Who: Annabel and Noel
Where: Beaver Cabin
When: Day Eight, sunset

User Image Her afternoon meeting with Chris had given her hope- at least a sliver from what she'd felt earlier. The trek down the cliff had given her time alone to think, and breathe- and at the very least, stop sniveling. And- maybe it hadn't entirely been right. She'd gone below the belt, yes, but... maybe being left out all night wasn't exactly the best reaction to get.

But, what could she do now? As Chris had said, what was done was done. No sense dwelling on the past anymore- it was time to sober up, learn from it, and move on.

So she'd gotten out of hand, obviously. She'd just have to be more cautious- controlled, rather. Twice, now, he'd told her she wasn't getting out of their alliance- maybe he really wanted her around, too? ...In some sick sense of the idea, anyway. No, definitely what they had was messed up- normal people wouldn't pull each other off cliffs, strip the other on public television, or leave someone stunned and alone for the night.

...In its own sick, twisted way, though... it was exciting. As much as she hated to admit it, she couldn't get Chris out of her game that quickly. At least, for now, she had a secret weapon on her side.

But, no. She was back to the cabin- if anything, she needed to stop thinking about that, and instead worry about meeting up with Simon. Lord, she owed him one hell of an apology. And how would she even go about starting...? Hi, Simon, sorry I never came back, I got darted in the woods and nobody came to carry me back? Because, yeah, that'd go over well. ESPECIALLY considering she'd just told him the night before that she trusted Chris.

Sighing, Annabel pushed open the door to the cabin, cautiously looking around. She still looked like s**t, yes, but... wasn't much she could do about that now...

"...Simon..?"

Today had been an eventful day. The mod was still nursing the red stripe across his face he gotten earlier on his patrol with Simon. s**t that freaking hurt like a b***h. Really, Noel could look past the pain if it hadn't left the red stripe across his face. His beautiful face.

The mod had no luck when he was patrolling those woods and had seen no sign of Simon OR Annabel since after him and Simon split up. The only thing he had found was the new red mark across his face. Sure in a day or two it wouldn't be there and there was always cover up. But damn it, the mod took pride in his NATURAL beauty. Damn it.

He hadn't even noticed the approaching foot steps or the door open until he heard 'Simon?'. That got his attention. Though.. the mod couldn't see the face of who ever the voice belonged to from where he was at.

Feet dangling from his bunk he hopped down ... and messed up the landing causing him to land on his butt. ********. Ow.

"... SEHHHSHHHHHSHSSSSHHH .. " he inhaled through his teeth. ********. His butt was beautiful but at least no one would see a mark if one got left.

" .. No Simon.. Just mee.." Noels voice was squeezed as he spoke in pain. His eyes were closed so he hadn't seen the face of just WHO walked in yet.

User Image Ouch. Wincing painful when Noel jumped to the floor, Annabel had to look away for a moment in sympathy pain- that was going to leave a mark. Cracking a peek over her shoulder to watch as Noel whined up to her, she couldn't help but laugh the slightest bit- but really, it was only because of how absolutely silly he looked. ...And hey, maybe this would be good for her! Just a nice, friendly conversation to raise her spirits. Moving toward her own bunk (And god, how many nights had it been since she'd slept in it..?) Annabel quickly climbed the ladder, rooting around among her things for her shirt.

"That's alright, Noel. ...You, uh, feeling alright there, bud? Kinda looks like it stung like a b***h," she offered sympathetically, despite the usual swearing taking to her tone once more. She was going to have to ease up, anyway, if she wanted to get back to whatever semblance of normal camp offered. ...Not that there was much, mind you, but the girl could at least pretend there was. But, hey, that was alright- she was back on her feet again, despite some lingering soreness, and... her bedsheets had started to smell like Simon.

She could think of a lot more things to complain about.

Giving a sort of dreamy sigh at the realization her friend had, in fact, been using her bedsheets, Annabel seemed entirely girly for a moment- until she snapped herself back together, and peered over the side of the bunk to the Brit below.

"OI. Noel. You haven't seen my shirt around here, have you..?"
PostPosted: Tue Jul 28, 2009 9:11 pm

Noel , who had been wincing in pain, didn't open his eyes until the 'Oi'. Before he had just nodded at the sympathies and rocked back and forth. Now he found him self looking up at Annabelle. He blinked. He stared. He blinked.

