This is a castle made entirely of dark marble and stone, made in the gothic style, and is located deep in the mountains on a steep edge. The name of the castle, "Václav", is the Czech version of the name Wenceslas, which means "more glory" in Slavic.
In many ways, this castle seems almost like a copy off of the basic ideas of what "Dracula's Castle" might look like. There are large stained glass windows, sharply reaching towers, and a large court-yard in which all the plant-life, except a single red rose bush in the center of the yard, has died. The walls surrounding the court yard are, for the most part, large mirrors... it seems almost like a fun-house, with the black and white over-grown patio way leading to and from the yard.
Inside, there are more rooms than could be counted. Each is wonderfully decorated with the highest of quality, although a little dusty. Every bedroom, as well as the dining rooms and the living areas have huge stone fireplaces that you could stand in with marble counter tops and beautiful custom-made iron work in the form of flowers and vines over it. There are also many librarys, with books hundreds of years old and in just about every language covering just about every topic, however, most seem to be specifically about alchemy and black and white magic... the oddest thing is that no one seems to live here, although there are so many paintings inside of so many people, it is rather curious as to who they are.

Edward approached the castle doors, wondering how long it would take Kairi to notice him. He pushed the door, and it slip noiselessly open. The echoes of his footsteps the only thing that would give him away. "I wonder where she might be?" Edward said quietly to himself, as he reached the stairway and headed up to where Avarice's lab was located.

Kirai heard him, and walked down the hall in silence twords the stairs. She was dressed in a black velvet dress, her skin was as pale as ever, and her hair had grown very long, a light blond color with soft curls. Glancing down the stairs, seeing Edward, she smiled softly and curtsied to him.

"Good." She said in a quiet voice, and walked down the stairs, gently holding up her skirt just enough so it didn't drag behind her. "Edward, would you like me to get you something to drink?" It was nice to see her dear friend again.

Her smile remained. Kirai gently tugged lightly on his sleeve and motioned for him to follow her up the stairs. "It'll be easier to catch up if we talk in the smaller living room up here, set aside for such occasions."

Edward followed her to the room, glad to see that she was still doing alright. "Have you gone out of the castle much?"

Sitting down on the sofa, the room was lit by candles in addition to the dim light coming in through the etched windows. Kirai let out a silent sigh and gave a slightly guilty smile, saying, "I... have left at all, not really. However, you seem to have some news, Edward. What all has happened recently?"

"I was captured in the Black Rose Forest and drug off to the Asylum. I wasn't there long at all though becasue the person who was in the cell as me was getting broken out that same night." Edward sat down on the same sofa across from her. "But that's not what was bothering me. I had a strange feeling, like something is going to change the balance of power in the world soon. I was wondering if you had any insight."

Kirai listened to him carefully, then responded to his question. "As you know well, I've been a nosferatu for some time... however, being separated from things gives you better insight into them than anything else...." Pausing for a moment, she continued. "There have been a few things, separate forces, that are slowly forming, either now, or in the near future. Also, our time of peace, naturally speaking, has only so much longer a life till yet another great rebirth, such as history has shown us time and time again."

Edward listened intently. "So how can we prevent this from happening? I would much like to put a stop to the events that will cause war. After all, you know just as well as me what war is like first hand." Edward leaned back, and had sort of a flash back of the events leading up to the end of the war. The friends lost, the people he had to kill.

"Finding and exposing them would only do damage, Edward... I can tell you that. Keep in mind, also, the Black Cross itself was underground for so long, and I can say with certainty we only would of acted quicker if exposed." Kirai said gently, putting her left hand into her right.

She opened her mouth to answer, but then closed it, thinking for a moment how to respond. Looking over to the side at a candle, her eyes returned to her friend. "...yes, very much."
