Jacob knew when enough was enough, and they had already crossed that line and have gone way beyond it. Ubara as usual wasn't behaving; ever since the trip to the zoo he'd demanding a snake for his own.
Jacob and Chevy had both agree'd he was too young to be looking after a pet. No matter how much the presence of reptiles seemed to calm the little trollish child down.
So he was now at the park allowing Ubara off his leash if he promised to behave. The boy agree'd readily as he would do just about anything to be rid of the thing.
SO Jacob watched warily, afraid Ubara would go off and attack any of the other children there; but he was surprised as he kept to himself moving to the sand box and digging with his hands to make a rather deep hole.
He could resign himself to sit on a bench..so he hovered nearby, ready to jump in if needed.

Miles had been walking through the park, when he'd spotted someone who looked rather blue. Blue in the literal sense. He smiled, and walked over to the sand box. The first thought that came into his head was to comment about the child being ugly, but that was mean. The little oracle had been trying to be nicer lately, well, it was no surprise that he was trying, seeing as his mother was.. Well, you know.
"Hi, I'm Miles." The boy said, looking down at the toddler. "What's your name?"

Ubara looked up as he was addressed, the troll like chlid glowered up from the mount of sand he was trying to form to look like a snake. Perhaps the reason he was so enthralled by serpents was due to the numerous tattoo's on his body. He seemed a bit young to have tattoos...but they were there on his bald head and down his arms and legs.
"Bara..." He groweled in response, he then returned his focus on the snake mound of sand. It didn't even occur to him to ask in kind the other kids name. As far as he was concerned he looked..interesting...but he didn't trust strangers.
Finally though the sand was turning out dull...the kid was a tad more interesting he turned his head to look at him. Pointing one of his two fingers at him he tilted his head.
"Ju?"

"Bara? That's a weir--I mean, that's nice name." Miles said, giving the younger boy a smile. The poor kid. He probably got made fun of, and that's why he was so growly. Of course, Miles had never met anyone quite like Ubara. He'd met fae, elves, and all kinds of creatures. But this? Certainly not.
"I'm Miles." The oracle repeated, before glancing at what the boy was making. "What are you making? A snake or a bridge?" He asked, before sitting down next to the boy. "Can I help?"

The troll child had already abandoned his sand sculpture in order to pay attention to Miles. It was just sand, nothing interesting, he didn't exactly get a lot of socialization...for obvious reasons.
When Miles sat down Ubara took it upon himself to inspect him. He stood...and was rather tall for a toddler though everything about him screamed monster, from his rather long and pointed ears, to his two fingered and two toed feet.
He put his hands on Miles without asking, the thought never crossed his mind as he then continued to prod him and circle him. He tugged on Miles hair and then poked him in the ribs. A smile was growing on his face. So far he liked this Miles.

Miles watched the younger boy curiously for a moment. Yes, he certainly resembled a monster. One that Miles wouldn't have wanted to make angry. He decided to be polite. He would find less dangerous looking people--to be blunt.
"What are you doing?" He asked, moving away from Ubara with a slight frown. The oracle didn't like being poked and proded. He had enough of that from his younger sister, Ellie. She was at the pulling hair stage. Ouch. "It's not nice to touch people without asking."

He looked curiously at Miles when he was told that he wasn't being polite. Tilting his head he poked him one more time before moving to sit at Mile's feet. Scooping up a handful of sand he placed it ever so careful on Mile's shoe.
"I look at ju." he explained as he then took another handful of sand and proceeded to add that to the pile he had already started.
"I now bury you in da sand." he continued as if this was something that Miles had wanted but never known.

Miles blinked, and frowned again. Maybe this toddler was being raised by people who allowed him to poke and prod--but he certainly didn't like it. Ellie had a habit of doing just that, but she was an infant. He let her get away with it..
"Um. No, I don't want to be buried." Miles said, shaking his head. He moved so the sand on his shoe fell off. "Want to play a game instead?"