"Your hair! You're a mess!" His jaw hung open for a short while. She really was not looking good at all. Damn. Wait...... Had he just said that out loud? Ooops.

"I - I mean.. .WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" Maybe she'd forget the first two comments. Usually when he told a girl she wasn't looking her best it resulted in a face slap followed by a make out session. But maybe he could get her to forget that. He did not want to be slapped by Annabelle. No.

"Si-Simon and I were looking all over for you. " He got up on his feet and ouch. His butt hurt. His face and his butt. Damn it.

User Image At the comment of how terrible she apparently looked, Annabel's eyebrows shot up. Well. Someone obviously hadn't heard of a little thing called tact. On anybody else, it probably would've pissed her off- or another day, she supposed. But... Noel? Noel made it endearing. God help the boy, he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Crossing her arms as she leaned over the bed, Annabel gave him a casual shrug, still trying to piece together how she was going to respond to the question. From her encounter with Helen, it was terribly obvious that flat out lying wouldn't work.

"I got tranq'd," she admitted honestly, not bothering to go into the other half of the story. Whatever Noel wanted to take of it, he could- she wasn't, at least, going to blatantly lie. More like... a half-truth. And that wasn't as bad as a full out lie, at any rate! At least, now, she was being partially honest! Lazily gesturing, she continued her hanging sentence.

"Out for the night. No idea what happened after that."

At the mention of Simon, however, her demeanor changed back to one of worry and panic. Biting her lower lip, her ears pinned back in sadness.

"I-Is he alright now..? Simon, I mean? W-where is he...?" Oh god, she hadn't expected him to go out looking for her. He... he was supposed to stay here at the cabin, or something...! Oh ********, that was bad...
PostPosted: Wed Jul 29, 2009 9:22 am

Noels ears twitched at the fact she was Tranq'd. Seemed to be a common thing around here to happen... He swallowed the question if she still had it on her and if he could have it for 'other' uses. Yeah not a good time right now to be asking that.

"Simons fine. He... was worried about you. Right now he's out in the woods I think searching. We split up but I ended up back at the cabin." Noel was still a little shocked that Anneh had come back to the cabin. He was sure that she met her untimely demise to a demon deer. But low and behold here she was unharmed but with a rats nest of hair. Noel winced a little, he wanted to fix that for her.

"I-I'm sure he's fine. " Noel added quickly, though, honestly it had been a while since he saw the larper. Noel's tone wasn't all that convincing either, but the mod had tried to at least cheer up Anneh.... but god that hair was a mess! Noel's eyes stayed trained on it .

The thoughts going through his head were painfully obvious since he verbalized them earlier. He really disapproved.

User Image When Noel had proven himself alright, Annabel had turned to resume her preparations, digging about for any sign of a shirt. God, the thing was red- it shouldn't be this hard to find! Maybe, though, she was horribly distracted with worry over Simon- trying not to think of him alone in the woods. Honestly, though, the thought was terrifying- Chris certainly wasn't in a forgiving mood, and if Simon should stumble his way, that could be bad. Very, very b-

THERE WAS THE SHIRT! Practically diving for the article, Annabel clutched it in her paws, a borderline manic grin on her face. Alright. So maybe she'd been a little concerned with putting the bruise and marking off display, but hey! What semi-self-respecting individual wouldn't at least care a little bit? Quickly tugging the shirt over her head- the stretching pose possibly enough to show off the lovely nasty bruise she'd earlier acquired from Chris, her ears flicked in mild irritation.

"Well, I really need to talk with him- badly," she started, working to fix the sleeves on her arms. They had to sit just right, or honestly, they'd bunch, and the stripes would look bad!

"And as soon as I get my shirt fixed up- maybe wash my hair a bit, and get that looking less... ratty..." Annabel commented, sparing a glance over to Noel and practically grinning at his disapproving stare, she continued idly.

"I'm going to go looking for him. He has to be heading back here, at some point- seeing as it's almost nightfall and all."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 29, 2009 6:29 pm

A flash of bruise was enough to get an interested look from Noel. Yup that was either the work of a demon deer or some really interesting night out... if you liked it rough. He swallowed his questions but the look was enough to tell his mind had gone in the completely wrong direction. Hey, after a few interesting nights, he some times had marks too he didn't want to talk about with anyone. Anneh was allowed to have her interesting little secrets.

