Several days had passed since his last conversation with Tawa'di, leaving time for him to settle once more with his mate after returning from his most recent pass in searching for their son. He awoke that morning with the feeling that it was time, pushing himself to his paws before stretching out slowly, listening to his body creak as his muscles stretched.
"Urgh..." He shook his mane out before leaning down, touching his nose gently to his mate's neck to rouse her. "It's morning, Kindo...."

She had been sleeping peacefully with Tambaa beside her and didn't like the idea of being pulled awake. She had missed him while he was out searching and was glad to have him back even if she didn't have news of Kivuli "Mm ..." Her nose scrunched as she tried to ignore his efforts.
It was warm and comfortable where they were. No sense in ruining that just yet ... wahtever he wanted could wait.

"Kindoroo..." He murmured softly, nuzzling her cheek before nipping lightly at her ear as their cubs had often done when neither of their parents felt like waking in the morning. "It's morning and we have a bit of ground to cover before it gets warmer. It's time to go find Tawa'di." His voice remained soft against her ear as he nudged her once more.

"Mm ..." She shifted slightly and stretched as her eyes fluttered half open. "That is today?" She had been having wonderful dreams and even though she knew she'd never get back to them wanted to try. "Do you know where about to find him?"

"I know where I last found him, and where we first found him... And I'm certain I know where to find the Bird Clan now." He nodded slowly, giving her one more nuzzle for added measure before tilting his head towards the sky. "We've not done much of anything together lately... Today seems like a beautiful day to wander. We'll take advantage of that and we'll find him."

She yawned and pulled herself up once he'd moved his head back. She still would have liked to sleep more but he was right. Today was beautiful and it would be nice to get out and do something
"So, it is a different form of bird hunting." She laughed softly.

Tawa'di was indeed where the Bird Clan resided. For the moment, they were staying cental in the lands until the children grew a bit stronger. Cubs seemed to have endless energy when they were playing, but the effort needed to move together as a clan seemed to make them more tired, and especially loud. So they had decided to rest for a bit, and move into another area of the lands within half a month.
The old lion rested his head on his forepaws, his eyes shut as he dozed away. Mana had the children at the moment, and Tawa'di was enjoying a little quiet time. His ears needed the rest of shrill, excited voices.

"When you put it that way." He couldn't help but laugh, shaking his head before glancing at his mate. "Yes... Only this time it's just you and I and we're not teaching our little ones the proper way to pounce." A smirk curved the corners of his mouth, turning to head in the direction that he knew the Bird Clan to be in.
"At least it's not too warm yet... Although it seems like it's going to be by midday. Hopefully we'll be able to find some shade by then." Assuming their travels didn't take too long, of course. The high noon sun was never anything but far too warm against his dark coat.

"Mm, no. They've learned how to do that well enough." She laughed softly. She was for the moment waiting for one of them to pounce on something more permanent than a meal. She wasn't sure if either of them were interested in mates but she wouldn't put it past them
"We sshould get going then." She smiled as she nudged her mate so they could head toward the bird clan.

Tawa'di stirred, feeling...something. Something was coming. It was buzzing around his mind like a fly around the ear. Annoying enough to get him up. "Mmrph." Shaking his head awake, the old lion let the sun warm his muscles as he stretched, feeling the fatigue slowly melt itself away from him.
With one slow yawn, he glanced around, his green eyes scanning the horizon. What had made him awaken so? He knew that his Seeing abilities had faded as the moons past overhead; age was taking it's toll on him.
Deciding to wait a moment longer before letting his paws guide him, he swatted at a fly. Hmph, maybe it was only a fly that woke him up.

Together he and his mate padded across the Ela'wadiyi lands, traveling almost as they had before either set of their cubs had been born. The atmosphere between them was much lighter now, though. There was so much less weighing on his shoulders as there had been then. He was happier; finally content with the lot fate had handed him.
He leaned over to nudge his mate when he caught the scent of the Bird Clan's lands. "I think we're almost there... Now it's just a matter of finding him. Keep your eyes out, Kindoro."

The traveling to the other clan was in her mind a good distraction. While she loved that they had a hope now she also loved they found one that was not as close knit as most. The nomadic nature of the clans meant that she and Tambaa would still be able to enjoy the traveling they loved.
She nodded at her mates words and let her eyes scan the horizon. Eventually she nudged his shoulder and pointed toward a form she saw in the distance.

No, it was there again. That little poke in his mind. Which meant that there was something coming his way, he just couldn't See it. He grumped a bit, glancing around with his green eyes. "At least this vision isn't going quite yet," he commented.
Ah, there! That was why he was woken from his nap.
"Tambaa! Kindoro!" He stood up in an attempt to flag them down to walk his way. His joints weren't what they used to be, and he walked less and less easily than he used to.

"There he is." He smiled as he brushed his shoulder against his mate's before padding forward, calling out a return greeting to Tawa'di. "I told you that I would come find you next time... And that I would bring Kindoro with me." He seemed to have a bit of youthful excitement in his voice, a clear change from the last time they'd spoken with one another.
There were other changes as well, of course; the new markings running up one of his forelegs, starting with a spattering of ink at his toes and continuing on up until it crossed his shoulder. He bore his story proudly, just as he'd said he would.

She smiled as she saw Tawa'di and followed after Tambaa a he went to join the other male. It was good to see the elder lion again. After all he had been the one that had given them this chance to start anew.
"I must thank you Tawa'di ... you've given Tambaa back a bit of himself that he lost." She was happy to see her mate happy again, young again.
