it. It's one of those things that many people say not to use, but for little reason other than friend-of-a-friend anecdotes about someone who contacted an evil spirit that said scary things and made them have a headache. Take other folks' views into consideration while using the ouija board, sure, but don't be put off experimenting on your own.