Noel sighed and shook his head pretending all of a sudden his feet were more interesting, " With that hair you're not going any where dear, " For Simon he needed to fix this girl up. Her hair.... a mess like that... no. It needed to be washed, yeah sure, but it needed style.

In the name of Simon's battle for love, Noel would battle Anneh's tangles and make her hair silky smooth. Like butter on flap jacks.

Mmmmm, flap jacks.

No wait focus! Anneh needed him right now.

User Image Shirt on and content with her looks, Annabel had moved to scurry down the ladder, desperate to get out and get to hunting for Simon. She might not have looked her best, but hey- Simon wasn't the kind of guy to care! Feet hitting the floor with a soft thunk as she jumped from the rung she'd been on, Annabel had turned to leave, when she caught sight of Noel's little change of focus from her to his feet. Eyebrows still raised as she looked him over, she couldn't help the slight snerk of laughter when he commented on the state of her hair.

"You're kidding me, right?" She asked, amusement obvious in her voice. Taking a bit of her hair in her fingers, Annabel glanced over it for a moment, finding it to be in far worse condition than she'd originally believed. Probably a night in the woods would leave anybody's hair in that state of affairs, though. Smile fading the more in depth she looked at the rat's nest on her head, Annabel was silent- finally giving a dejected sigh, and turning back to Noel with pleading eyes.

"Alright, s**t, so you're not. It looks pretty damn bad. But how long is this going to take?" She asked, a foot tapping impatiently at the thought of being delayed any longer. Giving a slight 'tch' in disapproval, she shook her head in frustration.

"I'm not a makeover kind of girl, obviously. Let's... let's just get this over with as quickly as possible. I've got a boy to find, y'know."
PostPosted: Thu Jul 30, 2009 1:26 pm

Before Annabel could say another word the brit had a straightener in one hand and hair product in the other. Admittedly it would be easier to style if she had washed her hair, but, Noel was an expert. He could deal with unwashed hair. Hey, going to some concert tours there where days where the boy didn't wash his hair. Following after a band on tour lead to some pretty isolated places at times.

"Alright, first you need to sit down. " He pointed to an open back with the straightener. Oh god this was going to be more work then he had originally thought. She really had been on the forest floor for a long time. Noel just prayed that no spiders jumped out of that hair nest of hers while he styled.

He whipped out a fine toothed comb from his rear pocket. Boy always needed to be prepared to comb his hair after all.

"Just promise you won't hurt me if this hurts some.... You said you wanted this done quickly, " Noel eyed the knots and shook his head. This was gonna hurt like a b***h since he had to be quick. He could do it but it would be some what painful.

User Image Oh good god, was he really going at her hair with... THAT?! Annabel, just then, might've paled- the girl who seemed to not fear anything was definitely looking uneasy around that straightener. It wasn't fear, really, more the idea that Annabel didn't frequently do this kind of thing- she'd dyed her hair and kept it updated, but that was basically it. Hair products? All she knew was that she washed her hair with shampoo. Beyond that, Annabel was essentially useless in the field of being a girl. Still.... Noel seemed intent on keeping here.

Sighing once more as she moved to the spot she was supposed to go, Annabel sat down, resting her chin on one of her hands. Something about this just screamed BAD IDEA- maybe the flashbacks to attempts by her younger sister. Noel, at the very least, wouldn't be shoving her into pink bows and what-not. ...Or would be wise enough not to try, anyway. At the question of attacking the boy, Annabel rolled her eyes.

"Please, Noel. I've got to survive with you here for a while longer- I'm not beating up any of my Beavers. Swear it." She said, offering a very weak smile- it faded quickly, however, as a more prominent thought struck her mind.

"I, uh. ...You can go slower if it'll hurt less."
PostPosted: Thu Jul 30, 2009 6:17 pm

Noel sighed with relief. He was not a sadist, thank god for Anneh. He gave her an innocent smile almost as if to say 'Would I hurt you bad ever?' with out actually saying it.

"Alright, I'll try not to make this hurt, " With very delicate hands the mod began to comb out those knots. He worked fast and effectively. Not so fast that it would cause Anneh discomfort but fast enough to get those knots out with out having screaming. When he was done with that , Anneh's hair was nice and soft, twig and knot free. Still, it wasn't done. It needed product and straightening and she could do with a little bit of make up.

Lucky for Anneh the boy was prepared. Noel pulled her hair back out of her face and tied it in a neat little bun.

