The castle halls beside the throne room were quiet for the time being, nobody in the general area suspecting anything out of the ordinary day. But as the hallways cleared for a slight moment a worm hole opened and through it stepped a group of white clad men, accompanied by a man in dark clothes with glass armor on him and a woman dressed in shaman garb.
After the hole closed and all ten members of the intruding group had entered the area, Azerol motioned quietly for them to follow him. They had gotten as close to the royal throne room as they could without crossing any of the magical barriers that were around it and alerting the guards in the nearby area who were on patrol, so now it was time to travel on foot to the area.
Quickly but quietly moving along the hallway the group formed a traditional diamond shape, three of the assassins and the shaman around the dragon prince while the other five assassins hid in the shadows, two scouting ahead, two scouting behind, and one moving above the group. Very interesting formation, but a more secure one than they were used to doing.
Coming upon the room of the throne the group ran into a pair of royal drakards (dragon guards) on duty by the doors. The two scouting assassins took them down before they even realized what was going on, and very casually the door to the throne room was opened by the shaman.
In strolled the dragon prince, his eyes fierce looking and his wings arched behind him as he strolled in. "Lord Seriah of the dragon realm, I hearby challenge you right here and right now to a duel for the kingdom of the O dimension. Accept or die, your choice."
The assassins that had come with the prince quickly disposed of the nearby royal guards in the room, then took their places as new guards around the room. Vyvor stayed near the door and put up a barrier spell so nobody could come in or out through the one exit in the whole room.

Seriah turned slowly to face Azerol, a thin smile upon his lips. "Prince Azerol... I knew the day would come.." Seriah said, his words forming slowly, as if he was laughing at something.
"So you haven't abandoned the kindom... Pity, I was enjoying myself." Seriah shrugged off his cloak, ice eyes alight as he glared at the other dragon. He took lazy step forward, seeming to examine his fingernails as he did.
Seriah looked around the room, a light chuckle shaking the room. "I see you've taken care of my guards. Never one for a fair fight, were you Prince" Seriah's words held ice, though his dimeanor seemed calm, he had no plans to give up the throne, not without exhausting every option on hand.

"Knowing you, Seriah, I am sure more are already on the way," Azerol snarled, his eyes still dark with a deeply rooted anger. "My men are the most disciplined warriors the realms have ever seen, and will not interfere with our duel even if I am dying by your hands."
His snarl turned into a slight smirk as he added, "they are just here to make sure the playing field is even. No outside sources helping either side in any way, shape, or form. A true battle for the throne, one that should have been fought many centuries ago."
With that Azerol used his powers to throw a ring of fire around the room, separating the assassin guards from the dueling dragons. He then threw two fireballs towards the dragon, one rolling on the ground while the other came from above. With this distraction in place, Azerol drew his two blades and adapted a part human/part dragon form. His wings arched behind him while his tail curled around his feet. His eyes and teeth became sharp and even some of his hair had formed into spikes.

Seriah calmly stepped aside from the fireballs, drawing two jagged swords as he did so. His body contorting into a mix of flesh and fang. Seriahs hands dawned sharp claws, his arms and chest protected by thick plates of scales and spikes. "You don't care about this realm any more than I do Azerol, you've proven that." Seriah said, a low growl rumbling from his chest.
"A fair fight you want, a fair fight you'll get, Child." Seriah growled, a thin streak of lightening spiraling towards the other dragons feet.

Azerol rolled away from the lightening bolt and used his swords to send waves of fire towards the dragon opposite him. "I care more about it now than you ever have before, friend. I left that night because I knew you were serious when you wanted the throne and you were willing to take down your best friend for it. Now I know why you did, and I do not like it."

Seriah blocked the fire with a bolt of his mental energy, blinking quickly to clear his vision afterwards. "Oh? And this is what you plan to do about it? You show your true colors, Azerol. You wont do any better than I have." Seriah hissed.
He stepped closer to the other dragon, his boots tapping on the floor as he advanced. His jaw was set with sharp teeth, horns protruding out of his hair. "Come on, child, Let's see how strong you really are."

Azerol snarled, knowing that Seriah was only asking for his own downfall with the remarks. The dragon across from him had no idea about the icy powers the dragon also possessed, but he was not about to show his whole hand to the current dragon lord yet.
Deciding to close the distance between the two of them, Azerol lept forward, letting his wings carry him closer and powering up his swords with fire. He spun in mid-air, spinning the swords and unleashing a gust of fire at the other dragon while the blades came dangerously close to the dragon's hand that contained the other blades.

Seriah stumbled back, the gusts from Azerols attack putting him off balance. Though he was soon thankful for it, for it was that factor that kept the blade from slicing him, and gave him an opening for attack.
Releasing a feral snarl, Seriah lunged at Azerol, his jagged blade slicing at the others wings, hoping to find purchase on the softer hide of the dragon.

Sensing the attack of the other dragon Azerol made sure to throw his weight into Seriah and knock him backwards. He felt the blades slide across his wings, but it was more of a gentle scratch than a deep gouge like they would have been if he had stepped backwards. He caught himself as Seriah toppled over and touched the flames behind him.
A snarl was emitted from the dragon as he unleashed a wave of fire upon the dragon in front of him. He took a step back out of the other dragon's reach just to be on the safe side.

A roar of pain emitted from Seriah as he fell back into Azerols flames, Scalding his arms. His chest had been protected by the scales growing along it and Seriah was thankful then that he'd taken that precaution. Seriah roared as he was blasted yet again with flame from Azerol, his eyes deepening to a clear-silver color, electricity crackling around him. "Play time is over, hatchling." He snarled, sending bolts at Azerol.

Azerol stopped his attack on Seriah to create a shield around him with his own flames. As he did so more of his dragon features showed through to allow him to have more power. With that power he fought back the bolts of lightening with less trouble before he pushed them back at their owner with another burst of energy in the form of fire.
"You talk at me as if I was much younger than you, Seriah. But you misunderstand where we all stand in this. I am not even a dragon's year younger than you," Azerol stated simply as he moved further back from the other dragon to plan another attack.

Seriah grimaced when faced with his own destructive bolts, throwing more bolts at them, to counter their power and leave only steaming remains. He was out of practice, years spent being catered too had made him weak. Though he wouldn't let his opponent know this.
"Does any system run by a dragons year any longer? Does a dragons year really matter? Ha! You are still young.." Seriah said. During his rule, he'd been more than happy to attempt and drop all forms of dragon culture, happy to let time flow as it wished.
He balanced himself upon the ground, then started off towards the other dragon, lashes of lightning circling around Seriah in a sort of shield. The only part of Seriahs eye left to become silver was a thin slip of black through the center, Seriah was reaching for his core power. Desperation filled the air around him.

Letting out a roar of anger Azerol took a deep breath and let it out with a cold breath, causing the ground to ice over between Seriah and Azerol. He then created a wall of ice in front of him and side stepped it, almost fully in a dragon state now. "How dare you...." he growled angrily at the thought of his people losing the heritage that separated their race from the other realms.

Seriah chuckled, laughing at the angered dragon in front of him. "It's not like you cared, Prince Azerol. You were busy running from your own race. " He hissed, stepping onto the ice in front of him, it hissed to match his, melting around his feet. "You hate me for how I rule, Prince. But I didn't run from my kind, I stayed, you left."
