Perhaps Wényǎ wasn't the smartest or the fastest learner in her family, but one thing had rapidly become clear to her: lounging around by yourself was a true privilege. Normally her days were filled with learning everything she could from her mother and her two Ladies-in-Waiting, not to mention fooling around with her sisters, and there wasn't much time to hang around and do absolutely nothing.
Which was fine, usually, but sometimes a girl just needed to unwind and not have to watch out for pouncing sisters or nagging adults, really. Which was why Takara had snuck away from the rest - not far away, mind, because she wasn't that stupid, but far enough that their normal racket had been reduced to a slight buzzing sound in the distance - and was currently doing just that: lounging leisurely and getting a hold of her own thoughts.