"Gonna start on your make up now." Noel smiled holding a nice red stick of lip stick in one hand and eye lash curler in the other. Anneh didn't look like she needed any foundation. "Shall we?"

User Image Annabel seemed to hiss in pain each time he went through her hair, wincing and muttering some sort of expletive at his combing. God, the boy was thorough- anyone else, she might've turned around and socked them in the face. She'd already promised Noel she wouldn't hurt him, though, and she really didn't want Simon to think any less of her than he already would... biting her lower lip, Annabel tried not to comment any more, not wanting to make the boy mess up and take longer. Holy hell, how did normal girls put up with this kind of crap!? This was absolutely HORRIBLE!

When he moved to pull her hair out of her face, Annabel closed her eyes, at least a bit of unease still left in her. Lack of control- that was what this entire thing was about. Noel was entirely at his own free will, and unless she wanted to make a scene, Annabel couldn't do a thing about. Thankfully, she partially trusted the boy- after his freakout on losing his multiple outfits, he'd shown himself to at least know a little bit about the fashion and style world. God, this better be like Allstate and put her in good hands, or she was going to be PISSED. Would Simon even like seeing her madeover...?

"I've never done this before, so, it's up to you," she admitted, a tiny hint of uneasiness in her voice. Makeup was typically a no-go in her book; in these amounts, anyway. God, the last cosmetic thing she'd done was getting her ears pierced.

...All the times she'd gone back for that. Heh. Too bad multiple ear-piercings weren't high fashion. She could totally dig that.

"Just... don't make me look super slutty or anything, please. I- I don't want to give the wrong kind of image to Simon."
PostPosted: Thu Jul 30, 2009 11:20 pm

Noel made a face at the slutty comment. Him, make a whore out of her? Pftttt, he had taste, he had style and today for the first time he realized he was totally gay for another boy. Oh yeah, he had the gay thing on his side. In fashion the boy was now unstoppable.

"PAH-LEASE, " Noel held up a hand and for a brief moment his face went into an arrogant mask, "Me? Do something as tacky as a cheap pick up girl on the corner. I don't think so, bird. I prefer a bit more style with MY girls." Even though he was totally gay for Lucifer , the boy liked girls. Specially boobs. Though... no girl had him p***y whipped and guessing like Lucifer. Nope. Noel took a brief moment to look at Anneh's chest... Nope didn't do much for the boy. Oh god he was so gay right now. Awesome.

With liquid smooth movements Noel did this and that and this and that with a brush, an eye lash curler, nother brush, pencil, glitter and more brushes. It was a cloud of make up in a liquid smooth speed. Noel knew what he was doing as he worked inches from Anneh's face.

Finally, the boy set down his brushes and sighed. "I must say ... I think I did better then I thought I would." He tilted his head to the side. Damn. Anneh was hot.

User Image Bird...? His girls...? Were she not trying to keep herself still for the makeover, that so would've gotten an eyebrow raise out of Annabel. As for now, however, she kept perfectly still, waiting for Noel to work his magic, or whatever it was his kind of guy did. Her jaw honestly dropped when he had the nerve to look down and blatantly ogle her chest- and then... what the hell was he thinking? Sneering slightly at his actions, Annabel looked up with a glare.

"Back up there, Barbie," she snapped, even as he started work on her makeup. Trying to keep the rest of her still while she quipped at him was hard- especially considering the ungodly amounts of makeup that now seemed to be going on her. Holy hell, where had he gotten all of this from?! Clawing at the fabric of her shirt, since she'd taken it as a stress-hold, Annabel was still frowning.

"First off, since when was I your girl? I must've missed the memo on that," she snarked, closing her eyes as the eyelash curler came forward. Like hell that was going to stop the wrath of Annabel though.

"And you might want to update Simon on that status, if that's the case. Secondly, warn a girl before you stare at her tits? My eyes are up here, thank-you-very-much, and I don't think the girls are in need of a makeover." Alright. So it was a bit vulgar and crass, but that was honestly how she felt right now- her face might've been slightly colored at the thought of a guy looking at her like that. Chris... hadn't been looking with interest. Then, it'd been a vendetta. Simon had only seen by accident, and as a good friend, hadn't taken interest. This? This situation was different.

Lost in her thoughts, Annabel honestly hadn't noticed when Noel finished- jolting in surprise, she blinked a few times at him.

"...S-so I look good, right? ...D'you think Simon will like it...?"
