I'm gonna hit this off by throwing Watchmen and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen out there. So, International Music, what movies have you seen recently (or a long time ago, in a galaxy fa, far away) and thought "wow! That music really works for this!"? You don't even have to have liked the movie to appreciate a good soundtrack. wink

The two that first come to mind are Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter: Half Blood Prince
I'm also going to throw out there that there are quite a few AMAZING game soundtracks. I just love final fantasy X's soundtrack!! VII isn't bad either (the Crisis Core spinoff probably worked best for me in terms of music!) xd

I really loved Disney's Tarzan soundtrack. Phil Collins did a phenomonal job. Every time I listen to it, I find some nuance to it I hadn't heard before. I also love all the Star Wars music. The Augie's Municipal Band that played during the parade scene in Phantom Menace always makes me happy. It just has that upbeat feel to it, you know? The chorus for all the epic duels gives me chills every single time.

The Watchmen soundtrack was pretty impressive. I saw the movie for the first time the other day and was pretty blown away by the music. Revenge of the Fallen soundtrack was pretty good too.
The main ones that blow me away though, would be the scores for the Star Wars and Indiana Jones series. Just wow @_@

Windstruck and My Sassy Girl's were both very moving.
I also liked the Final Fantasy soundtracks. I love many of the songs from many of the games. Nuff said. ^^
