They often start with 'There once was a _____ from ______" The 1st, 2nd and 5th lines end with the same rhyme, as do the 3rd and the 4th. The funnier, the better! Post them below, for everyone to read (:eg.
There once was a man from Brazil
whose head was shaped like a hill
when it snowed outside
from his head, sleet would slide
and so his belly was given a chill

There once was a boy named Pete
who had extremely hairy feet
one day he went for a wax
but had to pay a hefty tax
because it took 12 hours to complete!
There once was a boy named McDouble
Who did blow an enormous bubble
He then floated away,
on that very sunny day
and his Mum shouted up, “You’re in trouble!”
A zombie once ate a large brain
And no longer did he feel in pain
Because the mind that he found
Was buried deep underground
And it was Einstein's mind, how insane.
There once was a teen from New York
whose schoolmates thought he was a dork
one day he was on the news
for solving a murder through its clues
Now he's Detective Agent Spork
There once was a girl named Lisa
who ate the Leaning Tower of Pisa
She won a Nobel Prize
Because of it's size
And went off to live in Ibiza
There once was a girl named Holly
whose face looked like a dolly
She was so lovely that one day
Someone came up to her to say,
"My parrot thinks you're a right pretty Polly."
